Worst possible service!!! If just purchasing shelf items, youre good. If buying animals, youll wait a lengthy time for assistance, unless you go get a cashier at the front. Even then, you may get told theyre working on something else, so itll be a while. It doesnt matter if youre the only customer in the whole place! Ive never seen anything like that. Before youre allowed to buy saltwater fish, one associate requires that you answer a set of questions, to determine if youre an idiot who is buying saltwater fish to go in a bowl or even know the difference between fresh and saltwater fish-because "youll be surprised how many people do that." If you get a fish, be prepared to treat him for ich. At checkout, we always have to offer that were rewards members. Never asked. I wish there was another option nearby. Can you tell?

Grooming asked me for proof of vaccinations which I prvovided in a folder, when they gave it back some of the papers were missing. She carelessly left them out mixed with the other papers on the messy desk. The groomer cut my dogs nails too low and caused him to bleed. The worst part is she didnt even bother to tell me, I noticed when I saw all the blood on my car seats. I received a call from them about four hours after I left with my dogs to pick up someone elses dog. The level of service has really declined over the years. Take your pet somewhere else.

Please dont even bother wasting your time with going to this dump of a pet store. The smell was horrendous and the customer stinks as well. Went by to pick up rabbit food. When I didnt see the brand that I normally purchase at other pet stores, I was told by the clerk Bonita we dont sell rabbits. " lady Im not asking about a rabbit Im asking about rabbit food. She didnt care to go back to show me where the products were kept. She also kept her sunshades on the whole time. Who works in customer service with sunshades on... shaking my head.

Yorkie cut is a shave. Skin visible on back. Whiskers cut off. Scratching after grooming. Wasnt scratching going in. Got appropriate/usual package. New/different groomer. Inquiry got a terse "did you treat your house ?" . Informed her he started scratching on the way home. Got another terse "did you treat your car? Patience gone. Asked for manager. Sent pictures of shaved pet. Manager helpful: different groomers different styles, scratching may be irritation, didnt see fleas or ticks.

I heard the cashier telling a customer in front of me that canned food would make their dog fat and it was only for puppies and old dogs. Should probably sharpen up your nutrition training! I have been in the store 3 times and have never been greeted or asked if I needed assistance/anything. Ive had my dogs with me each time as well, no greetings or interactions with them. A little disappointed, Petco. These are not your standards.

Every time we come here, we receive excellent service. The customer service workers are really well informed and helpful, and deserve to paid far more than Im sure they are. The woman that served us at the Lithonia, Georgia location at Stonecrest, with light pink hair, was really awesome! Thank you, we really appreciate you... Especially our pittie, Lady.

Sometimes it has what you want, sometimes it doesnt. Has a grooming station, dog/cat vaccinations, and dog adoptions on Saturdays. PetSmart in conyers has a better selection of fish. Beware that most products here can be had cheaper on the internet. Very nice "dollar a gallon" fish tank sales though.

Rude and sarcastic dog trainer/ cashier (Bonita) . Always look at the expiration date of the pet food. Myself and husband had to bring it to the managers attention on more than one occasion. Id rather drive farther out or go to another pet store for better customer service.

They lost their best groomers. I just waited 7 hours for my dog only to find out that they lied to me on the phone as to why it was taking so long and they left him looking exactly as I brought him in. At least he got a bath. Never again. I do not recommend!

Their ferret cages were unlocked so we could pet them. Its nice but probably not the best idea. Great selection of well kept animals. Adorable little mice, awesome looking turtles, good selection of fish. And..... unfortunately.......gross....snakes.
