DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!!! THEY GAVE OUR DOG FLEAS!!!! We had a horrifying experience here!!! Not only was the staff extremely unprofessional, they did not mention that your dog will assuredly get fleas!! They took over four hours to "clean" her, when we picked her up the woman there was so rough with this poodle, the dog yelled in pain when she was giving him an uneven, painful buzz cut. We are insanely upset with Petsmart!!!! We have had to spend all night washing all our clothes and bedding because of you people!!!! We are NEVER, EVER going back to any Petsmart again!!!! DO NOT GO HERE, PLEASE!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR DOG THE PAIN AND YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!

If you are going in for a groom- BEWARE! You need to know what the backroom looks like.... your dog is washed back to back with tens of other dogs they bring in, then crated and scared to death! They treat grooms like a cattle call, there is a reason the wash area is hidden from view. I have first hand knowledge of this. Go to a reputable place where the dogs are in plain site of the customers and where the groomers are FRIENDLY and do not overcharge you and under deliver! I thought they fired the older lady groomer from another local place, and am very disappointed to see her working at this location now.

Our daughter earned another goldfish after doing a great job with the one she got at a fair. She was excited to get a friend for her goldfish. We should have known better when we walked into this Petsmart and saw that many of the goldfish in the tanks were dead, and floating around with the live ones. I decided that perhaps we could rescue one of the goldfish from this awful place. We brought the goldfish home and before even 24 hours had passed she was dead. My daughter is devastated. Avoid this place.

as I was shopping @ the PetSmart Downers Grove, IL store for dog food, I couldnt help but notice one of the groomers who had been brushing a small grey terrier-like dog, pretty rough, pulling through the hair on its snout, and the dog apparently crying in pain - only to have the groomer grasp her hand around the small dogs muzzle, closing it to continue the process with the dog whimpering. Notified the store, and left. Will not have an animal groomed here.

I got my shitzu groomed for the first and last time!!!horrible service the groomer i got had no good customer service qualities at all..she didnt look happy to be there and all the other groomers were not very friendly either..they dnt explain ur options at all when it comes to ur dogs care..definetly not taking my dog there again im going back to where my dog felt very comfortable with and the groomer was very welcoming Petco..i learned my lesson

Of all the pet stores Ive patronized I have found this staff to be the most helpful. They have a very pro-active management team. I was helped by Jason when I purchased my puppy. He helped get me ready to adopt him from my breeder by showing me what I needed, but how I could save money doing it. They have a regular supply of everything I needed, and were very helpful. So, I drive out of my way to come to this location. Its worth it.

Ive been getting my small mixed breed hair monster of a dog groomed by Lindsay for about 6 mos now. I have never been disappointed. She does a great job every time. She understands what I want almost without me having to say a word. I love scruffy and she gets it. She doesnt try and do anything fancy to impress others, just does a great job grooming Edgrrr. Thank you Lindsay for your great work!

I like this location.. we used to go to the schaumburg one and had our dog treated at Banfield but Dr. Sanders at this location is by far the best veterinarian in the area!!! The employees are extremely helpful and its located in a great area with exceptional parking. They take great care of your pets and are happy to help... glad we found this spot!

The lady that was in charge of the dog adoption center was extremely rude and not helpful at all. My family and I came in looking to adopt a beaufuil dog and we were greeted by the worse customer service we ever experienced instead. I would never recommend adopting from this location unless you want to leave upset and ruin the rest of your day.

Made an appointment and then changed it but the lady was rude when i talked on the phone and never changed the appointment. So i called the day of the new appointment and a different lady answers and i ask about the new appointment i made and she said it was never changed and then hung up on me.

Good Location and helpful staff. I always watch for sales and then make sure to have a coupon and that helps with the cost of dog and cat food. They do an amazing sale of kitty litter day after thanksgiving so I stock up then and they dont think I am crazy.

This store has the worst possible customer service Ive by far seen. I went in to buy fish, and I have a 125 gallon tank and they wouldnt sell me 4 some oscars, it was a lady that was "helping" me and she has blonde hair..

I dont know what is wrong with these people but "just force feed him" is NOT good advice for transitioning a snake from mice to rats. This is why I dont normally go here for mice. They dont know anything about reptiles.

Every time I go there I am greeted by the cashier with a Welcome to Petsmart, every one is very friendly and helpful. I take my dog to your store for his shots, again very friendly.

Walked in to adopt a cat, and I was told no because I have kids. Then the lady told me it would be better for us to get a dog. I am very disappointed with this petsmart.
