Have to look carefully, but there are great deals to be found. We were in there the weekend past Labor Day after our washer died, looking to replace both our washer and dryer. After searching over the inventory, I found an incredible deal. A Maytag Elite washer (dark grey) priced that retailed for $1299 for $320 and a similar dryer (white) that retailed for $1399 for $420. I couldnt believe the deal! The colors are not matched, but the machines appear to be pretty well matched. After locating those items, I checked online and they both were rated 4.8 of 5 stars and were selling for the full retail price. The washer had a sizable dent under the door, but otherwise was flawless. The dryer was still NEW IN THE BOX! The store manager James was simply AWESOME! We got everything worked up and they were delivered the next day! He even threw in a couple free water lines and a free power cord for the dryer! All in, we got a 5-year protection plan on both and our price out the door was less than one of the machines by itself. All in a great experience. Of course, at a place like this, timing is everything. They get overstocked, discontinued, damaged, and returned items from their stores. The deals are not always that great. Ive seen dishwashers with a retail price of $1,300 sell for $1,100 with significant cosmetic damage. That said, with a little looking around and patience, you can almost always find at least one great deal. It also helped that were were there during the end of the labor day sale, so everything was an additional 20% off the lowest price.

Found a Maytag dryer but it was too banged up. John said he found one new in the box out back for the same price. I bought it, loaded it in my vehicle and when I got home and opened the box I discovered he gave me a Kenmore. Classic bait and switch. I looked up the make and model and learned that it was actually cheaper at the traditional Sears store. I dont know why I went to Sears in the first place. Update: when I discovered the aforementioned problem I called and the sales associate who consulted the manager and said to bring it back the next day for a full refund. Followed the instructions and when I arrived the next day they said they could only do an exchange even though I was told the night before I could have a refund even though this policy isnt stated ANYWHERE on the receipt or at the store. Another sales associate came by while I was arguing with the manager and printed and posted a sign saying "All Sales Final" right in front of me! I have never witnessed such blatant disrespect for the customer. The manager on duty would not budge so I decided to file a police report. Although this is a civil matter, I couldnt help but feel like I was being robbed. Police agreed with me but could only recommend that I contact Sears Corp. or a district manager. District manager never bothered returning my message. This was THE WORST customer experience I have ever had. Please heed my warning and do not walk into this store.

We are VERY UNHAPPY with the Sears store in Tampa, Florida. In September 2009, we purchased the Bosch washer & dryer. We were told by the sales repre, Louis, that both units used only a 110 circuit. This was one on the main criteria why we bought these units. We were so excited that we had our contractor to wire our home for a 110 connection for the, to be deliver Bosch washer & dryer. When the washer and dryer arrived, we found out, 1) there was no power connection for the dryer. This was not mention to us by the sales person. Not really a problem. 2) We called the same store to order the necessary power supply, but then we found that we had to order a 220 power connection for the dryer. We were NOT HAPPY for we had to have our contractor re-wire our home for the 220, an additional cost of $650.00 we had not anticipated. This will be the last time WE WILL EVER buy from Sears for this is the SECOND BAD experience we have encountered from this company buying large appliances. I am surprise that BOSCH, a company of your high standards & reputation is allowing a company like SEARS, with declining customer service issues, continue selling your products.

Price are decent, but the process in itself is a nightmare. they are understaffed so it took over an hour from the time I chose my furniture to finally walking out of the store. All the wait time was for the one person at the checkout counter. In addition, I selected to have the furniture delivered which I paid for the service. I asked twice and they assured me that the delivery came with assembly and on the day of delivery the guys informed that they do not assemble furniture. When I called the store, I was told that I would have to pay to have them come back out and pick up the furniture or assemble it myself. And for this reason, I do not recommend purchasing there. Adding one more star... with this store it was one nightmare after nightmare. But yesterday, the manager Terry made it better. I doubt that Ill be back and will advise those who go to be very cautious amd to get readu for a possible rollercoaster ride. Thank you Larry for reaching out & Terry for making it right

Honest folks. I ordered a scratch and dent fridge from Sears Outlet online. It shipped to the Tampa store from out of state. Prior to sending it to my house, I received numerous phone calls from this location alerting me to the seriousness of the scratch and dent and inquiring whether Id first like to see the fridge. Sure enough when I got there, the fridge that I had ordered was super neat up. Terri, the store manager, was completely understanding and worked with us to pick out a replacement. In the end, we got a better fridge for about the same price. These were some honest folks. If you are on the fence, give them a try. You wont find better deals out there.

Bought a fridge over the weekend. Top notch service from Saturday from Randy. Very knowledgeable, helpful, provided tape measure asnd explained about options/sizes. Then the next day the others couldnt help us load and said "randy will be here at noon". We waited for him, and he came to work 20 minutes early and helped us right away. Wrapped the fridge and loaded it. 5 star service from Randy!

Heavyset Caucasian woman is the manager there and she kicked out my service animal and I because barked (once) when I accidentally spooked him when opening a fridge . They lost major business as I was looking to buy multiple appliances. She told me because she heard the bark from her office we needed to leave. As a business owner myself, dont shop here. Ill be sure to report her

We went in looking for a built in oven. Terry not only helped us find the perfect one but (when asked) helped us find a refrigerator to match. At all times Terry and the other employee ( I forgot his name, sorry!) Were very friendly, helpful and helped us find what matched our needs and budget. We ended up with a Kenmore Elite oven and fridge at a very good deal!
