Benjamin Burns
My name is Benjamin Burns. I am taking the time to post this review because I have never experienced the level of professionalism, customer relationships, and commitment to those relationships, as those shown by the staff of Voss Toyota in Dayton Ohio. My grandfather, Frank Sebesta, passed away this past weekend following a short battle with brain cancer. Naturally this has been a difficult time for our family as is with the passing of any loved one. The wake was held Wednesday July 30th, 2014. On Tuesday July 29th, Mr. Floyd Howell of the Voss Toyota staff took the time to call the home of my grieving grandmother to offer his condolences as well as the condolences of the staff at Voss. This meant a great deal to her and our family as in our time of grieving Mr. Howell reminded the family that my grandfather touched many lives and was liked by many people. If this small, yet to us sizable, gesture wasnt enough Mr. Howell himself took time out of his busy day to PERSONALLY come to my grandfathers wake and comfort my grandmother and our family in our time of loss and sorrow. Again, I cannot state enough how important this gesture was to show all of my grandfathers friends and family that he positively impacted many other peoples lives and will be both missed and remembered in their hearts and minds. My grandparents have done business with the Voss Toyota family for many years. The reasons for this now are clear as it is apparent that the staff at Voss Toyota truly considers their customers not just checks and credit cards, but family members. Real people with whom they cultivate real relationships that they value deeply enough to be present at a customers funeral.. Even as a write this post it still amazes and comforts me that Mr. Howell came to my grandfathers wake. Can anyone honestly say that any organization that our loved ones have done business with made a point to be present and comfort us upon their passing? I am thirty years old and I dont think I have ever heard of such a thing. Anyone looking to purchase a Toyota, or any automobile for that matter, would be well advised to take their business to VOSS TOYOTA. Voss is an organization who truly values its customers and will take you in as a member of their family not just another sale. Lastly, to Mr. Floyd Howell, I only got the chance to speak with you briefly outside of the funeral home but thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your presence in my families time of need was far above and beyond any business that I have ever heard of. Thank you for sharing with us how much Grandpa Frank meant to you guys at Voss Toyota. Thank you for reminding us of how wonderful of a person he was and that he will be missed. You made it clear that you came that day for no other reason than my grandfather was more than a customer to you. He was a man you considered to be your friend that you, like the rest of us, will miss greatly. THANK YOU MR. FLOYD HOWELL!!! THANK YOU TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE VOSS TOYOTA STAFF!!! SHOP VOSS TOYOTA! Rest in peace Frank C. Sebesta November 14th, 1939 - July 25th, 2014

We have brought our Rave 4 in for service about 3 times to this dealerships service department. Our Rave 4 was covered under warrenty at time of trying to diagnose a problem with it, but they insisted the warrenty didnt cover it. Well, we brought it in when we had the money to repair it, only to state to us that it WAS a warrenty issue and OH SO SORRY BECAUSE NOW YOUR WARRENTY IS EXPIRED. After arguing this matter with them, they reduced the price to repair the problem. I feel they were very shady and just trying to get money from us. Yesterday, I bring it in for a recall issue and a steering issue. I was given paperwork and pushed aside like cattle. After 5 hours, I call to check progress on the vehicle and they havent completed the recall issue that was only suppose to take an hour to repair, before starting the repairs on the steering problem. I asked for a returned call by the tech working on it and when he calls me back, he refuses to give me a progress check on it stating "I told you we have the car until 3pm"....uh, NO he didnt state that too me...We go back and forth on he said, she said for awhile. I tell him to just finish the job please, because he only had an hour and a half to finish the job, because it was already past 1pm...Well, he hangs up on me!!! His name is Jack by the way...It did state on one of the many sheets they throw at you that it would be ready by 3pm, but no one VERBALIZED anything to me about when the car would be ready...He said he verbalized this and he did not....why else would I have called to check on the progress?...Well, after talking to the General Manager, he agreed with me that the service department is "callus" in their efforts to properly inform customers of things such as how long it will take to repair your car and give customers proper progress on it when they ask...Be weary of the service department, Jamie, Jack and Jim...all shady, in my opinon and my experiences with them...from now on, I will just go to a local mechanic or travel to airport Toyota.

Horrible dealership. Went to this dealership as the car we were looking at Voss Hyundai was taken there. All we wanted to do is test drive the vehicle one more time. We were buying a used car and already had a deal in the works at the Hyundai store... After 30 minutes of wondering the lot, someone finally comes out and greets us as we get to our cars to leave. It was a heavier set man in a white polo. We asked to test drive the car alone, since we had all valid and required documents and was willing to sign their test drive form (per vosss policy). The guy was really rude and advised us he would have to go on the test drive. We told him no, and that the other store told us it was an option. He just went back inside, didnt say anything... But starred at us through the window. About 5 minutes later, another salesmen came up and asked us if we needed help. He said he was with a customer, but we could def test drive alone if we had the paperwork (which we did). He goes inside to get someone to help us and the heavier set guy starts going off (I saw through the window).. Minutes later another heavier set guy with red hair and a button up shirt comes out, as we were actually getting in our cars, and tells us that its against their policy and they cant let us do it.. I said "thats fine, but why do the other stores do it and why did the other salesman just tel us we could?" His response was "he isnt authorized to make those decisions." I dont know what kind of dealership is ran like this, but they have no customer service skills at all. I sincerely feel as if they profiled us as if we werent going to be able to get approved for a car. We called the Hyundai store back and they immediately sent someone to have the car driven back to their lot... And we purchased the car today. DO NOT BUY FROM VOSS TOYOTA SCION. They are rude, unprofessional, and dishonest.
