I went in looking for a refrigerator...and left with a mind blowing experience that changed the way I see customer service, salesman ship, and southern hospitality. I also bought a fridge. I walked into the store, unsure what I was looking for. All I knew is it needed to be box shaped, kept things cold and/or frozen, and preferably in a dark color. Not necessarily black...but I preferred it dark in color...like black or so dark blue it looks like night (black). The store was brightly lit, as if the sun was above me, but inside the building and split apart into many little suns in light bulb shapes. As I walked in the store was busy, but not so busy that I was ignored. Immediately, a sales representative greeted me and complimented my eye patch and green hair. I knew I was in for a treat. After explaining my appliance demands, the salesman sprang into action like Batman. If Batman wore a blue button up, wore glasses, and lived off commission. He showed me three different long rectangles in various shades of black and explained what each would bring to my life. One was too dark, one too light, and one was just right. I then explained that I was new to the area and was looking for essentials. Nothing too flashy but nothing shabby either. This salesman, who should stand above all others...who should stand on the shoulders of giants...then told me all about the area. He told me the best places to meet people and where to find jobs. He even told of a place in Atlanta where I could get custom eye patches! By the end I was so flustered with his generosity that I wanted to see him again...outside of his working hours. As I finished my payment and he walked me out of the store I hinted that I wanted to see him again so I left him a wink. Unfortunately I winked with my one good eye so it probably appeared as a blink.

I found an open box special for a Whirlpool dryer online so I traveled to the store to check it out. My salesperson, Brianna was very helpful, however that is about the only good thing I can say about this experience. Although the appliance I was interested in was still listed as available on the website, no one could locate the actual dryer in the store. I traveled a long distance to go to the store so I was disappointed. Since it had taken so long to get there, I decided to look at their inventory to find another dryer and to look at other appliances since I will be replacing my kitchen appliances with stainless steel ones soon. Upon browsing, I found the appliances were in pretty horrible cosmetic condition. I understand that many are open box and warranty repair appliances, but overall the appliances were in pretty bad shape appearance wise. The few that were in good condition were not priced at enough of a discount that I would consider buying from there. I ended up getting just as good a price on the dryer I wanted on an open box special at the Best Buy near me. Based on what I saw at this store I do not think I will ever return again no matter how good of a deal it seems to be online. I honestly would be more comfortable buying a used appliance on craigslist than anything from this store.

BEWARE!! NOT DISCOUNTED PRICES!!! I purchased a refurbished Samsung Washer with scratches and dents under the impression that I was getting an "outlet" price. NO!!! That was no the case.. DO NOT buy from Sears Outlet store!! I found the exact same unit at a Sears store and multiple other appliance stores at a cheaper price! I called the store (2 hrs after my purchase) thinking they would adjust the price, NO!! They did nothing to help or assist with the situation. They have no corporate office to call or anyone on a upper level management to speak with to get any answers or help with anything, So, in part I am stuck with a washer that I presumed I was buying at an "outlet price" which in return WAS NOT and no manufacturers warranty that I paid more than actual store retail price for.. i am even more unsatisfied with the fact that as the consumer I could not get anything achieved from my issue other than "Oh well, your outta luck," and the feeling of being robbed!.. So Please check and make sure youre not paying the same price for a brand new item!!!

This store has provided BY FAR the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. If you are planning on purchasing anything from this store DO NOT DO IT! Run away as fast as you can. I purchased a high end range in October. I still do not have it and it is mid-December. I cant even call the store as their phones dont work. I have been an extremely loyal Sears customer. Until now. I will make it my mission to dissuade ANYONE interested purchasing anything from Sears. Tim, the manager, has lied to me time after time regarding this purchase. He has promised me it will be delivered and after 3 delivery dates (all of which I was at home waiting) it has still not been delivered. He promised he would "personally see to it that my oven made it on the truck". He wasnt even in the store that day. I have worked in the service industry for my entire adult life as an hourly employee, manager, supervisor and director. This is absolutely NOT acceptable. Stay away from this store.

Horrible, I ordered a refrigerator Wed Aug 30, 2017 set up for delivery Thurs Aug 31, 2017 20 min after leaving the store I received a call that Thurs slots were full I would have to wait until Sun I refused spoke to the manager and we were set for Thurs....so I thought Thursday comes no show! I call they say the truck broke down (not my problem nor do I care) but why did they not call to inform me? Customer service is horrible. So Friday I go in because once again no refrigerator Friday spoke with James he refunded delivery and said it would be here Sunday and that their delivery services hasnt been making deliveries and peoples items are missing. Here we are Sunday Sept 3, 2017 no refrigerator!!!! I call and they say my delivery was cancelled (When the delivery fee was refunded) so now the truck has picked up todays deliveries and I will have to schedule another day. Im getting a refund and I WILL NEVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

The online site said they had a dryer i wanted. called to verify availability of item, and was placed on hold and hung up on three times. finally was told item was in stock. placed order on line. started on my 1 hour 45 minute drive to get there. got halfway there and received a cancelation email for item being out of stock. called to find out what happened and got put on hold again, sitting on side of interstate for 30 minutes. got disconnected. was told computers were acting up after calling back. requested immediate release of my money, was told that bank may still hold for a few days. called back with instructions from bank to get money released. sales attendant kept interrupting me as i was trying to give instructions. all persons were extremely unhelpful and rude. will never use this outlet again.
