This location has a racist and hostile employees and management that support his behavior. Yelp forces me to give them a rating of one star but Id give it zero if it allowed me. They have a lazy, hostile, racist employee, named Marty, that works in the tool rental department. He was already annoyed because my parents asked for his help and that meant he had to get out of his chair that he was sitting on the whole time. Marty didnt even try to help my parents and when my father told him he was of no help then he became belligerent was screaming at my father in a threatening manner and he at some point asked my Mexican father if he "had his green card." The manager Mike Cadry, didnt even bother to hear my fathers side of the story and very politely asked my 60 year old parents to leave by asking them to step outside to talk. He didnt even do anything about his racist and belligerent employee. He was still on the floor when I called the tool rental department a couple of hours after. It shows that as long as your clientele is over 90% Caucasian, then the concerns of minorities are of no concern to this location.

This is MY Home Depot (no Im not an employee). My go-to store when I need just about anything. The store itself is clean bright, well stocked. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to know when you need help and when to leave you alone....I like that. The kitchen design team is top notch (Ive done 4 with them). Service desk is always helpful, rental area is great, garden area is great, no complaints. The only negative I would mention is, they should have the 11% off sales like Menards has. Home Depot will match the 11% off, but you have to know to ask the cashier for it. Everyone should get the discount, not just the customers who know they need to ask for it. Keep up the good work LZ HD!

I went in with a simple problem about hanging a picture frame. I could describe what my problem was and what I needed, but the woman who helped me had absolutely no knowledge about how to assist me. She treated me like an idiot, when she was supposed to be putting two and two together. It seemed like a complete reluctance to do her job, and I left completely flabbergasted. This woman was a complete charity hire and should really be working at Walmart. It was a simple problem with an obvious solution: How to hang a collage picture frame that has no hooks on the back. She should really be fired. Im not an angry person, Im just so put out by this experience.

I had the worse experience at the paint department today trying to get a metallic painting. The person in the paint departament started yelling on me because " my mistake " i opened a spray ...guy ran yelling from the other side . And started a diacussion in front other clients. Feel like the little kid a 53 years old .please train your customer service people...going to Menards or Lowes...wasted 1 hour of my morning. Reading other comments I have to agreed is not a conclusion is what it is a Racists store, employees, and managment.

Horrible customer service and very poor management! We are a local business and in any business there will be returns. The return credit we have is being denied because a different employee had made the return! Omg! Really? We will be boycotting hd from now on till management addresses this and does something about it! We will also be telling all our local customers and competitive businesses!

Extremely rude service desk. Stood at the key machine waiting to be helped and was completly ignored by multiple workers (while two chatted amongst themselves) Had to ask more than once to be helped (after the man standing Behind us was helped with his keys first.) My dad is a contractor and shops here often, but Will be taking buisness elsewhere from now on. Horrible service

Alright I just wanna start off by saying that their phone service is awful. I called and entered the numbers to get to the line i was trying to connect to and i was waiting for 17:54 seconds before I hung up. I called again and was told to stop calling. Their service over the phone is terrible but the in store service is great.

I love my home depot, everyone is willing and ready to help....and they know where even the most random small items are located, I have completed several projects on my own or through their services departments for my house and the follow up is amazing! Lost my receipt a few times and had no issues with returns.

We just finished a basement in Palatine IL. We came to this Home Depot everyday for a month straight. The girls at the service dest are great, and the pro dest pulled our materials the night before.
