Hello, My name is Nyla Franklin. I bought a car from a car lot called prestige auto. In June of 2016. I bought the car and i drove off the lot, the engine light came on. I came back to the lot and told them the light is on and we need to get that fixed. They said oh we dont have time today or next week but call up here and we can see if we can get it fixed. Spoke with my finance company and they threaten to retract the money for the sale if wasnt fixed in the next couple of days. They then agreed to make my car priority and fix it, while doing so they had me wait over 4 hours so the car was extremely hot and they couldnt operate on it until it cooled down, doing so the mechanic punctured a hole in the radiator hose. When he did that it caused engine oil to run through the cooling system, causing the car to overheat and to spew engine oil over the engine. They took the car back and said they were going to flush the system with dish soap and water to flush (second mechanic brought in to check). They explained that it will need to continuously be flushed for a while to get it back 100%. We agreed that they would do this free of charge and all i would have to do is bring the car back to them and it would be taken care of no worries. I brought the car back and to my surprise they had let go of the original mechanic, which caused me to have to explain the situation and agreement to him. He flushed the engine again and said that I would have to drive it for a while so that it can flush it self before they could put coolant back in there. They never replaced the water in the system with coolant fluid, which has caused the engine to blow out. I called them after the engine blew out on the expressway (i was able to get to safety and to by going up the ramp, only to get stuck there). While speaking with Kathy from Prestige Auto she informed me that after Jan 1st 2017 they were owned by someone else. I was informed that I should call Zee and tell him. Speaking with Zee he said oh call your warranty they will tow the car to us and we can fix it for and the warranty will cover it. After speaking with my finance company and attempting to speak with my warranty provider, i saw that it would not work in the time frame I had available. I called Zee back and we had a very heated discussion Zee somehow forgot the agreement we had about the water left behind in the coolant system and he and his two LEAD mechanics accepted their fault and agreed on fixing the issue to my satisfactory. Zee told me that he sold the lot and he no longer cares what happens with the car and hung up. I have lost time at work having to find another car, because of this the cars trade in value is shot and is worth no more than 100$. I understand that this is a used car and its reliability is less than of a new or pre-owned certified car, but the damage done that caused the failure of the engine was brought on by Prestige Auto solely. Which left with out of a car primarily and having to potentially quit my job, as I wont be able to make it to work as I live over 30 miles from my job. It has also caused much emotional distress as I have to spend funds getting around (over 200$) and it has damaged my credit looking for a lender to finance another car. I have to spend additional money to get into a car (1,500). I am not the only person damaged by Prestige Auto, every car they sale has problems, Ive spoken with a guy who bought a car from them and it broke down within the next month. Their cars are a danger to those who purchase them and a danger on the road as they can break down at anytime. Please help me to spread word about Prestige Auto so that consumers are aware of the dangers brought on by this company and that they become a better company to work with.

Dear lei J , instead of being grateful and thankful to us For being able to get you financed on a vehicle that is not only a newer and reliable vehicle, u should be ashamed of your self for leaving such a bad review about us considering the fact that no other car dealership was willing to finance u due to obvious reasons , even thou u purchased this vehicle AS IS , the only problem u had was that your battery went bad 5 weeks later. Not only did we go to your home and pick up the car and install a new battery for u FREE OF CHARGE . We also took care of the problem the same day. Also as u know who ever u had that tried to jump the car damaged the cable to the battery causing the car not to start a week later, what did we do ? We Went and got your car again and replaced the cable FREE OF CHARGE again. If this is your only complaint about our dealership I would say u u really need to find something better to do in your free time. Not only did we sell u a great vehicle and helped u get off the bus . We also stood behind any problems u had. How about a thank u? Good luck and God bless.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS!!! THEY SELL UNRELIABLE CARS AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!! ONE OF THE MANAGERS NAMED FAITH IS VERY IGNORANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARGUES WITH CUSTOMERS. SHE BLAMES THE CUSTOMERS FOR THE PROBLEMS THEY EXPERIENCE WITH THE CARS! SHE CLAIMS THAT CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THEY SELL CUSTOMERS CARS "AS IS", THEY ARE "NOT" OBLIGATED TO HELP WITH PROBLEMS CUSTOMERS MAY HAVE! MOST CUSTOMERS THAT BUY CARS FROM THIS LOT ARE SOLD BAD CARS AND LOSE OUT ON MONEY!!! STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM PRESTIGE AUTO IN CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL. AND DO NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE!!!

I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Impala LTZ and I love it. 17 days later the check engine light came on, I called my salesman, he scheduled an appointment for me. When I brought it in for service, I asked how much it would be because I didnt have a warranty and the manager told me, they would take care of it since I just bought the car. No other dealership would have done that. Taking my brother after Christmas to get a car from there, they give out referral fees, awesome!!

I felt very comfortable knowing the not only a sales department but also a service department on site. They inspect and repair all of their vehicles and even gave me a two year warranty. I was able to drive with a car of my choice unlike other lots that I visited prior to shopping here due to my previous credit history. Thanks to the staff at prestige auto exchange. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially if your credit isnt the best and you want a reliable car

I was car shopping & I just made a stop by Prestige Auto Exchange & met Aubrey Johnson & he worked really hard with me insuring me that I would get the car that I picked... My experience here was great, any problem that I had with my car was address immediately!!! After I`m done paying for this one I`ll be right back for my next one........I`m very satisfied, the whole staff is very friendly!
