I have a mixed review. My initial experience was quite good on price though lacking in customer service and professionalism. I purchased a Dishwasher from them and the salesperson, though not the most polished and professional, was adequate. He didnt know as much about the appliances as we did since we did research and had it with us. At least once he said something inaccurate and we showed him the consumer reports we had with us, he didnt argue as my later experience. In fact, he thanked us and asked if he could make a copy. We got a good price and the unit has worked well for several years. We brought it home ourselves and did the installation. I recommended them for price in a review at the time but not for knowledge and adequate for customer service. I said, "buyer beware and trust what they say only after you verify" as a responsible consumer. I still gave them 4 stars with that caveat. December 2012: Then I needed a refrigerator... taking my own advice, I did my research and had the consumer reports ratings in my hand. I walked through the door and was greeted with over-sales and a siege of questions. I politely said I need no help, I just wanted to look so I could make some selections and review on my own. I told him I would let him know when and if I needed help. He told me that I wouldnt know what I needed unless he helped me. Needless to say, it went sideways from there. Again, he didnt know his own products and when he started following me around the store talking about each appliance as I paused to read the model description, note after I told him I needed no help, I responded pointing out his inaccuracies and pointed to the consumer report I had with me. He then criticized me for being to picky and attacked the validity of consumer reports. There was a final and equally unprofessional exchange I will spare you but needless to say, I left. I called the store to complain later but never got the return call from the manager I was told would come. I am not shocked. July 2014: So we were 1 and 1 for experiences but they were good on price so I thought perhaps the last-idiot was fired by now. I decided to go in yet again with my consumer reports. The heavy sales started even though I was walking away. I refused eye contact, put my hand up and kept walking announcing loudly that my husband and I were just looking and we did not need any assistance at this time. Rather than merely respect that, he made comments to someone behind the counter about us. We looked and not shockingly, we were the only customers in the store. We chose to leave, not that we found what would have met our needs anyway but due diligence done. DO NOT use this store. I have three friends at the Space Center where I work that have had installation nightmares with them. I didnt have them myself but given my experience of hostility, ignorance of their own products and aggressive sales tactics I should think that would be enough not to recommend them. Buyer beware.

Worst experience of my life. Just moved to Merritt Island from Maryland. The house I purchased had all new appliances and the stove was electric. I cook with gas. The seller of the home had left the receipt for me. I took the sales receipt to the Merritt Island store and the manager Doug was very friendly and seemed like he was willing to take the electric stove on trade for a gas stove. He was to research what was available and get back to me. He never did. When I called I was referred to another employee Evans who had no idea what I was talking about but would said he would get back to me. He never did. Called again and yet another employee told me he didnt know what the policy was but suggested I come in to the store and talk to the manager, Yes, you guessed it - Doug. I had made it clear from the very beginning that I waned to self cleaning oven and he told me they could not get one for under $1200.00 which is ridiculous. The moral of this story is dont deal with these people. I cant even get the address for the corporate office. I know the owner of the business is Sam Pak but when I call Im told he is unavailable and asked to leave a message. For obvious reasons I did not. Their loss actually because the electric stove can be used by my son and I ordered not only a gas stove but a different refrigerator.

30 day refund policy is misleading. Last line says Non-returnable - Used Items. How does one make a decision to return it or not without using it at least once? Policy is illogical. Then to add insult they offer to have another section of Appliance Direct call you to purchase back the new item at significantly less..what kind of program/scam is that? My elderly father was not informed verbally on the return policy and the salesperson did not have him sign their own acknowledgement on the receipt, yet one day later (after using the washer once resulting in a flooded kitchen due to a plumbing issue he discussed with them which dictates the so unit size/features he needed), they will not return/refund the washer. Technically nothing is wrong with the washer so theres no reason to claim against manufacturer warranty. The sales people should directly inform all buyers of the no return policy and assure the acknowledgement is signed ... especially an 87 year old man whose on a limited income and has a plumbing issue discussed with the salesperson. I would not recommend Appliance Direct to anyone; go to Sears, Home Depot or Lowes who sell the same products for similar pricing and are committed to Customer Satisfaction, honoring returns if a unit does not work out for the customer.

Appliance Direct, this is pretty much a new way of saying "spend your money for an excruciatingly painful headache". The customer service, to say is subpar, will be an extreme compliment. They deliver with incomplete Parts. They scratch and dent the appliance while bringing it in the home because they didnt measure it first. If you call and try to get an update on anything with your order and your sales associate isnt there, the person covering will have absolutely no idea how to help you by look into into the information. To say that they have customer service is to believe that the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are playing poker with Elvis in the Poconos. I cannot believe for the money that you save, you are subjected to atrocious horrible dealings! Forget about them calling you. If you dont call to get an update your left in the dark. Nothing beats going to Home Depot and getting brand new with everything intact delivered.

I went to this store to buy a range (mine quit the week before Christmas…). Overall a good experience, I had a really knowledgeable salesperson that set me up with what I wanted. He was sympathetic to my situation and even gave me a discount. I would definitely recommend these guys. Compared to Lowes I saved $400 on the identical range. My advice: ask these guys if they can give a discount. They are a little reluctant sometimes but always make a good deal.
