It pains me to write this review particularly because Ive met the owner numerous times over the last several years and found her genuinely attentive and friendly to everyone that walked through her business doors. Unfortunately I cant say this for a FEW individuals currently employed in her establishment. Ive got pretty thick skin and can ignore people and have ignored those employees who found it necessary to treat particular groups of people indifferent when shopping in this store. In this day and age treating people as though they should not have the privilege to "sit at the counter" so to say is getting old. However, condescending and sly comments I will not tolerate in reference to my skill, no less a skill that I paid money to learn in that establishment. As an educated woman my reasoning says to continue and ignore that too, but how many times can I visit this store and feel uncomfortable and uncertain about how I will be treated. By all means, if you shop there and have had no negative experiences then continue to enjoy. But Ive had far too many uncomfortable experiences there and life is too short to spend my money or time with shortsighted individuals. With that being said, I will no longer patronize this establishment nor refer anyone else there.

The moment I step through the door at Sarahs shop I feel happy. Greeted by all those fantastic Kaffe fabrics and sample quilts, I become inspired. Happily inspired, a pretty good combination. Luckily, the staff has the skill and knowledge to reign me in a bit and keep me on track with my project + they also help by double checking my fabric calculations. The store also has a wall of tools and accessories better than Ive seen anywhere.

I adore this shop! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and theres an amazing selection of the most current fabrics - the entire line of Kaffe Fassett, Anna Maria Horner, Denise Schmydt, Amy Butler, tons of great bright batiks, fun novelty prints and more! I always find what I need there - often more - and Sarah, the owner, will special order items and fabric. A trip to Intown Quilters is well worth the time. Youll love it!

I love this shop. The fabric selection is great, and they always have very high quality fabric. But even better is the friendly service. All of the people working there are experienced and friendly - they are always willing to listen to your ideas, help you find just the thing youre looking for, and they dont look down on the young and inexperienced sewers like a lot of other quilt shops Ive been in. This is a great place!

We couldnt find the exact fabric we were looking for here but they told us where else we might find it and thanks to those tips we ended up finding it. Just because of that help Id five them 5 stars but also we found many other fabrics here that we bought. Its a pretty big store.
