I went into Mercedes Benz of Naperville on November 25th 2014. I had a appointment with the salesman at 11:00am to look at a 2011 E Class they had available. I took my cousin with me so he can give me his input on the vehicle. After test driving the car and liking the car we went inside to discuss the price. We went back and forth negotiating the price of the car for about 2 hours. The salesman kept going back and forth to his manager everytime we countered the price, which is a typical practice among all dealers. Finally the salesman came back and said we can go down to $30,700.00 would you be able to come up a little to that. I thought about it and talked to my cousin then i told the salesman I’m comfortable going up to $30,200.00. Again the salesman said no problem let me go talk to my manager. He leaves for 10 mins and comes back and when he returned he said we have a deal. So then the salesman gets a yellow envelope to start the paperwork process. He asks me to obtain a copy of my insurance and to have my drivers license ready. As i was getting my insurance he sends a porter to drive the vehicle to the back to get it washed and vacuumed. We then seen the porter drive the car to the back to get it prepared for me. The salesman leaves away from the desk while i was on hold with my allstate agent obtaining my insurance. After about 5 mins a “manager” comes to the desk and sits down and introduced himself. After he introduced himself he said we can’t sell the car that low and we can’t let it go until we speak to the owner. He continued explaining that the owner isn’t answering and for them to sell it that low they need his approval. He asked me to give him sometime about a hour, go have lunch in the area to kill some time and he will call me with the decision. My cousin and I head out with some suspicion. We begin thinking what happen all of sudden that got them to back out the deal. The only thing that came into my mind was that they had another customer coming to see the car and they wanted to see if they can sell it for a higher price, but leave us on the hook just in case the other buyers don’t work out. It was around 1:45 when we left and i didn’t get a call until 5:45pm. During that call back the salesman began lying to me about how the car hood isn’t closing correctly and they need to fix it, also it might not be just the hood its probably the bumper so we cannot sell it to you like that. This was a absolute lie because i spent about 45 mins looking over the car, driving it and there was nothing wrong with it. Potential customers BEWARE do not do business with shady dealerships. We had a deal and had everything in motion then they backed out, i wasted almost 3 hours of my time and ended up getting the run around. I recommend going to the Mercedes Dealership in Chicago that is on North Ave and the 94 expressway. Two of my cousins are also in the market for a car, one was looking for a CLS and the other was looking for a SUV. Both were ready to deal with this dealership if everything had went well with me but now the message will be spread that this dealer doesn’t deserve loyal customers.

I feel so used! I am a young female and I know quite a bit about cars and worked in the automobile industry for 4 years. I bought my 2008 GL450 in June of 2014. The day after I bought my car it rained really bad the water got in the car, how I dont know. But the water burned out the computer box. When I tried to start the car the next day, the windows rolled down, sunroof opened and the door would not lock all on their own. I was on the south side of Chicago at that time so you can imagine how nervous I was. I finally said Im just going to drive the car back to naperville where I live and lord behold it started pouring down raining while I was driving. I Had no wipers, defrosters, or the windows would not roll up. I took the car back the next day and I was LIVID! By law if you bring back the car within 72 hours you can call the deal off. I told them to take the car back and give me back my audi I traded in. The service and sales manager talked to me and got me to calm down. The car was under warranty so they fixed everything and assured me that I would not have any more problems. I have since have had to take my car into service 4 different times. And the last time they had to keep it for 2 weeks. I talked to my sales person today and told him that I couldnt take it anymore. I have to pay a deductible every time I bring my car in. I explained that I tried to give them the car back within 24 hours and they wouldnt take it. He apologized but reminded me that the value of my car is less than what its worth and they wouldnt be able to trade the truck because of all the negative equity. Since Ive bought my truck I have sent 3 people to buy cars from them. I will definitely not send anyone else. Ive been in customer service for years and I would never do a customer like they did me. Ill be contacting more people and writing reviews on other sites as well to warn people about these crooks.

This was my first experience with Mercedes Benz of Naperville. I was very apprehensive at first, since it is my first Mercedes and I was looking for a particular build that I even was ready to order if not available. I bought a new 2017 GLE 350. I made an appointment with Peter Samaan (my best Sales rep ever). When I met him he had a vehicle for me to look at and test drive. I cant say enough about Peter, very professional, no slick sales gimmicks, no pressure, no attempts at manipulative ploys all in all he was outstanding. MB of Naperville is just great, accommodating and clean service. And trust me, Im a skeptical type of personality. I ended up placing my order on Aug 20 and purchasing with delivery of the vehicle on Oct 15. Throughout the process Peter was in touch and kept me posted of my vehicle manufacture stages. I got a vehicle I was interested in and a personal custom build, for an unbeatable price that I was comfortable with. No hassles. Peter went above and beyond when I had questions about car finance procedure, trade-in and more. He was able to accelerate the whole process to make it smooth and easy and gave me complete peace of mind. Unbelievable! Which we all know, is close to priceless. Another great thing about MB of Naperville is post delivery service. The sales manager/Finance manager/Technician everyone came in touch with me periodically to find out if everything is ok with me and of course if I understood everything about the car and services they offer for free like a car wash (more than a paid car wash) for the life of the car regularly serviced at an authorized service station, Mbrace complimentary 5 year app procedure and registration and more. I am glad I bought my car at MB of Naperville and will do so here on.
