This is a mixed review of Babies R Us. On one hand, the customer service is lacking, on the other, it is really good. The store has a baby registry area that has been staffed by at least one person each time I have been there. They take your orders for things like cribs and items that need to be ordered, and they start a registry for you (sign you up and hand you the little registry guns). They do not really float from this desk though. The stroller aisle is only a few rows away from this desk, but we could never find anyone to help us with the complexities of the strollers. This is a 180 degree difference from Buy Buy Baby, where they have personnel in the crib area, and the stroller area. We ended up pulling strollers down off the display and driving them around the store to find which one we liked, which I don’t mind; but a pregnant lady might have trouble doing this herself. I’m sure that if we took the time to ask someone, they would have found someone to help us. I just wish they had personnel roaming the aisles looking to help like Buy Buy Baby has. On the other hand, the staff in the back warehouse is amazing. We ordered a crib (which is delivered to the store, not your house). When we went to pick up our crib, the box it was in was too wide to fit in my SUV. The guy who carted it out for us helped me tear down the box in front of their store (I was parked at the curb). We tore it down, and he helped me fit each piece into the SUV. He didn’t have to do that. He could have said that he wasn’t allowed to open them up, and could have left the box on the curb with me and my pregnant wife, and we would have been out of options. But he didn’t. He cut it open, helped us load it, and then took the box and excess trash back with him. Really nice guy – wish we would have taken down his name. Great staff when you can find them – needs more staff roaming the store.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I placed an order on 12/5/2016 for their Cyber monday sale and the following morning i received an email stating my order was Canceled, when i contacted Toys R us the 1st representative stated that it was canceled due to payment not going thru for me to contact my bank, I asked to speak with a supervisor and was on hold for 40 minutes then got hung up on. I called my financial institution and they stated payment had went thru and even gave me an Approval code,so I contacted Toys r us again and spoke to a Deontae which stated that order was canceled and that its showing there was no payment, at this point I ask to speak with a supervisor waited another 10 minutes and then Keyonna the supervisor got on the phone. Again I expressed my frustration and wanted to know why they took it upon themselves to cancel my order if payment had went thru. She stated that there was nothing she can do because the payment is processed thru an automated service and would have to wait 5-7 business days to get my funds back, which i dont understand if they just told me payment hadnt went thru. There was nothing they can do and I had to place my order again and pay full price now since the sale was only for Monday 12/5/2016. This is the worst experience Ever especially for the holidays. For the record I have 9 month old twins and Only shop at toys r us for everything. I will definetely be taking my business to Walmart and will Never do business with Toys R Us again and will be letting everybody else know to Beware of their Scams going on with online orders. they are liars and nobody knows whats going on when you call. This place gets no stars from me but I had toput at least 1 because it wouldnt let me post this message unless I put a star. Which again I think is outrageous especially If they dont deserve any stars!!!!! Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!!!

While the store is new and clean, its operations leave much to be desired. I will not post a public review until the retailer has time to respond, and I waited a week after sending a note to their complaint department and filling out their survey. Pure apathy - no response to either. What happened? At my 9 year olds birthday, he received Toys R Us gift cards. He looked online at Toys R Us and found what he wanted. Off to the store. The store had a far higher price, but still offered the same "free with purchase" deal as the web. After showing the ad on a smart phone, the store agreed to "Price Match" their own ad. (How generous.) However, as for the other premium (a free $4 toy with purchase of any toy over $20 - and this was still $60), was void since they price matched themselves -- even thought the same deal was offered in the store. So, for his 9th birthday, my son learned about the bait and switch tactic and about corporate fraud. Im done with Toys R Us. This is no way to treat a customer, and a despicable way to cheat a child. Next birthday will specifically request no Toys R Us Gift Cards in the invitations. Event occurred 10/5/2013.

My recent layaway experience with Toys R Us has been surprisingly awful!!!! I made a layaway order, put a down payment on the day of ordering,and still one month later, I have no layaway account.Their computer system has been up, or froze, from what they say.They cannot cancel my order, refund my money, and no one,I MEAN NO ONE, can help me!! I have been to the store, talk to service people who are unauthorized to help me, I continue to get the run around,and I am absolutely 100% disgusted with their customer service and the way that they are handling this issue.Furthermore,they continue to charge my card,they I have not authorized, which also made my account overdraft.With all the $$ that has gone into this fake layaway account of their, it would have basically paid for my small order. I want my money back, I want my order cancelled, and I will probably never use them ever again.I have been a very loyal customer for many years, but this is just so beyond nu-exuseable. I will be contacting the BBB soon.

It is ridiculous you purchase something and pay the extra money for them to assemble it and they sell it to another customer. And they think if they replace it with another jeep Id be ok. No! Your mistake, make it right. Its not for me to settle for something I didnt want. #toysrus just lost another customer. By the way Toy r us in #WaterfordLakes cant get it together. Price tag missing be ready to wait a half an hour so someone to get you a price. DO NOT GIVE THEM EXTRA MONEY FOR ASSEMBLING BECAUSE THEY WILL SELL YOUR PRODUCT. So furious its 3 days till Christmas and my 3 year old wont have the frozen jeep like she wanted. So sad I never would of thought this kind of customer service would come from you guys. And if the manager (who checked me out) would of explained itd need to be picked up within 72 hours like their supposed to, I would of been there. #disappointed
