My Husband and I just built a new home, so we were in the market for several different pieces of furniture. We were approached by Vickie, who was pretty impressive to us. After looking around, we said we would like to check out some other stores and would be back if we were unable to find something we liked elsewhere. Well, we ended up back with Ashley. We purchased over $15,000 worth of furniture to furnish our new home and were were quite satisfied with the entire experience. Well, that didnt last long. Our first of many deliveries went like this....the truck arrives and they start bringing in items the following weekend. My Husband and I both inspected all of the items very carefully to assure there was no damage to our new furniture. They brought in 10 dining room chairs, when we ordered 8, so we refused the two that were damaged. They then go to put our knew kitchen table together and it was the wrong kitchen set. We had gotten rid of our old kitchen table to make room for the new, so now we had no kitchen table. Then one of the delivery guys tells us the Ashley trucks back sliding up/down door was broken and it came down on one of our pieces of furniture. He didnt want us to refuse it and started trying to fix the damage with a marker in our home. We finally got him to remove the damaged item and he told us he had told his Manager multiple times this door had been broken. I then called the store to speak with Vickie. I told her I wanted a print out to make sure we had not been charged for 10 dining room chairs versus 8 and she said she would sent a $100 gift card out right away. Well, neither ever came. A week later, the delivery guys are back with our correct kitchen table and bring the same damaged item back to our house. We could tell it was the same one because of the damage and the marker color on the table. This time I called and spoke with the Operations manager, Elizabeth. I told her what had happened and I still had not received our print out of all items received to date or the gift certificate, which was not really a big deal. Elizabeth promised to call the next day to confirm she had sent out the print out and gift card, but never called. At this point, we were still waiting on an entire bedroom set, a vanity set, chair and lamp for the master bedroom. A few days before we were told this was going to be delivered we had not received a call as to when the items would be delivered. I called the store and spoke with Vickie. She looked up our delivery and advised now our bedroom set would not be available for another month. I requested to speak with a Manager and this is when I met Frank, as I wanted to know why we were just now finding this out. He did email me the print out I still never received and said Vickie should have contacted me, as they get paperwork weekly on customers orders. We continued to wait for our bedroom furniture when my Husband gets a call on Friday, 4 weeks after spoke we Frank, to advise the delivery was set. We get a call on Saturday stating everything would be delivered but the bed and one of our dressers. I tried calling Frank and he would avoid my calls. Finally, after over two month of waiting, we go directly to the store to meet with Frank and he was not there, so we met with his boss, Orlando. We explained this situation and after all of the money we spent there he did nothing to try to make this situation right. We cancelled our bedroom set order and he walked away to go help another customer. We asked to have a final print out of the furniture we did have and this took some time. As I looked at our paperwork, they had my name spelled wrong and our address wrong, which we had told them multiple times to change. Please be aware of Vickie and Frank. Vickie was great once she knew the commission she was getting and then could care less about how the rest of our experience went. Beware of this store, go somewhere else. It was a stressful experience and I hope no other person has to ever go through what we did with this store.

Dont waste your time. The furniture looks pretty, but it is absolute garbage. The warranty has enough loopholes that they can get out of correcting any problem you have with the product. We bought a lift top coffee table from the Brandon store July 2014. Within a few months, the screws holding the four-bar mechanism to the base of the coffee table unseated themselves. We called Ashley, were told to file with Guardsman, their "warranty" service. We filed with Guardsman, heard nothing for a couple of weeks. Called Guardsman, were told that within the first year of purchase we had to contact Ashley for service. So we called Ashley back, fast forward through several run-arounds trying to talk to their staff, a tech eventually came out, repaired the coffee table, and we moved on. Then a couple months ago, the same thing happened, the screws ripped out of the wood. Contacted Guardsman again, filed our claim. Turns out that Guardsman is hugely busy with the number of claims theyre getting - not surprising, considering - and its going to take them some time to get to ours. Finally, almost 2 months after filing our claim, a tech comes out, takes a cursory glance at our coffee table, declares its a piece of junk assembled almost exclusively from particle board, and fixing it wont help anything, writes this up & leaves without attempting to do anything with the table. Not that I disagree with the man about how horrible it is, now that weve lived with it & had a chance to learn better, but a little more effort might have been nice. He tells us Guardsman will be contacting us "some time" and will relate to us what happens next, probably replacing it. Guardsman has other ideas. Seems the tech mis-wrote his report, they think the mechanism has failed - not the wood, as is clearly visible in pictures we sent them - and they try to tell me "normal wear and tear" isnt covered. This furniture is not even a year & a half old. How exactly could normal wear & tear come into play here? The only solution they were willing to offer is to sell us an over-priced "repair kit" to basically do what their technician couldnt be bothered to do. We are NEVER working with Ashley or Guardsman after this mess. Better furniture comes out of a student woodshop class than what they offer on their showroom floor. Their "protection plan" is completely worthless; just look up Guardsmans rating of 1.3 if you need more convincing not to go anywhere near this partnership.

Absolutely worst experience you could ever imagine! I am so upset and NEVER plan to shop there ever again. In fact, I send everyone I know to everywhere else EXCEPT Ashley! I bought my bedroom set through their RAC. I took 3 buses to get to their location. I was VERY specific about what I wanted. I ordered the bed, the mattesses, the media chest and a 3 draw night stand. Now even though I had been there early, it took them hours to complete the contract even when there was no else there. It took them so long they didnt finish until the store closed and I missed my bus and had to have someone pick me up because I was literally stranded. Now please be mindful that I always review the contract, the contract did not allow me to see which nightstands it had, but I was sure to ask them to check that it was correct and to try to get me out of the store as fast as possible they assured me and said everything was fine. But thats not the worse part. When delivery came a month later, I took the day off of work. The guys set everything up and the very last thing they brought inside was the night stand. Can anyone tell me why it was a 2 DRAWER NIGHT STAND AND NOT THE THREE?? I immediately call them and tell them that this is NOT what I ordered! They them tell me that someone must have made a mistake. But Either Way To Have The Situation Corrected They Said I Have To: HAVE THE GUYS TAKE DOWN THE FURNITURE AND TAKE IT BACK. I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE STORE ON 3 BUSES TO HAVE A NEW CONTRACT CREATED WITH THE CORRECT NIGHT STAND, THEN HAVE THEM DELIVER IT TO ME AGAIN WHENEVER THEY CAN, MEANING I HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER DAY OFF. THEY WERE COMPLETELY UNWILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO ACCOMMODATE ME FOR THEIR ERROR. EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT EXCEPT THE NIGHT STAND AND THEY WERE UNWILLING TO JUST CORRECT THE CONTRACT AND SWITCH OUT THE NIGHT STANDS. INSTEAD THEY WANTED EVERYTHING TO GO BACK. SO BECAUSE AT THAT TIME NOT ONLY COULD I NOT AFFORD TO THE ARE ANOTHER DAY OFF AS MY JOB REQUIRES MY PRESENCE, I DIDNT HAVE THE TIME TO TAKE ANOTHER 3 BUS RIDE AND I FELT HORRIBLE FOR THE GUYS BECAUSE MY BEDROOM SET IS EXTREMELY HEAVY AND I DID NOT HAVE THE HEART TO TELL THOSE MEN TO TAKE IT DOWN AND SEND IT BACK. SO NOW EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE I AM STUCK WITH A NIGHT STAND I NEVER EVEN WANTED WHEN I SPENT A BIT OVER $3,000 ON THIS BEDROOM SET! BEWARE. NEVER GO THERE!!
