( Good News - 5 days after posting this I found the exact same thing at Big Lots for $69.00 less! ) My wife and I went shopping for a portable bar for the kitchen, and we found one that she liked at Highland Park Furniture Outlet, a few weeks ago. We were told, by the sales woman, that "the unit comes in a box and has to be assembled." I went back on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to buy, but the only one in stock was the floor model, which the saleslady offered to sell me (OK, she pressured me to buy it,) but, it since it would not fit into the car, assembled, I decided to come back another day. So, I drove back on Sunday afternoon, in a van (a 30 minute drive each way,) to pick it up, and I was told that "only the manager can sell the floor models." He then determined that this one is not for sale, and I was told that they dont know when the item will be in stock again. These cant be that difficult to put together, but I guess the time it would take to assemble another one was just too great a sacrifice to make in order to sell furniture. My time is worth something to me, and I really dont appreciate having my day wasted by salespeople and store managers who say one thing, and then do something else.

They have some good finds there, but also some way overpriced, you have to be a smart shopper to get a deal. I used to shop at the one on Hillsborough but they closed. Ill tell you why I wont make any large purchases here anymore. I bought a dining table for $800 yesterday and was told to inspect it for damage before taking it. They pull stuff halfway out of the box so you can see it. I looked for any scratches, gouges or dents and didnt see any. Only to get home and find small sticky residue blotches all over the top of it, Im guessing from stickers/labels. I tried just using water and a sponge, didnt work. Tried a little soap, still didnt work. After about 15 minutes we knew nothing would take it off besides goo gone, which ended up leaving stains on the finish. Im not the type to make a big fuss or complain or beg to return it especialy because they made it VERY clear all sales are final, I just know where NOT to shop from now on.

Amazing location to pick a item you love at a price you can afford. Even when under pressure, everyone is still polite and provides the attention necessary to make sure you are taken care of. I almost bought a fraction of what Im getting here for the same amount of money and its a King size. Thank you Tony Montana! You went above and beyond!!! Thank you to the delivery guy as well for calling. Not most delivery guys do. The only thing is delivery didnt happen on the day it was supposed to which is fine because I know its hectic, but as well being advised a certain time the following day and it not happening is a bit saddening. Had someone clear out my room for this. Still even so Im really happy about it all.

Hands down the best furniture store in Florida!!! I know thats a big claim but I have been in the Tampa Bay Area for over 30 years and have done the furniture thing numerous times as Im sure you all have. Joe Walter and his staff are all class acts.Im been to the "Best of the Best" as well the hole in the walls and Highland Park Furniture takes the cake as having the best customer service, quality, and selection you can find anywhere. They treated me and my wife like family and we couldnt have been any more appreciative. We would recommend Highland Park to all of our friends and family. Thank you so much for taking care of us:)

I WILL NEVER GO ELSEWHERE! I LOVE THIS PLACE! The whole company is AMAZING! The employees are so incredibly helpful without bombarding. (impossible in any furniture store) Joe helped me find EXACTLY what i was looking for and asked me detailed questions about the furniture i chose to make sure i was completely satisfied and then some! The whole financing process? EASY PEASY! I was in and out in like 10 minutes! Nicole not only remembered my name but asked me detailed questions about how my life is going since we last spoke. I mean who does that? SHE DOES! ABOVE AND BEYOND! This place will never lose my business!

It was amazing! Everyone from the minute I walked in, was so nice, so friendly, so upbeat, so helpful! It wasnt over bearing like other furniture stores! Management was beyond helpful and accommodating to all my questions and concerns. I am anxiously waiting for my high quality, great priced, very stylish new furniture to arrive! When i came in i was just look around just seeing what was out there I was looking for a bedroom suit something that I can afford and nice with quality I have found one i thought I couldnt afford it the but one of the salesman came up to me introduced herself to me told me his name was Mr Joe he gave me three option that I can do if I wanted that one that may me feel great so I got the bedroom suit that I wanted it was affordable nice payment and he was a nice guy and I will highly recommend them to anybody thank you

I recommend Highland Park to everyone! They have excellent customer service and went the extra mile to help me. I had just gotten out of the hospital and needed a lift chair.ifound it on their website, called the store and ordered two chairs I just had to come by to sign the paperwork. They had it all ready so my daughter went in they brought the paperwork out to the car for me to sign. It was awesome I really appreciated it. Great customer service ! Five stars from me!

Wee.google this place and it was on our list of looking at furniture and we found that it was nice quality affordable price we met with Martha who was great she gave us some tips took us around to see different things she wasnt aggressive they werent in our face about you know having to get something the quality was great they were ever so helpful we came back to purchase more furniture and they were so accommodating and gave us a great deal we highly recommend it

Easy experience from picking out the chair to delivery of chair. Anna is an asset to your company. I was in hospital and no one could be home when the chair was going to be delivered. Anna was able to get chair pulled from delivery truck. Delivery guys were GREAT! Very friendly & went over the operation of the chair. When will I get the paperwork for the extended warranty?
