Pet Supplies Plus is THE BEST! Unlike other competitor pet stores, the employees want to help. You dont ever feel like you are bothering them. The employees are also knowledgeable. They are not biased on products and provide feedback on everything. Craig the store manager is the greatest! He does not fit the high-power manager stereotype of hiding in the back. He is always on the floor, always engaging with customers, and always SO helpful! He has a Saint Bernard and so do we, so we chat often. He even recommended we switch to Redford food for our Saint Bernard since his Saint loves it. Although Redford is a Pet Supplies Plus brand, he allowed us to discuss other food options as well. My Saint Bernard never was big on food, but she gobbles down Redford as fast as she can. The grooming area and self-grooming is wonderful. They price match too! I cant say enough good things about Pet Supplies Plus in Gurnee!

Brought my dog here for grooming after bad experience elsewhere. Groomers were SOOO nice, I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care. Love the selection of bones and treats, better prices and savings than at the pervious pet store I was shopping at! The employees are quick to service you in aisle, they havent ever had an attitude of any sorts. Cashiers are really nice and ask if they can give my dog a treat, which makes the whole experience warm and inviting.

I go to this store because they are the only ones that carry my brand of food for rabbit. The customer service is horrible you cant find anybody to help you, ever. Watch if you are buying something on sale because when you get to the register it is not. They put items in the wrong places under the sale tag price. It happened to me a couple of times. I did get the sale price though I had to fight.

The team was so helpful! My dog just ran out of her prescription food and they helped me pick something that would continue to manage her weight, but was much cheaper! They even offered to carry the 24lb bag out to my car...in the rain! This has quickly become my go to store for pet supplies.

One of the people running the register really just came off as kinda rude, when i think of psp I think of kind and heart warming employees but this girl with brown hair really just seemed like she really wasnt really that people oriented. I think I am going to stick with my local pets mart.

So many dead fish. I understand that a few fish may die, but they had been in there so long, they were decomposing. Two tanks of strictly dead fish, then a few tanks jammed full of fish, where you know the water quality/pH was not properly maintained. This is not how you treat a pet...

Professional & courteous staff!! The best customer service Ive experienced in a long time. My dog food bag was carried out by an available employee and I was thrilled the store carried my preferred food (Merrick Limited Ingredients w/ Salmon). Thank you!

Clean inside, friendly staff... I was only in there a few minutes looking for rat food and bedding. Rodent (hamster/rat/rabbit/etc) mix was reasonably priced at under $2 a lb. Only one bag of lavender bedding though which was a shame.

Really a nice store with great service. Had a missing part on a cage we bought, they took it off a cage in the store and gave it to us, no questions asked. Manager seems to empower young employees to make decisions!

If they are going to sell fish, they really should take care of them. Dozens and dozens of dead fish. I would recommend anywhere else if youre looking for fish / fish products.

Cleaned 3 dirty dogs, was provided everything, towels, wash rags and shampoos.. Staff was awesome and helped me clean the pack. Very inexpensive. Absolutely going back.
