First I would like to give 5 stars to Jordan Cates who never told me anything that wasnt true and was upfront about what it would cost me to get a car. Why I gave two stars is because I must start with a preface. I knew that my car to trade would have negative equity and that I would have to pay for this but sitting for 3 hours one night was ridiculous. Rick the floor manager when I stated well I cant do those type of payments with my budget but thanks for your time tells me I can get you this deal for a little over your budget just give me a minute. Again, poor Jordan was saying you know I understand your situation and dont worry if he says something can happen then it will. 30 minutes later Im told ok banks are closed come back in the morning and we will have this all ready to go and be getting you in a new car. I told them at that time if you cant I already have a vehicle its fine. No was the answer we will have you in a new vehicle within the budget tomorrow. I go back and sat for another hour today and finally after Rick knew that I couldnt get the car he sends over Charles who then tells me another long winded story saying if I could pay down my car another $5,000 they could help me. My problem with this in saying is that if you knew you couldnt do it the night before and I told you dont worry about the car I am just going home dont waste my time. I was told by Jordan it would be out of budget and was told by Rick it will be within budget and then told by Charles there is no way we can do this. If the managers dont know what is going on and cant just look you in the eye and say we cant help then dont tell your employees oh wait we can do this. So at the end of the day I am also stating please dont put on your commercials a lie about how you can work with anyone no matter what and just tell the truth. Just upset about all the time I could have been with family instead of a 4 hour run around just tell me no we cant help you sorry.

Its one thing to have a good experience at the original purchase of your car but also continued good customer service throughout the ownership and maintenance of your vehicle.I have worked in the customer service industry myself all my working life and I have to say over the time of ownership the customer service in the service dept has been VERY lacking. I not only had an issue with an oil change where the main cap was not tighten properly and all my oil leaked out but then had to have it towed back so my engine wouldnt seize up, then at times just general rude people. But then again in my last visit somehow my drivers seat got wet, how does this happen?? Also I have been bribed with coupons if I would give them a all "10 " rating, even when they havent earned it. To top it off I gave them a not so good review for the wet seat and did get a email from Mr Smith asking what he could do,{being very general, not offering to do anything specific}, I said " well how do you take care of your unhappy customers". He suggested a few things. I told him of other issues I had previous and had a few questions for him. Well its now been 10 days without return contact from him, left to fend for myself I guess. So I decided to contact the general manager. I called the dealership, came in contact with a receptionist that I had a hard time understanding. Once I finally got Mr Hill"s name I asked to speak to him, got a long pause then a " he is in a meeting" no offer for an opportunity return call or leave a voicemail or anything. So I then asked " well...is it possible to leave a message??? Finally got the voicemail and of course, box was full. Beyond dealing with my current vehicle I doubt highly I will do business with this dealership again and recommend you think long and hard in purchasing a car here because this might be your future customer service!!!

I just recently bought a new 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited from the guys at Hyundai of Asheville. I was greeted in the parking lot by Michael Whitmire. He showed me everything I asked to see and we test drove 2 different models. He drove every car to me instead of me having to walk all over the lot to see the different ones. He took three cars and parked them side by side so I could compare them all. I was allowed to keep one of the cars overnight so that my husband could get a good look at it and drive it himself. They didnt have the color/model I wanted there on the lot but by the next day they had found me the exact car I was looking for. I was overjoyed that they found it so quickly and had it delivered to the dealership within 24 hours. I was treated so well by everyone that I worked with on this car purchase and I thought the customer service was excellent! When my husband and I showed up on Saturday to finalize the purchase ALL the paperwork was completed/ ready to sign and the car was detailed perfectly. We had 30 minutes of signing paperwork and we were out the door. I got a very thorough run through by Michael of all the features on my new car and a full tank of gas. This was probably one the easiest car purchases I have ever made. Thank you Michael Whitmire for ALL of your hard work/ knowledge and patience and thank you to Billy Hill, Ryan Nazionale and Shannon Hudson for everything you guys did to make this such a pleasant experience. I will definately be recommending you to any of my friends who might be in the market for a new car.

MY BEST EXPERIENCE EVER IN TERMS OF BOTH SALES AND SERVICE!! When we moved to Asheville, we were anxious to know if we could get the same level of superior sales and service to which we were accustomed in our previous location. Hyundai of Asheville exceeded our expectations and excelled beyond all of our prior experiences with car dealers. Robert Braswell (Internet Sales and Leasing Specialist) and Billy Hill (General Sales Manager) were a breath of fresh air in contrast to the slick tricks and high-pressured tactics often characteristic of car dealers. Robert and Billy were professional, honest, and respectful. They let us know in a friendly manner that they wanted to earn our business, and they outperformed all other dealers in the Western Carolina and East Tennessee region. The finance and service departments have also been excellent. We very much enjoyed meeting with Shannon Hudson, Finance Director. He applied no pressure to buy extended warranties or other options. Like Robert and Billy, he was simply direct and very professional. Weve had our other Hyundai serviced here, and the service department did excellent work at an affordable price. My positive experience at Hyundai of Asheville has been my only major consumer purchase that was headache-and-hassle free, and I look forward to great sales and service at HA in the future.
