Went to this place to get a jeep. They ended up having one that was in our orice range and was in semi good condition. Took for a test drive and found out there was A vibration in the right front tire. As I asked them to bring over a car mechanic to see what might be going on or to give us the service records for the vehicle they told us that they spoke with the service department and said that it was the swaybar bushings. My husband and I said OK thats fine its an easy fix but the part and fix it ourselves. We bought the part fixed it and ended up still having the same issue. Take it to Firestone and they said they did a look over on the vehicle with their whatever special for $9.99 and the balance your tires they said that was the issue they couldnt find anything else wrong. Now I go to drive off Firestones lot and its still having the same issue after getting into an argument with Firestone and the general managerthere. I was told to contact jeep where I bought the vehicle and see what they can do. Ended up going to the used car dealership part of Gary Matthews Jeep Dodge ram where I bought the vehicle and spoke to the manager Pete hall. After speaking with Pete he said that he would try to do everything that he cant get the vehicle fixed and in the meantime he would give us a car off of his lot to drive around. Now granted we dropped it off and they told us it was only going to be a couple of things of what they thought now whenever they try to fix the vehicle, It ended up being more parts than what they thought. They never kept in contact with me or my husband telling us what was wrong with your vehicle or what needed to be done or how much anything is going to cost and my husband and I were making frequent trips back-and-forth to the dealership wanting to know what the hell was going on with our truck. Now after I finally get there and I find out whats going on I asked for the trade-in information from our vehicle whenever it was traded in from the previous buyer. Nowhere on this Treyden information before my husband and I bought the vehicle did it say that anything regarding swaybar bushings needed to be done just the normal oil change I see if theres any recalls anything like that. So my husband and I were pretty ticked off that we spent money on the part that we did not need. After jeep had my car for almost 2 weeks I finally got it back everything was fixed, But was told by one of the car salesmans that he does not trust his service department at all because his service department is a joke he almost gave me a card if you had it to a friend of his that open up a shop downtown that would be able to look at my truck because the service department at jeep was horrifying that he is lost numerous clients and business from just the service department although the car salesman who sold us the car were amazing I regret to say I have to give a one star to this place because this was the worst car buying experience that my husband and I have ever been through. We have our own over a total of 12 vehicles in the past couple years and this is the worst vehicle that weve ever bought and/or had to try and get rid of. Not to mention they overprice the vehicle and now we are $10,000 upside down if we were to trade it in. They are the worst dealership that is in Clarksville Tennessee please steer clear of this place it will ruin your life your family and your income!!! I will also be contacting Better Business Bureau regarding this issue

My overall experience was dissapointing considering I purchased a $54,000 vehicle, my first ever Jeep product! I guess I might expect too much from people. Mr. Mathews seems to be a fine gentleman but the staff I dealt with were substandard in my opinion. The staff (some): I do have to say that "Paul" salesman was pretty good....a considerate employee. He was courteous and helped where he could. Larry "coach" was uncaring, unenthused, and didnt offer to go above and beyond to make my first Jeep purchase an exciting experience. He was boring and has the personality of a clam. Specifically, I inquired about different packages available for my vehicle to enhance the appearance but he offered nothing. Sure he talked around it but he didnt care if he could offer anything or not....just a dead feeling. This might be because I pre-ordered my vehicle....the first new vehicle I ever ordered from any dealer. I should have gone to another dealer but for some reason I did not. My mistake. The parts and service department -- a. I called them to discuss Jeep accessories also. They were to research some things and call me back with details but I never received a call. What kind of service is this? b. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and it was completed satisfactorily with the exception that there was a heavy burning oil smell emitting and I dont know why. Not sure if they dumped it down the motor and it had to burn off or what. I crawled under the vehicle to see if it was on the exhaust pipe due to draining it but I could not see anything obvious. I still cant determine why the smell. This left me with a feeling of uncertainty. I will pay close attention at next oil change at another dealership most likely or do it myself. c. I thought being a new customer for Jeep that they might give a quick wash of my vehicle when taken in for service. The interior was spotless just dirty on the outside. My experience with TOYOTA is that they have done this for me in the past repeatedly and Paul talked Jeep up to me so much that I guess I anticipated more from them -- not to be confused with expecting more. Well, not so much -- Maybe at another dealership??? Anyway, my overall experience with this dealership is less than thrilling. I have to agree with some of the comments others have shared in these reviews (specifically Brian Boase). I will not very likely purchase another vehicle from them in the future. There attitude here seems to be that if you dont buy it then somebody else will and they know they have the military audience to prey upon. This dealership will not be recommended to anybody by me.

Worst group of people Ive ever dealt with in my life. Terrible "follow through" effort. NEVER EVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I cannot express what a disgusting job these people did and how they treated us. Ive read other reviews about this dealership and I couldnt agree more with all of the negative reviews. I copied a response to one of the negative reviews. Heres their reply: This is obviously concerning, Brad, and were very sorry that you felt like we didnt have your best interests in mind. Please know that we would never take advantage of anyone, as we respect all of our customers -- including those in the military. If you have any concerns, we hope youll reach out to us, as we welcome getting this resolved. Thank you. -Gary Mathews Motors ....this made me laugh. They say they "would never take advantage of anyone"... These people take advantage of their customers!!! And there is definitely no respect for their customers. They only have their best interest in mind, not the customers. So be WARNED!!!....NEVER do business of any kind with this company. You will be kicking yourself if you do!!!! ...Here is another response from Gary Mathews Motors to yet another negative review: The entire team here really does care about our customers, Alex, so we would never purposely be dishonest. All processing fees are typically disclosed during financing, we apologize that you felt this information should have been addressed sooner. We are also disappointed if any members of our team came across as rude, as we strive to make each customer feel valued. If you have any questions, we hope youll reach out to us. Thank you. -Gary Mathews Motors **The entire team does not care about their customers Alex. And, yes, they would purposely be dishonest. They will be dishonest to get whatever monies they can out of you. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! And for an employee stating they dont like to sell certain cars that come in for trade, but if the customer is looking for a particular vehicle, they will sell what they have....really???? They will sell any vehicle no matter how unsafe it is and no matter what is wrong with it! And Pete...what a joke! Listen to your employees Gary Mathews!!! Listen to their concerns.
