I think the people who call this place "overpriced" are confusing "overpriced" with "more expensive." Is grain-free dog food "more expensive" than cheap garbage many people feed their dogs? Yes. But is it overpriced? Not at all considering you cant find a lower price on grain-free dog food at PetCo or even Publix. Plus, we are supporting the neighborhood and small business. BMWs cost more than Dodges. Does that meant that BMWs are overpriced? No, it just means they are better. Yes you may pay more for food here than for cheap garbage somewhere else, but you get what you pay for... and its worth it.

My dog would give this place 5 stars for sure, he loves it here and will pull me towards if when were out on a walk. The people here are very nice and helpful and their selection of high quality foods is fantastic. However, their prices are very high. I do like to support local businesses, but cant afford to do all my dog shopping here. Their sweater selection is fantastic and they had a great selection of Halloween costumes as well - I was very impressed given the size of the store. All in all, a great place, but pricey.

This store has toys and more for dogs and cats that I have never seen anywhere else. One toy we bought for our cat that was a big hit was found online for four to seven times the price found here. Plus, the clerks are helpful without being intrusive. They also carry the more esoteric lines of dog and cat food if you have a special diet for your cat or dog. Free Hershey kisses on the counter the days Ive been there - reason alone to go back.

COMPASSIONATE SERVICE- 4 a dog in need of help yesterday, I called IPPW for their assistance. They were helpful and did a great favor for us (newcomers to Doglanta) as first time customers who showed up at closing and responded with compassion. THATS something you will never find at corporate pet stores (no robots here) . Bella the dog and her human pack are grateful and will return during normal business hours! SHOP LOCAL

We absolutely love this pet supply store. We only treat our pets with the best quality food and this is one of the best places in Atlanta to find it. The staff is extremely helpful and seem to be genuinely interested in the well-being of our animals. Prices are moderate and the selection is great! Our pet sitters highly recommend.

Im so surprised to see these negative reviews. My husband and I have been buying cat food here for years, and have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Theyve ordered items for us when they werrent in stock and their prices on cat food are competitive with other small, neighborhood pet stores.

Nice selection, helpful staff. Stocks more pricey, high-quality items and prices for dog food are ever so slightly higher than say Pet Supermarket. But they sell six-pack bully sticks for a price that cant be beat; within walking distance to the Belt Line, etc. Will continue to shop here.

Really enjoy this place. I went in not knowing a thing about the doggy I just rescued, and Kelly helped me thoroughly. She pointed me in the right direction for economic food and let me know of their other services and return policys, which are also very fair and consumer friendly.

Best pet store in Atlanta. I drive past a lot of pet stores to get to this one. They have extensive knowledge on their products and always have great recommendations. They dont try to push a higher priced item like some places. They understand animal nutrition better than my vet.

They advertise as a pet grooming store but THEY DO NOT GROOM. Me and my pup stopped by on our walk one day and the staff wasnt very amused to have customers. I guess Ill keep going to the highlands for my pets grooming and food needs.

Does not carry blue buffalo. Bones are very overpriced and as a repeat customer Ive rarely had a friendly encounter when shopping there. Prefer the Krog market pet store and the same treats are for less and very friendly service.

The negative reviews have got to be fake. Ive been going since this store opened and theyve always had great customer service. Ive noticed rude customers but never the staff. Cant recommend enough.
