I love the new location. It has an upscale, clean and friendly vibe when you enter. I have used second amendment for about 7 years now and have always had a positive experience when choosing to shop here. The workers there really enjoy what they do and it shows. I have also used the gunsmith services and they are top notch as well. I know working in a gun shop, you get a lot of people who come in, even multiple times, to handle and get a feel for a gun prior to purchase. So they could very well get irritated at having to pull out so many to show, but I never get that feeling. I would like to say thank you to everyone there, you guys truly are terrific. Room for improvement: One area I really do hope they look at overall is pricing. There are a multitude of shops within 30 minutes of our area that have the same products/services for less than this location. This includes ammo prices, accessories like cases/sights, firearm transfer fees(way too expensive) and charging for a background check on a purchase even though this last one is only 5 dollars. I am not sure why there is a charge for the background check since its a necessary part of a purchase but I have never paid for that at any of the other shops. The background checks are basically instantaneous from what I understand doing private sale checks, so I am not sure why this is done. I could understand if the sale was denied for loss of time, but an additional charge doesnt sit well with me and will play a part in the next purchase decision as well. I love to shop local, but for certain items, the cost difference is too great. I wanted to buy 380 fmj for range use but it was 19.95 per 50 (0.399 per round, ouch). I purchased the same 380 for 14.99 per 50 (0.2998 per round, much cheaper elsewhere). If you are buying 500 rounds you are talking a difference of 50 dollars. If second amendment can bring some of these prices more in line with the surrounding competition, I would be an even more frequent customer. In summary this is a great location. They have a wide selection to choose from, offer numerous types of classes(excellent instructors), have date night specials, have a modern clean range, and have employees who are pleasant and knowledgeable. New store, nice and clean, spacious, friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Clean, new, high tech, well ventilated shooting ranges. Not the closest store to my house, but I keep going back because of the positive experiences I have had there. From the very first time I have been there I was treated like a valued customer. I will keep going back! Highly recommended. This store also has a bunch of classes, range memberships, lots of gear/accessories in stock and at reasonable prices. Those of you who know this industry can probably guess the other store I am talking about but I went to buy an accessory at this other store (before I heard about second amendment sports) and was about to buy this 85 dollar part. Luckily for me they didnt have the "spec" I needed and so I didnt buy it. I went to second amendment a few days later and not only did they have it in stock, but it was 60 bucks... Lots of online retailers also had this part for 60 bucks. So I am happy I got a good price and I could support a brick and mortar store. But Im still confused why the other place charged 25 dollars more... Side Note: Not sure why some people wrote one star reviews when they live 2000 miles away... maybe they meant different 2nd Amendment Stores located on the west coast.

Tried to rip me off so badly on a glock gen 4. Should only have been 535 but tried charging 615 instead. Not only that when I questioned the price because every other gun shop around was on average 70 dollars cheaper for exact same gun. So he said he would take money off of my trade in and give me the Glock for the 535 amount but wanted to lower the money my trade in was worth. So I thought trade ins were based off of condition not off of what Im paying for the new gun. Now the BIGGEST blunder of all which completely shocked me! They didnt run my background check because they werent sure I was going to go through with the deal. So instead of making me wait another waiting period for a handgun the OWNER let me walk out with the Glock gen 4 in hand no background check what so ever on file. Told me hed treat me right because I was a veteran and give me a veteran discount HA! More like try to bleed me dry and bend me over. Not only that but ammunition from this place is horrendously expensive almost double then what you can pick up from Walmart. I will never set foot in this store EVER again and I would suggest you dont even think about it either! RIP OFF!!

I have to give this place a 1. I recently conducted business with this store. I had some shotguns shipped from Seattle. When they arrived one of the stocks was broken. Not that big a deal as it can be fixed. I called and talked with one of the associates. He said no problem.let me look it up and I will get back to you in a little bit. NEVER heard back from them. So i called back in a week and talked with Larry. He understood the situation, took down my information and said that he would look it up and get back to me in a day or so. Over a week had went by and nothing. So in the end I called back. Larry told me to contact Mossburg to get a new stock he could not get one. All I wanted was for them to give me a written estimate to turn into the insurance company at Fed X. I nearly wasted a month of time waiting for them. What a joke. They should take gun smith off of there services. Sorry to have wasted there time on something that should have taken a couple of minutes . They just lost a good customer that was more than interested in buying some new hand guns for my wife and I. Never going back.

This place is hands down the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly gunshop you will ever experience. They have a large stock of firearms and gear and they do not sell garbage. If you are looking for a used firearm they make sure that it is in no less than perfect operation before putting it on the shelf. If they do not have what youre looking for, believe me they will get it. Im a very avid shooter and collector and I will never go anywhere else. This is my place. They will happily go out of their way if necessary, to make sure that you as a customer are 100% happy and satisfied. The owner Bert is extremely knowledgeable to say the least and so is the staff that he hires. They will make sure that you walk out of there with exactly what you want and need for an extremely fair price. The range is BEAST and the store is very clean and welcoming. The many other gunshops Ive been to over the years should really take notes. Ill be a life long customer. 5 stars all day long. This review is not based off of a one time experience. I have been buying and trading here since the day they opened.
