I wish I could give it -5 stars. I have had no problems when just shopping, except for the last time, when the young lady acted like I was bothering her when asking a question. But the grooming area??AWFUL!!! I walked in the grooming area, spur of the moment, to see if they could take my little dog. It was around 1:30 and they said the only available appointment was at 3pm. So I made the appointment and left my dog. I came back at 3:40, and the young lady that was suppose to be taking care of my dog was walking in as well. I am guessing she went to lunch. They hadnt even done anything at all to my dog. This young lady, Pickle, comment, "well, I had to work her in", and yet, I made an appointment that they said was available. I told them to just give me the dog. Why would you commit to doing your job at a certain time and then leave and not take care of it? She should have never told me she would do it and she didnt even apologize. I should have known when I walked in that something was not right. All the groomers were laughing and talking with each other, so loudly, they could not even hear when they were asked a questions. Very unprofessional. They were turning to talk to others while trying to groom the dogs and I thought to myself then that they do not give a hoot about the dogs or the customers. The first time I used the services, I was happy, the second time, I agreed to allow students to groom my dog and it was horrific, but, since I allowed it, I left it alone. This third time sealed it for me. I will NOT ever take my pets to that store again. Going to order my dog food online and just say good bye to PetSmart completely.

Every time I take my miniature schnauzer here they cut all his coat off and claim "he was matted". I comb and brush my dog everyday to ensure his coat grows long and silky like a true schnauzer. I give them one more chance. My parents pick him up for me yesterday and come to find something that looks like a rat, a true rat. I come to find once again his skirt (that took weeks and weeks of combing and brushing to get even a little length) all cut off! Claiming he was matted, with only little to no hair still. How can I grow his skirt if they just keep cutting it off! Then on top of that they cut off all his BEARD!!!!! They use all these excuses on why they cut him all off because they are lazy human beings who do not care about their jobs. This is the McDonalds of grooming salons. Then make you pay full price for that half butt job they call a haircut. We were a loyal customer to the ones in VA and they were awesome, I think it is just this pet smart. The store itself is decent. But just know I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Id like to point out a few things nicely. This location does not have a pets hotel, it is not a boarding place. That said corporate does not permit us to take the dogs for walks or to give them food when left for services. It is expected that pet parents will not level their pets all day long. Also sometimes vets take a long time to actually give us rabies info over the phone thats why we ask pet parents to bring in their shot records. There are times that dogs come in and we hope to be able to groom them but when they get on the table we discover the dog is not prepared for grooming often biting, wiggling to a point that grooming could be hazardous without mild sedation which we cannot use or take a dog that is. We ask 3-4 hours for every appointment. If you drop off an hour and a half before your appointment its still not likely to begin til the appointment time due to the fact we were fully booked leading to that time. Trust that we love lets and pet parents and want both to have a good and safe experience.

I took my dog to be groomed. First, I had called and made an appointment and asked the price. I specified that he needed a bath and his nails clipped, that was all. When I dropped him off, I confirmed the price. When I when back to get him, they charged me twice as much as the quoted price because they had tacked on all kinds of services that I had not agreed to. Basically, I had to pay the full price they asked or not get my dog. When I got him, I realized that among other things they had clipped off all the feathering (legs and belly) that is a natural and beautiful part of his coat, and it looked like they gave him an all-over clip. He was not matted or in bad shape in any way, just needed a bath, and I got held up for all kinds of extras. I called the store the next day and talked to an assistant manager who assured me she would discuss it with the manager and they would make it right. I never heard back from either of them. The store is OK overall, but I will never use their groomers again.

Recently went up there to visit my friend, since she was denied a lunch break to bring her something to drink. Stopped by for a few minutes and the assistant manager came in throwing the door open, cutting up and cussing up a storm with a groomer that was working at the time, then had the assistant manager sit in front of me and stare at me until I left ( keep in mind it was a hour before closing and they were not busy nor did they have any dogs) after I left the assistant manager told my wife that I was not allowed up there again while shes on the clock ( i could understand if i was distracting her from work but I wasnt, since the groomer was on a personal phone call) ......I didnt care for petsmart to begin with, but because of that and other things I will never step foot into a another petsmart again. Horrible management whose rude and obviously doesnt care about whose a customer or just visiting. Glad I didnt spend any money while I was there!

I do NOT like this grooming salon. They did NOT do a proper job. I asked for a puppy cut on my yorkie, didnt even look like she had been trimmed at all. When I asked to have her hair recut (around her face), I was given an attitude. This was I Only One of the problems. I do intend to call & make a complaint. I will be expecting a refund, I do NOT intend to make my baby suffer at the hands of these people again. I dont know what they did to her but, when they went to get her & bring her out, I heard her cry. I havent found any bruises or cuts on her [yet] but, IF I do, there will be hell to pay!!! Ive also heard from other people while there that there babies had been cut too. Yall can keep taking your baby there but, I Love mine too much to do so again. Its sad too, cause this grooming salon is the only one Ive had problems with, wondering why?????? I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this location for grooming OR vet services !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
