NorthStar Jewelry and Loan is a rip off. They purchase stolen phones and sell them to the public. Once the phone got locked by the carrier I went to the store to be told by their "Manager" that they cant do anything for me thats the risk I took from buying from them. Are you serious this is how you treat your customers? I had to call the store owner from a different location and he tried to help me but directed me to another person. When I spoke to the other owner they said they will give me half credit and I can put up the extra $200 for a different phone. I paid $400.00 for the phone I bought from them do you really think I will give you more money to get ripped off again. I am not one to complain but the way they treated me was out of line and the owner wasnt even available to assist me for a week from the time I called. I had my receipt and phone in mint shape along with everything that came with it. T-Mobile shut off the service and claimed this phone as stolen. They are scammers and the wheeling locating has the worst employees. Im not a feen I went in there with cash in hand and made a very expensive purchase. Think about it before you sell or buy anything from them they are crooks and will do whatever they can to take your money.

This Pawnshop is excellent!! I came in to buy a laptop and was totally unsure of how to choose, or what to look for when buying one. The employees were so kind and helpful they spent a half hour explaining, and teaching me things about laptops. I bought an excellent machine at a great price!! Usually i am skeptical about pawnshops but Northstar jewelry is no ordinary pawn shop, its clean and has a great environment. I recommend anyone to this store.

These folks are are true benefit to the community. Theyve sponsored teams for years, annually donated autographed items for our fund raising auction, and last year when we didnt get a bidder for one of the items, they bought back the item they gave to us... for cash! I wish every business in the area was as thoughtful.

i have to say, this place is clean. very nice place. if you looking to buy some jewelry/other stuff or even sell what you have, this is the place to be. No other pawn shop delivers there services like Northstar Jewelry & Loan do. they treat you like family.

Man this place will rip you off. Have a 154 signed bobby lane card grade 9 and offered 10 bucks when you can sell for 450. No thanks "pawn" shop
