We bought a stacking washer/dryer on January 5, 2013. The unit was used, but seemed to be in good condition. We paid 650.00. The unit was delivered as promised and worked okay, but the timer switch on the dryer didnt work. I called Topline and was told they couldnt get out that day, but could the next day, March 1 (a Friday). We waited all day Friday and nobody came. I travel full-time, so Monday morning or Friday afternoon is about all I have available. I called Topline and was told by a man who insinuated I was not right, and that my appointment was actually for Monday the 4th. I told them I had to have someone there prior to 11 AM on Monday due to having to travel out of town. They said fine. On Monday, I got a call about 10:30 AM saying they couldnt get out by 11, so theyd come Tuesday instead. I reminded them of my travel schedule. They said, okay, Friday the 8th. I asked if I could be the first appointment of the day, and they said sure. I got a call Thursday night (the 7th) telling me theyd be by between 1 and 4 PM. They totally disregarded the request for the first appointment. They finally showed up about 4:30 PM, and their solution was to replace our unit with a different used unit rather than simply replacing the timer switch. The replacement unit worked okay for about a week, then the dryer quit working. I called them, and they sent out a repairman this time who replaced the dryer belt. It seemed to be okay, but now the timer switch on the replacement unit stopped working, and also, clothes started getting caught between the dryer drum and the casing. I called once again and said Id had enough and wanted to speak to someone about just getting a refund (or at least a partial refund) and have them take it back. I then ordered a brand new one from Lowes. I called on March 26 around lunchtime, and the person who took my call seemed very concerned and apologetic, and said hed look into it and call me right back. By 4 PM I still had no callback, so I called them again. The person I had spoken with had gone for the day. They promised he would call back the next day (today) first thing in the morning. It is now going on 2 PM and still no phone call. This store is run by the Keystone Cops. Avoid them like the plague!

This is the first review I have EVER written, but I believe I need to let you, the future shopper, know the experience my family and I had at Topline Appliances of Melbourne, Fl, before you decide to go to this store. We came to Topline to get a good deal and save some money on a new Kitchen Appliance set, which we still spent about $5000. We had nothing but problems, horrible customer service, and not fully functioning appliances for over a month after the purchase date! The brand new fridge arrived with crooked doors (deliver guy said there were no "shims" and to call the store), the open box high-end stove range did not have working electrical components (owner said its Samsungs responsibility and only offered for me to pay $300 more to get one out of the box), the as-is microwave had damage on it that was not there upon purchase (The owner said we could pay an additional $150 for a new one to be sent - we did and that even came with dents. They then sent another door from a floor model and did not refund us the extra $150 we spent on upgrading to a new appliance). I called Topline and asked for a manager by name, but the man who answered the phone refused to let me speak with him as he was also a owner. In the end he basically told me that he did everything right. I informed the owners that I will make this public and they said they didnt care. So here I am, doing my part to share our experience so you can make your own informed decision about shopping at this store and giving them your money or not. My opinion - go somewhere else....Also, if you read other reviews you can tell the type of business owners they are by their blaim-shifting, border-line rude responses/remarks. Hope this helps, and HAPPY SHOPPING!

I recently bought a white side by side refrigerator at this store. The refrigerator on the floor had a sluggish freezer door, but the sales rep said they had a new one, in the box, in the store room. The sales rep assured me that I would get the new one and not the floor model. Upon delivery, I noticed the door had the same issue as the one in the show room. I called the store and asked to speak with the sales rep; she was out that day. I left a message for her to call me back. She didnt call back. I returned to the store and noticed there was a black refrigerator in the spot as the one I purchased. I spoke with the manager and expressed that I felt I was lied to. I was promised a new refrigerator (in the box) but got the floor model instead. His solution was to send someone to adjust the door, but my issue was not the door, but the fact a different refrigerator was delivered from the one I purchased (bait and switch). He couldnt order another one because returning the existing one would make it a used fridge, and he would have to sell it as Used, thus losing money. He said all he could do was refund $50 from the purchase price. I was not entirely happy with the solution, but I needed a refrigerator. I felt the sales rep knew I was in a bad spot and figured I would not notice the switch and just be happy I got a refrigerator. I will think twice before shopping here again.

Bought and PAID for a fridge. As we walked out the door the guy ran out and caught us claiming the wrong price had been posted on the fridge. We were told we had to pay another $300 or receive a different model. Absolutely ridiculous. We certainly will never shop here again. Update: At some point the owner "apologized" and offered me a deal of the same fridge for only $200 bucks more than what I initially paid for the fridge plus 20% off their 5 year warranty and a free tv. Bull crap if you ask me. Yes, mistakes happen. We are all human. Any reliable business would have eaten the cost of their mistake and just asked for stellar reviews and good word of mouth. After the service I recieved I wouldnt have taken the fridge if they offered it to me for free! It is absolutely bad business to take someones money for an item then turn around and expect them to pay more because of a mistake on the sellers end. Fyi. We turned around and bought a bigger fridge at Lowes for the same price. The 5 year warranty cost the same and actually covers more, which is well worth the 30% back verses the 50% back, in my opinion. AND instead of being told we would have the fridge in 2-3 weeks (Topline Appliance) we had the fridge delivered in 24 hours (Lowes).
