I recently drove up from Naples to check out a convertible that Shaver Auto Sales had posted on auto-trader. The employee who assisted me, Tom, was friendly, well informed and very professional. I could not believe the extent of care and appreciation that they have for me as a customer. After I purchased the vehicle at a fair price, I discovered a minor issue with the convertible top. To show that they were, in fact, honest, they paid over 500 dollars for me to take a rental car back to Naples while they completely replaced the convertible top at no charge. It was a great experience. The owner, John, is also well mannered and does business in an old-fashioned and appreciable way in which the happiness of the customer is viewed as more of an asset than a few extra bucks. 10/10 - I will be recommending Shaver Auto Sales to my friends in Naples, and also to anyone looking for a nice vehicle at a fair price.

From start to finish, the process was hassle-free. I saw the car I wanted, and Mike in sales was very knowledgeable and friendly. In spite of only having my vehicle as trade towards the down payment, and the fact that I am rebuilding my credit, John (owner) and Dewayne (F & I manager) worked quickly and efficiently with me to get the price and payments to where I am comfortable. They have the resources to work with various lenders to get you approved. They are not a "buy here pay here", which is a huge plus. Whether you are establishing, rebuilding, or have great credit, I highly recommend this dealership. Their inventory has a wide range of cars from economy to luxury. I plan on coming back in one year to see Dewayne to refinance my loan for a lower interest rate. I am very happy with my purchase.

Highly Recommended!! I drove 7 hours to Tampa to look at vehicles I seen posted online. I stopped at 5 dealerships before shavers. Shavers car was just as described in the online ad. The other dealerships posted doctored photos. I was very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy that Tom gave me while there. He was not pushy and listened to what I was looking for and could afford. There was no hassle and there was a vehicle that I wanted and I put a deal on the table. Tom took 5 minutes to talk to his boss and deal done. They are straight forward and this was the most pleaseant car buying experiences I have had. If I need another vehicle I would be willing to drive another 7 hours just to buy from them. I would recommend these guys to everyone!!

I went in with not much money, and not much time, needing to get a good, reliable, clean car in a hurry - John Shaver of Shaver Auto was able to help, and he went far beyond the call of duty to help this ol Army veteran. :) Thanks, John! I will look at Shaver Auto Sales FIRST for all of my future vehicle needs. John has a nice, clean, respectable office, his staff are polite, and helpful, and his cars are clean and high quality. He also bent over backwards to help me with getting my license plates, and even sent them to me 2nd day express mail to make sure I wasnt driving around with an expired temporary tag. Great experience in buying a car, from beginning to end.

I would buy a car from these guys again and again and again. Since I purchased my car I have recommended at least two others that have since purchased from Shavers. They actually want to sell cars and treat each customers with respect even if your credit isnt A1. Most used car dealers dont pay you any respect with a low credit score Dewayne will go above and beyond to make sure you get in the car you want at a reasonable rate. Buying a used car is just that and I dont blame them for any problems that have popped up since I purchased my car. They have my business and will go through them again in a year or two to purchase my next vehicle.

This small dealership makes all the big dealership look like crud.......Dewayne keep me informed of the entire finance process from start to finish. As well these guys stand behind their cars. I had a issue with the vehicle with in 24hrs so I call them and they told me to get it back asap, they wanted to fix the issue and in the process let me use one of their very nice cars while mine is being worked on Pete jumped on the issue quickly and John is so friendly...I am loyal to businesses just like I am to people. Buying a car for my Florida wife from the UK started out a little daunting but I found the car I thought that she would like (HHR) Made a phone call or two to DeWayne and between us worked out how we were going to put the sale together. (Not as easy as you may think. There is an ocean, five time zones, different banking systems and my heavy Scottish accent). Then end result was a happy wife with a beautiful car. They treated her like a lady with none of the usual BS that you hear so much about when discussing car dealers. Thank you all for being so helpful.

This is a small dealership with low overhead, so be prepared to get a great deal with very little hassle. Cars are priced aggressively, and the small staff means you dont have to spend hours getting a manager to approve a deal. From test drive to driving off the lot, we spent a total of under an hour in the office (took more time at the credit union for financing.) Definitely would go back here for another vehicle.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Im self employed and was denied by several other dealers in the area before going to see Dwayne at Shaver. He pulled some strings even going as far as to call the loan officer at home on a Saturday and got me in a great used car that I love!! A definite must visit if you are having trouble getting approved, or even if you have great credit and are just in search of a reliable used car!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!!! I bought a car from them and paid for a 30 day warranty. Two weeks later the brakes are worn to less than 25% useful life left. They said the warranty was not applicable because this is "normal wear and tear". This is a dishonest business.
