Wonderful, Knowledgable staff that truly care about animals and there well-being and go above and beyond to make sure pets are happy and healthy. I adopted a Italian Greyhound mix from there new "shelter dogs" they have started adopting out on a full-time basis. They felt that they should start offering shelter dogs and cats that are truly in need of a second chance at life, rather then getting their puppies and kittens from breeders, even though they were great breeders. They take care of the spay/neuter for the animal, update their vaccinations, and make sure they are ready to be adopted out to a forever home. The dogs and cats even go home with food, toys, and dog treats. And Dog Patch doesnt make a profit on them. They just cover their costs to get them ready to find new homes. My little greyhound mix is very playful and shes absolutely wonderful. She loves my kids and plays all the time in our fenced yard. We love her to death, and were so glad we found her when we decided to adopt a dog that truly needed a home and a second chance. I commend Dog Patch for moving away from breeder puppies and kittens, and towards finding homes for shelter dogs and cats that are in need of a second chance. Breeder puppies and kittens are wonderful, but those kittens and puppies are almost surely going to find a home soon, and these dogs and cats need homes now. Its nice to know theres a pet store that truly is in it for the animals and not just for the profit. And as for my new furry buddy, we needed her as much as she needed us. She makes a huge difference in our lives. So thank you Dog Patch.

I went in with my boyfriend to look at possible dogs to adopt, we were standing at the window for 20 minutes , and all the people that worked there walked by us without saying a word, I finally walked up to one of the girls and she said we had to keep waiting for someone else when the other girl finally came out we pointed to the dog we wanted to meet, and she was about to start setting us up to meet the dog when an older lady came by and said they were closing soon so no more dogs were allowed to come out , even tough we were there for plenty of time before but were ignored by staff , I tried to explain to the lady we drove 30+ minutes to see the dogs and were standing there for a while , she responded she didnt care, what its even more upsetting is that the store was full of people buying and doing other things, the store was obviously not closing "soon" ... very rude and unprofessional. 1/5 starts 0 stars if possible !

Just went here for the first time and I will definitely be back. Service was beyond EXTRODINARY. I am a new puppy mom and we adopted him so we want the transition to be as smooth as possible for the little guy. The owner or manager greeted me and helped me find exactly what I needed (Fromm puppy food). She was very honest and genuine and had a wealth of knowledge to pull from. I will most definitely be back. All the associates here are big animal lovers and are passionate about what they do and helping other pet parents. If youre looking for a place with great associates, products, and prices....Dog Patch Pet & Feed is the place to go.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am very happy to support this locally owned and operated business. They really care for thier animals and it shows. The owner frequently has cats that are from various shelters up for adoption through the store which I think is wonderful, they sell birds which are locally raised, I bought my cockatiel, a great animal there as well as a hamster for my son, they have a wonderful high quality variety of dog and cat food as well as all your pet needs and koi fish and supplies! The puppies get let out regularly in their fenced yard ...what a great place!

Over the years I have gone into Dog Patch to purchase food and other items for family pets. I feel that the merchandise has been fairly priced and is of high quality. The best part about going there is that there are several people that have worked there for many years who can answer many questions that you may have about your pet including grooming, merchandise, and other items that may be on your mind about your pet. If they dont have the answer to your question they will refer you to someone in the area that can help. I highly recommend the store along with the people that work there.

I visit Dog Patch Pet and Feed frequently to see their selection of puppies. I bought my Chocolate Lab there two years ago and she is the perfect dog. Dog Patch does a top notch job of acclaimating their puppies to a social environment. Each one of the puppies that I have played with has had a superb personality and temperment, and since they are frequently outside, potty training is exponentially easier in my opinion. The store itself feels very inviting and personal and you can tell they really do care about their animals. It is always a pleasure to visit Dog Patch Pet and Feed.

I am so disappointed with the grooming at this place. I brought my 68 pound golden retriever in today for a grooming and i cant believe i actually paid for what they did to him. He has very long hair for a golden so i asked for them to cut his underbelly short... they shaved it. They left his mane fairly long, but it is so uneven and choppy. The same goes for the back of his legs and around his ears. They didnt even bother to dry him fully. I also dont think they brushed his back much because he is shedding like crazy right now. The biggest waist of $65. Go to Yelp for pictures.

The staff at Dog Patch were wonderful! They answered all my questions and helped me make an informed decision on my purchases. Also, one of the staff members noticed that our dogs collar was a little worn/dirty. He informed us that the brand we purchased had a lifetime replacement guarantee. And he said we could swap out her old collar and leash for free (with a new one of that same brand). You wont find that kind of service and knowledge in a lot of the "big box" pet supply stores. It was an all-around great experience and I will be going back for all my pet needs!

I cannot believe this place! It used to be awesome a couple years ago, but I went in today and could not believe the TERRIBLE customer service! Me and my husband wanted to adopt..we played with one doggy and loved her but then when we went to go ask questions, the girl gave us a major attitude so we gave her back the dog and she said (and I quote)..."its ok...these people dont like you." Wth!?!? We loved her! But youre the one we dont like...Im SO UPSET!!! Im telling all my dog lover friends not to go here!

I cant believe someone would say such negative things about Dog Patch Pets. My family and I bought our puppy from them 8 years ago and the staff was wonderfully helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. Our dog has been an absolute BLESSING to our family-- happy, healthy, and loving. Before you post negative feedback regarding this establishment, know your facts. Theyre great!
