Let me start by saying Ive been a customer of the store for going on 7 years now. I have 3 kids and they like to go with and look at the guinea pigs and fish while Im shopping for our pet food. We go once a month and know pretty much the entire staff by now. My 2 year old likes to go to the store and will always grab one of the dog balls and bounce it while were shopping. Hes never broken anything, lost anything, or even had a close call. Hes 2 and well behaved, the bouncing is pretty limited, and it keeps him occupied and happy while I shop. The ball is always placed back in the basket at the end of our visit On my last visit, I noticed the basket of dog balls that my kid usually grabbed from disappeared as soon as we walked in.I thought maybe it was a coincidence. Today, it happened again. No coincidence. Seriously? A 2 year old bouncing a $.50 ball (that is never lost) is such a big deal that you have to run and hide the display when he comes in? I can only assume that if you have kids that are the least bit active, the bother of having them there outweighs their want for your business. I mentioned my complaint to the cashier on the way out and was told that they were sorry I felt that way, and that they do want my business. Not sorry for having done it of course, just sorry that I noticed. I prefer to shop local when and where I can, but will probably not return to a place that has such a distaste for kids.

I want to like this place...they are local and carry the brand of food I like, but after several visits I cant bring myself to go back. The customer service is HORRIBLE! no one is friendly, no one offers help and last time I was in the man, who I assume to be a manager or owner, basically laughed in my face/made fun of me when I questioned a price on a bag of dog food (umm Im sorry my total seemed higher than normal, its ok for me to make sure something didnt happen...its also ok for me to be wrong!) . You can get the same food/stuff at the same price elsewhere...worth the drive to Feed Bag or Pet Outpost MUCH better service!

Each time I go, I hope it will be better than it is, but always leave disappointed. The interior ambiance is extremely dull and the customer service is just as bad. The staff dont seem happy or friendly and make little attempt to engage in polite, good-humored small talk (one of the reasons I find it enjoyable to shop at local retailers). The only reason they are getting two stars from me is because they have a good selection of food and they have helped carry my bags out several times.

These guys are great. My wife and I got our first puppy and they were very helpful in getting us what we need, as well as offering some free, much-appreciated advice. They encouraged us to bring her into the store, which we do now occasionally. Shes a little hyperactive still, but they put up with her with a smile. All of the products weve purchased there (food, toys, enclosures, etc.) have been solid. No complaints.

I find the owners and the workers incredibly helpful and insight. I recently landscaped and updated my yard to give it more curb appeal. I am putting it up for sale. I told them what I was looking to do and not wanting to go overboard on cost. They worked with me, within my budget and everything turned out beautifully. I would recommend them to anybody. Very Very Happy.

We love this store and the fact that it has been a presence in the neighborhood for so many years. The employees are friendly, the service is personalized, and its a pleasant shopping experience overall. We buy our pet supplies and bird seed here, and we shop the plants and seasonal garden shop too. Its conveniently located with off-street parking.

Well they have wonderful products, but WATCH out for their hours. They claim to stay open until 7 PM, but you better call first before trapsing over there. Known to just CLOSE early. Really bad customer service from one local business ower to another.

Staff always offers to carry my bag of dog food to the car. Theyre always so friendly and helpful! I moved from being 5 minutes away to 20 min and I make the trip back every month still for their service.

Only store near me that carries chinchilla supplys, but when me and family goes we get followed around alit. I feel very uncomfortable in there. They make me feel like im doing something wrong.

Had so much fun making Japanese Kokedama tonight. Classes are educational and are free or cost of supplies. Enjoyed all the little diddies: terrariums, air plants, and decor this store carries.
