Worst place to work at. No hands-on training. They have new employees watch video all day and expect them to know everything by the time they are done watching the endless hours of videos at the end of the day. They then throw you on the floor and expect you to answer customer questions about products that you have zero knowledge about yet. No one cares to help you. Felt very, very stupid not being able to help customers when they asked questions about certain things they were looking for. Even had a few customers tell me in my face that if I didnt know what I was doing, that I shouldnt be working there. The managers are unapproachable and have attitude. If you applied to work at, for example, Lumber, when you go to the interview, they will put you in the department they want, not where you applied to work at. Teamwork is non existent. They start you at 26 hours a week and then cut you down to 12 hours per week. Bad, bad, bad.

Ive been using this Home Depot while running supplies to my business for over a month now and have never run into such rude staff as I have today. Walking into the front door the greeter was quite literally the only customer friendly staff Ive encountered. My issue explicitly comes from the paint counter staff. While expressing my needs to the ladies working there I was talked back to several times and treated as if I were in there way and totally incompetent. Further going along typically brushing it off considering she may have had a bad day. As she finished mixing my paint to my surprise she decided to throw it in front of me and told me with a terrible tone that It was done. Now coming from someone who consistently goes to Home Depot and not any other business I can without a doubt say that I do not plan on returning to this store ever again.

Its a hit or miss with Home Depot. There are some very helpful employees that work here, especially Deryl in the paint department. He is very cheerful the past couple times I have been there. Its a completely different story when you are trying to call Home Depot. I was trying to ask about a certain ceiling fan and was wondering if it was in stock before I drove over there, and I kept getting redirected. I guess if someone in a department doesnt pick up, my call gets transferred to customer service again. The woman trying to get me in contact with someone in the lighting/fan department was obviously frustrated by the third try. I just hung up.

This store is essential for homeowners in New Smyrna Beach. Store personnel are more than willing to help you can get a wide variety of items from Lumber to potted plants and flowers. Its easy to return items especially if you have the receipt comma never any questions the customer is always right one very nice thing is that they have sufficient employees to help you find items. The Only Fault one could find I think is sometimes their inventory control is not very good but they always can tell you when the next shipment will be in. The store and New Smyrna Beach its especially good.

This store is nice and I have had no problem with staff. They are very friendly the few times I have been there. My biggest complaint is I have NO cell service as soon as I walk into the store. I have Verizon and a Note 4 and the cell service goes away. Totally goes away. Not just down to one bar, like cant use your phone at all. I never lose cell service anywhere but here. Maybe they can do something about that. I dont see any WiFi there either. I sometimes need to make a phone call inside or look something up when I am there but that doesnt happen. Other then that. Great place!

With regard to customer service: Today I returned to buy 9 more bags of mulch (bought 12 yesterday). The credit card machine in the garden area would not accept 2 different Visa cards. I called the banks re: these accounts only to find they were NOT blocked. When I called Home Depot customer service, they were very reluctant to accept that their machines were in error. They barely apologized for my having experienced this after driving 20 miles to buy at their store. Then the customer service representative hung up on me!

I have received outstanding, professional service from ProDesk. All the ProDesk associates are awesome but I especially appreciate the leadership from Dave, Terra, Carl, and Margie. They make my life of a property manager stress-free with purchasing materials for remodeling & repairs. I make one phone call and have the materials ready at will call for pickup and that saves me time (which I dont have enough of)! I have received the very best remodeling advice from Dave! You have my loyalty--Home Depot NSB!

I agree with a lot of complaints about this box store. The paint department ladies obviously hate their job and make you feel like your interrupting their day. A few times Ive shopped there I was the guy customers were asking for advice, not that I was trying to do anyones job. However I will continue to shop at Home Depot over Lowes for the very comparable prices and convienant stock .

Waited 45 minutes for someone to bring me a shelf to the front that I was picking up for an online order, brings me the wrong shelf and insists it is correct. Needless to say, I got it myself, which I should have done in the beginning, but it was for an online order. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful though

Dawn at customer service and Andrew M the "store manager" belittled my husband and me today. Never in my life have I seen such a poor example of customer service. Drive to port Orange, its worth it to avoid these people.

The staff tries to do its best to avoid eye contact with you. Its like your interrupting their day if you do ask them anything. Take their advice on your project with a grain of salt, better off googling it.

Been to this home depot 4 times in the 8 ladt days. Cant say I was impressed with the staff who were so busy telling you what they didnt know they couldnt waste time listening to the actual question.
