I have been a loyal customer of the Petco in Brookfield for over 20 years. Last month I scheduled a field trip for my preschool class to visit Petco this month in connection with some of our classroom activities. The students were very excited about the trip. I called the store the day before our scheduled trip to confirm our tour time and let them know how many students to expect. I was told that we could not visit because they were too busy with upper level management visiting the store that day. They also said that no other Petco stores in the area could do a trip on that day because they would all be too busy with management visits. They did not bother to ask my name or the name of my school, or when I had called to schedule the trip. I was told that the managers there are very good about writing things down and they had no record of our scheduled visit. Parents of my students had set aside time in their schedules to be drivers and chaperons for this trip and I feel we were treated very poorly! Due to this experience and poor treatment, Petco has lost a loyal customer in me. I will be looking for other places to buy supplies for my family pets. I would not recommend ever scheduling a field trip with this store.

Employees are rude and management is lazy. I called in to see if they had a product because online it says that they only have this product in stores. They did not have it in stock so I had asked the employee to check the other locations. She said she had to go ask her manager and had an attitude like it was a waste of her time. She came back to the phone saying they do not carry those in stores. I asked did your manager check and she said no he said they will only have those online. I then told her that it says online that is an in store only item. She said "well my manager said we dont carry them in stores so you need to go buy it online. Of course I am not going to go buy it online after the rude service I will bring my business else where from now on.

Been shopping here for years. I go here for all my pets needs. They are very good about keeping their animals in good condition. They even did me a great favor when I broke my foot. I called ahead in need of cat food and they were kind enough to bring the food to the counter for me and hold it until I got there. Than after I made my purchase they brought out the food to my car. I loved going to petco before that incident and love it even better now. Very kind and friendly service plus they know me and my dog by name despite the fact we only go in about once a month.

They take very poor care of their pets there. Many dead bettas and a lot that were close to it. Water not changed, it was sad to watch. Originally went in to get clippers for our rabbit, couldnt in good conscience purchase anything from there considering how the poets are treated there. Even saw a mouse with the syndrome where their head stays tilted. This place should be closed down in my opinion

Associates were helpful at first with our new puppy, but after they wouldnt stop talking to us and promoting the associates brand of dog food I started to think they were rude. The cashier yelled at my boyfriend for tugging on my dogs leash because she was trying to eat whatever was on the floor and acted like we were stupid. I didnt appreciate her talking down to us at all. Will never go back.

After bad experiences with the Petsmart across the street and the local Petworld Im actually impressed with this store. Ive had only positive interactions with employees, the animals Im familiar with are mostly healthy and they take good care of non-fish animals that are injured in their care. They might have been bad in the passed, but as of this review theyre my current favorite pet store.

We have taken our dogs to their self service twice, and its a great value to us. Clean facilities, easy to use wash bays, and they provide pretty much everything. Ill admit we dont buy all of our pet supplies from them for our dog here, but the grooming facilities are worth the visit. The staff has been very good with us and any questions we have ever had.

We had a wonderful experience with Adam, our dog trainer, who taught us a lot of helpful techniques that are already paying off (and impressing our friends). I would recommend Petcos dog training to anyone.

I went there and found a store full of associates with answers to all my questions. including dog training tips. It was a great experience and i will be sure to come back again very soon.

Terrible customer service, after waiting at the cash register for 5 minutes someone finally came and the card reader didnt work and they wont enter it manually
