I had been a loyal customer for many of years and Verizon has shown their true colors. On August 11, 2015 I called Verizon and spoke to a customer service rep. I explained that I needed to keep my number because I was going away for the next 10 months; she seemed nice but I was wrong. She mentioned that I can suspend my account without billing and in six months she will update my account so when I got back into society I would be able to re-activate my phone and keep the same number. I paid my bill and everything was up to date and my balance was zero. Ten months go by and now my Verizon Wireless account is in collections. This is so Un-American!! The balance was ZERO DOLLARS and Verizon went back on their word and screwed me. I have called customer support and explained the situation and they told me that on the account it has a note to not work this account because it has been closed. I am amazed that they would do this. This is how messed up this whole situation is. A week later after suspending my account I am billed for $60.06!!!!! Say what?!?!?! The account was suspended without billing and I am still billed while not able to respond through mail or email. I have each and every email as proof that I did not have an obligation to Verizon or to pay them the charges I incurred while away. Verizon refuses to make this right and because of Verizon my credit is shot because they sent it to collections. It comes down to this. I called Verizon, I told them the truth and what I needed to happen, I thought the Verizon customer rep did what she said she was going to do and she didnt, and now I owe $259.00 to some collection agency. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS VERIZON????????? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR LYING TO ME AND OTHERS!!!!!!!

Ive never posted a review on any website before, however, this is a public notice of Thanks for restoring my faith that true customer service still exists. The TCC Verizon Wireless representative, Xarah, (pronounced Sarah) in Oldsmar went above, beyond and out of her way to help me... a senior citizen... an EX Verizon Customer... a current T-Mobile Customer. My issue was that I was trying to use my old Verizon Motorola Droid as the handset for my current T-Mobile account. As are many from my age group, I am technically challenged. My thought pattern followed the line that the issues with the phone could probably be best addressed and questions answered by the original issuer of the phone. I stopped in to the TCC Verizon store. I walked through the door and Xarah jumped into full service mode EVEN AFTER HEARING THAT I WAS A T-MOBILE CUSTOMER AND THE LAST THING I WANTED WAS TO CHANGE CARRIERS. She didnt belittle me. She didnt patronize me due to my age or educational limitations. She didnt try to sell me out of my current wireless relationship. She helped me as if I were her most faithful customer. She took personal ownership of my problem and got me back on the road to her competitor. She did this because it was the right thing to do. IF more sales people followed her example they would gain the loyalty they seek in customer aquisition and retention which ultimately produces the sales results they are chasing. NOW I have a problem. I want the Verizon service and expertise that Xarah shared with me yesterday but Im committed to another carrier. I feel a little like the old high school days. Which date do I ask to the prom? Thanks Xarah. Thanks TCC Verizon.

Excellent customer service team; they go the distance to help you out, even if its not in their realm of responsibility. This store has a very knowledgeable, effective and efficient crew (and fun too). Id recommend this store to anyone looking for great carrier customer service in the Oldsmar area. This is my experience: I went to the Verizon Oldsmar store to upgrade my phone. Mark was extremely helpful (and patient) in explaining all the details of the upgrade. I was skeptical about pricing and changes to my existing plan, so Mark took the time to itemize the charges and explain all the details of the plan. As part of the upgrade, I was expecting to receive a promotional code via text message that I could submit to a Verizon Website for a discount. I never received the promo code. I went back to the store and worked with Mark again. He worked with me to find the proper VZW department that could help me, as dialing 611 did not initially solve the problem. We dialed several customer service lines and had to go through a bunch of phone menus before we got to someone who could help (Im so glad I didnt have to navigate through that myself). Mark spoke with the representative and, after a lot of back-and-forth, I got the discount I was looking for. I felt Mark went above and beyond what he was responsible for and I sincerely appreciate his effort. I upgraded a second phone on my account and worked with different agents (Daniela - I think thats her name, and Robert). I had a great experience with them as well.

I have been to many wireless retail stores and my typical experience has included pushy sales people or being completely ignored. I came to this store initially when my cellphone broke a few months ago and received outstanding service by Mark Messerian. Knowing I had just had a baby a few weeks before, he helped me find a phone and payments that worked for me. (I even got a free screen protector!) When I came back into the store because I had trouble with my rebates, Mark went above and beyond to find a solution. He even personally followed up with me via e-mail to make sure I received the credit he worked so hard to get put onto my account. About a month later, I broke my phone and returned to the store where I was helped to re-order it through the insurance company. Most places would have just given me a telephone number and sent me away. Needless to say, I will definitely be back to this store any time I need help or would like to purchase a new phone, tablet, or accessories. I have never been treated better as a customer.

I was very impressed with the customer service at this Verizon store. The girl who worked there, I think her name was Trista, greeted me and helped me with a complicated addition to my phone plan (long story), and instead of selling me one of the most expensive phones, one I was sure I was going to have to buy, recommended I get exactly the phone I needed (which didnt cost me much at all thanks to the promotion that was going on). She didnt have to do that, and Im sure I would have spent more if not for her honesty and obvious in-depth knowledge. At one point, the gentleman working there (Mark???) even stepped over to help us (like I said, this was not nearly a straight-forward "buy a phone" situation), which was very nice. I am a fan of this store for life! I have already recommended this Verizon store to friends and family, and as each goes there, they tell me they had an excellent experience, too. Great job!
