The New Lenox grooming shop is horribly ran! I took my dog in today for grooming as I have taken him there several times before and I was told they wouldnt groom him. He is prone to matting as he does not shed and despite our best efforts to brush him he still forms mats. I was obviously not happy that we were turned away. My dog has been there several times so everything about my dog is in their system so when I called and made the appointment they should have asked questions and explained that they wont groom a dog with matting. I asked to speak to the actual store manager and she could very obviously see I was upset and she proceeded to laugh at me! Very unprofessional! PetCo should really train their employees to be a bit more professional! I will never shop there again or bring my dogs to be groomed there!

Just about everybody there knows my name. Very knowledgeable about fish. Staff is very friendly. Sure, sometimes the feeder fish might be small, or might not have certain fish or live reptile foods (rarely), but I know it is because of their wholesalers/vendors. They try very hard to keep everything in stock. I cant think of a single employee there that I wouldnt have over if I were to make a day grilling and relaxing outside. Has what I need 95% of the time for my cat, dog, and my fish (fresh & marine).

I came in the store last week and the store looked great ! Customer service is amazing here! The employes make this store look great! I hope everyone chooses to bring your pets here they are very welcoming! I got a new tank for my fish & Robert was a great help! After picking out everything for my new tank the cashier Jessica was very friendly and asked if my visit was ok, and I would recommend everyone to come & check this place out !

Went to buy some items for my fish, staff was nice but when i went to purchase some fish a staff member refused. Asked the cashier and she also refused once again... i liked the store before this but after my experience in the store today i definitely will not return or recommend this store to anyone...

This place has always been so great to help me find things for my 5 pound dog the other day I got another rescue dog 6 pounds and to my satisfaction they was ther to great me help me and even helped me to my car they are the best thank you for all you do

Had some issues with unfriendly staff but overall they have the stock of supplies I need for my pets. Could be improved with more helpful/better trained staff.

They close too early on Sunday, I was going to buy a hermit crab but they closed at 7:00 PM. It was 8:00 PM, usually they close at 9:00 PM.
