COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH MY DEAL! people were SUPER nice and NO PRESSURE! NO SALESMAN BREATHING DOWN MY NECK!!! FINALLY A PLACE WHERE THEY "GET IT"! I was present when the reviewer from google "Todd Wateman" was asked nicely to leave the office after throwing the keys at an employee-he should have been arrested instead- Please people, use google forum for real comments, not revenge, because some of us actually rely on your comments. Every time I was there, they gave me the keys to the car,walked away and left me alone which i found refreshing! I am a retired airline pilot and can go anywhere in the country for free to pick up a car. I was referred by my friend whom had purchased multiple toyota prius from this place for his delivery biz and swore by this place for great prices. I bought a 2005 Masarati Spyder for about $5000 less than anywhere I could find in the entire country-I had to spend a few hundred to get it up to snuff but i knew this upfront and I LOVE IT!!!! I have shopped at least 30 dealers in the bay area and consistently see their prices way, waaaayyyy less then every other dealer/private seller PLUS they speak English and in a safe part of town-no ghetto shadiness! Since I have the time, I shopped a lot of dealerships and I am stunned how many-lets say "undesirables"-are in the bay area selling cars-the the people at Luxor are the extreme opposite. I have been there at least 8 times in the last month and had a pleasant time every time. I asked nicely if they could detail my car, they willingly complied PLUS FILLED MY TANK. You read that right-I saved at least $5000-and THEY FILLED MY TANK AFTER DETAILING MY CAR! Warning-the place is slammed, they def need more help. Get there early and you will be fine, also dont go on Saturday or expect little/no help. Also, yes, do not expect a brand new car and to pay nothing for it-be realistic and you will be fine. All you "Todds" stay away from this place-this place is for people wanting to save money and a lot of us want that instead of the "white gove" experience, so all "Todds"-please go elsewhere and pay too much and let those of us wanting to save $$ support business that give us a price savings !

Very shady operation. I visited Luxor 3 times over a few days recently. I was in the market for a high mileage luxury car. I was looking for something that would be reasonably nice to drive for a couple of years. Luxor has does indeed have a large selection of vehicles. The problem is, most of them are not in good shape. They all seem to have various problems ranging from cosmetic damage (ripped seats, keyed paint, missing gas caps, etc.) to engine problems and mechanical damage. Nevertheless, I intended to find something I could "live with" and went on the 3rd visit to make a purchase. I had a pocket full of cash and was ready to buy. When I got there, I had a list of 8 vehicles I wanted to look at in order to make a decision on which to buy. After searching for someone to get the keys to inspect the cars, I encountered a 40-something "surfer" dude with bleach blond hair. I later found out this may have been the owner of Luxor. He got me the keys to the first car on my list, which I didnt want to buy. When I asked him for the keys to the next car, he got very pissy and asked my what exact car I wanted. I explained to him that I had a list of cars I wanted to examine before purchasing something and he announced to me that I was "wasting his time." He actually told me to just leave. So I did. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly when looking to buy a product.

I wish i could rate this company −5 stars!!! This is the worst company to buy vehicles from. The vehicle on the lot is not described as what I saw in the photos online. The guy by the name of Adriel kills people with price and dealer fees, being rude and very disrespectful! They made a mistake with the price and tax and they still charged me more than what they told me Im supposed to pay. They supposed to install a new battery in the vehicle I bought but instead they fixed the old battery and sold the car to me saying that it is a new battery. Their vehicles have absolutely no warranty, the car came with no wheel spanner or jack or user manual or anything that is helpful about the vehicle. The vehicle was almost like one of those salvaged vehicles from miami, dented up, bent rims and missing parts etc. The vehicle loses power when I stop at traffic lights. The coolant is over leaking from the head gasket and now (May1st2014) the transmission is gone. I dont know what other problems this vehicle has in store for me. Im going to do everything I can to expose these people and what they do to the customers who buy vehicles from them. Do yourself a big favor and buy your vehicles elsewhere because youre going to have serious problems when you buy a vehicle from Luxor Automotive Inc. on 3830 W Cypress St. Tampa, FL 33607. :-)

This was on of the worst interactions I have had with a sales person, EVER!! The add said " One of the nicest Devilles on the planet has just made its way to Luxor..." I then called and asked specific questions regarding any accidents and the cars condition and was assured it was perfect inside and out. I drive over and find they had completely misrepresented the cars condition both in the add and on the phone. There was a hole in the front bumper, dings/dents on several other surfaces, there were missing controls, and cigarette burns in carpet of the dirty interior as well as overspray in several areas from a cheap coverup paint attempt. I let the sales person know I dont appreciate being misled. He keeps pushing the sale, "Well boss what would you pay for it". I tell him I dont want to pay anything for it, its a piece of crap. He then turns nasty, starts yelling, swearing, and posturing like his going to charge at me. The F bombs are now every other word. I get in my car to leave, he is circling like hes going to start beating my car. I was able to leave without incident but certainly felt as though I might need to run him down to get out of there. ARE YOU KIDDING!! This idiot acts like hes a prison yard bully instead of on a sales floor. This place is not safe.

Im not sure everyone is going to the right place because I experiences excellent guest service. I did my research on the car I wanted to I knew was getting into. What people need to realize is that this is a wholesale lot. you are getting the best possible deal on top of that you are purchasing a USED vehicle you are going to have to do some maintenance. that was something I expected and the dealer even told me to get a few things looked at which was not problem. he was honest and forthcoming about everything HE KNEW about the car. you cant expect them to know everything wrong with the car. also let me tell you a little something about dealers. . . usually they dont tell you if anything is wrong with the car they just smile and say it is perfect. if that is the kind of lying thieving people you want to deal with then dont come here because they wont push you into buying anything you dont want and they dont lie. my last car I bought at another horrible dealer who sold me a car with a salvage title and continued to swear up and down that it wasnt even though I busted him on it. so I am very pleased and relieved that there are some honest dealers out there trying to help people. so quit your damn bellyaching. btw I just purchased a vehicle from there about two weeks ago.
