This hardware store is very customer-oriented and leaves a pleasant experience. I have found it well-stocked (I needed an assortment of screws and nuts and knobs for a linen closet, and other items for fixing things around the house). The sales person came to help me as soon as he saw me and the cashier at the door gave me directions to the item clearly.

Great neighborhood service. Today one of their long term associates (Joe) helped me save $250 by replacing a switch on my old Stevens sump pump vs having to buy a new pump. Thats the type of support thats so rare in these days of big-box disposable merchandising. Felt like I had gone back in time! Kudos to Zimmermans!!

Called and asked if "White Gorilla Glue" was in stock. Joe said "yes". Drove over, was pointed to aisle 21, saw White Wood Glue, asked the associate to find Joe. His answer thats the glue". Not. Should have spend 2 more minutes traveling to Home Depot.

Always a great experience! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and has almost everything you need for a home project. Prices comparable to the Home Depot and Menards but smaller selection. If its a rarer item, call ahead to make sure it is in stock.

This place has a decent selection and good service, like most True Values. And I dont know where google gets their information from, but I was just there today and they are DEFINITELY not closed.
