As Ace Hardware stores go this Ace at 4806 Grand is certainly yet another Ace with a "helpful hardware man" as the slogan suggests. In fact I personally witnessed such remarkable service on November tenth that I thought I would offer a compliment to her. Its nice to know that when a crafter such as I stops by Grand and Geneses to stage a photograph for the Veterans Day parade that an employee would take the time and leave her post to make her acquaintance. I didnt catch her name but I have a hunch that IT was Stacey Aniceta Auferstehung by her appearance and the fact that the Ace marquis was promoting a Queen Air Bed / Pump, just the ticket to inflate this gigantic forced perspective monument that Dad-a Veteran of the Air Force made for the Captain James A. Lovell Arts contest. Imagine to the augmented parade viewing audience an assembly of the five states in America that form a column bus totem tower. And for that international audience to gain insight to special logistical linguistics that simply is not available from higher education institutions as the discover process mentioned is not taught. It is however observed by various info tech admins who watch over the stream traffic. For instance for this celebration the aphaeretic language process yielded the term ACE from the name Stacey. Stacey means resurrection in Greek and Ace itself means unity. Now how cool of a piece of hardware for the lower jaw is that. So the parade viewers got some extra rich sandy candy this year which one could say is a sweet treat for the mind. And as far as word-smiting "tools" go I learned that this "Stacey resurrection" Veteran Tribute monument was - enatic and that is terminology that pertains to a descendant being from the same mother and that she bore a catena or connected series of text written by early theologians. Of importance to the architects that design and build various projects is the taenia, a fillet between a Doric architrave and frieze. And on that "sundial monument" I build with Dad of the states of Louisiana (foot), Arkansas (waist), Missouri, Iowa (head), Minnesota (cap), the taenia would be a "door frame" lintel beam that rests on the capitals of the column(s). And your guess is as good as mine as to how this plays out on the roadway map since decorations of achievement and various avenues exist in 1,301.6 miles of land. So kudos to Ace and the Veterans on Veterans Day and to all who read this review as well.

Unbelievably rotten service. When the "service rep" was asked about performing an advertised service, he mockingly laughed at me as he said "it is not our policy to do that". When I asked why not, he derisively replied "would you like to speak to the manager?". I asked if that would cause the store policy to change, he smirked "no, but thats your option". I guess that the store is doing so well they can mock and laugh at legitimate requests. He chuckled when I mentioned that my wife and I spend upwards of $5000 per year in that store and would never purchase there again as a result. His comment? "Oh, well." My complaint is specifically regarding his delight in being able to tell me no and laugh at me in my face.

I must come in on days when the customer service staff has taken their crabby pills. I have found most of the staff to be extremely unfriendly and rude, the en more so than the women. But both need refresher courses in customer service. Im convinced the men really dont want to sell anything.

I recently received great service. I was helped by two workers in the hardware section. They were knowledgeable of the metric bolt sizes that I needed and helped me find an alternative to what I was looking for.
