Ive been visiting this location since I first moved to the area some time ago. Before, when it was Pagoda Pet Shop, and then about four years ago when it became Gills And Thrills. The bad reviews from four years ago, I believe are from when it was under new management from the transition from Pagoda to Gills. I wouldnt of rated it that low, but I can somewhat agree. At that point in time, this shop wasnt much. Fast forward to about a year from that point and then the new owner took over and began running a real pet shop. In reference to the review from bob kid: the owner that I know, is fair and other occasions, extremely generous. I also do believe that his business is customer oriented, Ive been their often enough to witness this. I suspect bob might be a difficult customer. As of now, and since the new owner (Brian) took over, Ive been coming here for all my feeders and other supplies that I have needed, usually once or twice a week. In addition to that, Ive bought quite a few, and given quite a few reptiles from this store. They continually offer variety of reptiles, some of the more common ones and some more coveted. They also do have a small variety of fish, but that is outside my field of knowledge (but not theirs!) I do believe they are planning on expanding that selection. Anyways, Gills and Thrills has a lot to offer and I can only imagine how much more awesome it will be in the future! I will keep visiting and referring this place to my friends and family for quite sometime!

The owner is very friendly sometimes Brian is busy and cant give every second to all his customers because he is tending to the animals he had always made time for me. The ammonia smell is from breeding feeder mice it is uncontrollable when breeding large amounts after all the store is full of reptiles and they have to eat. Brian has given me free stuff. Brian had given me 20% off when my son was born to help offset my expenses at home. He is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I was in the store the other day a customer was just in bought feeder fish. They died on the way home so he replaced them for free & gave extra for the inconvenience. Remember there is alot to care for animals & the cages are clean. His prices on feeders for reptiles are very responsible & live not frozen. Thanks for all your help Brian

I would strongly recommend Dr. Miriam Mcparland to anyone. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of the body. I came to her with very bad posture, poor digestion & high anxiety. She taught me what to eat to fix my issues I had & does not believe in using drugs to fix your issues. I had been having this issue with my digestion since I was a kid, been to several doctors, prescribed several medications over the years, now my digestion is normal by just changing my diet! I have not felt this happy & my physical overall health be this good since I was a kid. Thanks Dr. Mariam for being there for me. I am very proud to be a patient of yours! !

This place rocks! Very knowledgeable staff and reasonably-priced compared to PetCo or Petsmart. We recently bought a red tail boa from them. Shes lovely and is doing great. My husband just called to ask the guy when theyre open to and ask if they have a dozen live mice for him and the owner told him hell stay open for him till he gets there. How cool is that? I dont know of any pet store out there that will wait to close for their customers?

Excellent service and knowledge of all things reptile. Prices are very very reasonable. The staff are nice easy going people to talk to. Wonderful selection of reptiles and fish as well all accessories. I dont shop anywhere else for my pet.

Place reeks badly and the rats are kept in horrible conditions without water or food I USED to go in the back of the store to look for rats and it was horrible. You can open up bins of rats and you can find multiple dead ones.

Awesome shop, they always have a huge selection of reptiles available, plenty of supplies and feeders, and the prices are extremely fair. Also, Brian is very knowledgeable and helpful for any questions you may have.

Awful.. I feel bad for the reptiles :( the store had a OVER POWERING ammonia smell.... meaning they dont change out the beddings , or substrate... sad. But I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible! Dont bother going, smells of high ammonia burn your nose and this place just sucks! No fish and no selection of reptiles... waste of anyones time.
