I bought a 2005 chevy cavalier from them on September 20, 2016 and did not received title until december 6, 2016. The car runs good with a minor check engine light issue, which i fixed personally since I bought it (as is). However, I think this dealership sells cars as a consignment (which means selling it for the real owner of the car in return of a money reward for selling the car at a price convenient for the seller, dealership and buyer),which they do not say anything about and neither does the paperwork. This explains why the dealership will not give the title to the buyer until the owner of the car gets his or her money and signs the title to the new owner. Another reason is that the dealership does own the car and has the title, but is using the strategy of getting the buyer frustrated and worried of not getting the title. This means the buyer will only think of getting the title and actually forget that they gave the dealership some money to register the car for them ( you will not be getting this money back). This actually happened to me. When I got my title, I told Don " arent you going to register my car" he told me "no". So I asked for my $220 back and he told me he did not have it at the time but will call me when he had the check. Until this day, I have not received my $220 back. They may have sold me a good running car, but the title issue negatively impacted my trust in them. If the vehicle was a consignment, all the dealership had to do was mention it in the paperwork, unless it is hiding something. Just keep on pressuring them, even if you have to barrow a phone from someone else just so they pick up the phone. Thats what i did. If you are not satisfied with the purchase, you can hire an attorney and get your money back even if you bought the car "as is". This is because they already violated georgia law which gives them 30 days to get the title (60 days at the most but with a fine). You can also have patience and wait and keep on pressuring them. BTW the 5 and 4 stars reviews you see here, are actually close friends of the dealership. No Wonder the dealership was highly rated, but not ANYMORE.

I purchased a vehicle for my daughter in early September and here it is late December and I have yet to receive my title...the tag office offered one extension for my temporary tags but said no more after that....so then the dreaded day the temporary tag expired...no more transportation for my 16 year old daughter...my daughter is now forced to catch Uber to and from school ...kinda scary...so Im on the phone the whole time on my work to school as an elementary school teacher...it just doesnt feel safe with her driving with a stranger but since I dont have another $3,000 to buy her another car it looks like Im stuck paying an Uber driver...my daughter has since lost her job as a baby sitter because she cant get to work without a vehicle..DON has given me the run around about my title since day one..he has told me stories from his title lady breaking her leg during a Halloween costume party...to he will call me right back, to the post office line was too long, to no execuses just disrespectful tones...its sad that I am now sueing ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE Sales because I now have spent $3,000 for a car and cant even drive it or risk going to jail...but they dont care at ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE SALES if my AFRICAN AMERICAN DAUGHTER goes to jail or not. I have spent a few hundred so far on insurance on a car that cant be driven, a few hundred for taxis or Ubers and not to mention how much my daughter has lost in job earnings. Whatever you do DONT buy a car from this ripe off joint. DON is a liar and will disrespect you over the phone without blinking! Then they will stop answering phones calls from your number. Then you have to play the change your voice game or block your number. Sad really I just wanted to buy my daughter a carnow Im stuck waiting on Judge Judy... DON OR THE OWNER OF ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE SALES be a man and call me to resolve this issue!!! Tonya J. Buyers Beware

I bought a 2001 Honda Civic for my 17 year old daughter from Don and his team at Advanced Auto Sales. I strongly recommend not buying a car from these people. Everything promised was not followed through with. Her first temporary tag expired. She got an extension for another month. After 2 months she finally was able to pick up her tag. They do not follow through and are extremely unprofessional. Don is going to respond with it was the previous owner who caused these issues. That is not the case. Most of the reviews echo my issues. Poor customer service, not following through on promises and extremely unprofessional. They definitely are the stereotypical used car dealer. I will also be contacting the BBB. If there was an option to give them ZERO stars out of 5 I would.

I purchased a vehicle back in September of 2016 and as of today 12/08/16 I have not received my title or been able to obtain my tag. I was forced to get an extension from my county tag office and now my second temporary tag will expire in 3 days. I have contacted the office several times, spoke to DON and I keep getting the runaround. Sometimes they dont answer when they see my call. This is unprofessional and extremely bad business practices. No one seems to know what is going on with my title!! BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE I WOULD ASK TO SEE THE TITLE UPFRONT TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE TITLE AND OWN THE VEHICLES THEY ARE SELLING!!!

Purchased a car for my son from Don 7/1/17. He was very easy to deal with and there was no sales pitch or pressure to buy. No dealer fees tacked on to the price. Just tax,tag and title. My only concern was the transmission. Don gave me a warranty, no charge. I did call about my tag because it was getting close to my temp tag expiring. He let me know that all information had been sent to the tag office. I went to the tag office the next day and picked up my tag. Received my title in the mail before the temp tag would have expired.

I purchased a vehicle a month ago cash. I was promised my title within 5 days. My temporary tag will expire tomorrow and no one will help me. This is my only transportation for me and my kids. I have called several times. No one will answer the phone or call me back. I will be contacting the BBB. This business is no good. Please make sure they have the title in hand before purchasing a vehicle from this place. Very poor customer service.
