Not even worth one star. Well, we went down to get a refrigerator. The gentleman helping us was okay to deal with. He was very helpful. However, the guy to took the fridge outside and helped load it put two deep scratches on the front of it. Unfortunately theres nothing they can do but we picked this fridge because there wasnt much cosmetically wrong with it and it was what weve been looking for. Then when we got it home and got everything hooked up the ice maker doesnt work. Called to find out who to call and this said guy answered the phone rudely responded to my question and sounded like I shouldnt bother them there. Luckily I have someone coming tomorrow to figure out whats wrong with it. Very disappointed. Okay, update. Today four days after the purchase I got the truck loaded up to take the fridge back. I got a call from the store manager Greg. He was nice and apologetic, I told him everything that happened and he said that he will also let them know Im on my way so I can be in and out. So, we showed up to drop it off which the return to get a refund happened smoothly but returning the fridge was another story. Even though they were told we were on our way no one was there to unload the fridge from our truck. The woman who helped us came out and said no one was there could help right now and said we could just lay it down and push it up the ramp to the dock. We replied saying we didnt want to scratch the fridge or hurt it more and she responded saying it doesnt matter and went back inside for a second time after asking her if she could just lower the dock or get us a dolly. She never did come back out. The only person who could help us was on lunch at 8pm when they close at 9. So we had to back the truck up to the ramp and lift the fridge off our truck onto the dock which wasnt lowered so we could smoothly move it across and without anything to help us do it. As soon as we got it on it we left. Crazy to think not one person could get a dolly, or move the loading dock down level to the truck or help what so ever with unloading. The only good experience I had here was the woman who helped me with the return inside the store and the store manager treating me with respect. While standing at the counter with her the gentleman who sold us the fridge came over and she said do you remember these people. He said no but the look on his face said otherwise. Hes like oh whats wrong with the fridge and I proceeded to tell him everything and he said oh well it worked otherwise right? I should have said are you freaking kidding me. Needless to say I will never go there or recommend them to anyone. Sears used to be wonderful and respectful, now they are a joke. Forgot to add that if you want a 5 yr protection plan it cost $550-$600 for it when you can get a brand new fridge elsewhere with a better plan, better brand new product for $200 for 5 yrs. The appliances are supposed to be checked that they work properly and apparently thats not the case because most of these reviews they got broken items and missing parts.

This was my first time purchasing from this company. I went here because a family member recommended them. First of all, when I purchased the range in the store, the guy that waited on me (Mike) told me my delivery time frame would be between 8am to 12pm. When they werent here after 12pm, I called them. The manager told me that it was not supposed to be delivered during that time but instead from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, that I was the last one on the list and that he didnt know why they would tell me that. I didnt pull that time frame out of my behind ; THAT is what THEIR associate told ME. Anyways, I was still patient and waited for my time frame. After 5:30pm, someone from their delivery company called me to tell me that they were running 20 minutes late. I said that that was fine....still being patient. After 6:30pm, the delivery company called me AGAIN to say that they were running even more late but that I was next. At this point, Im a bit irritated as you can imagine. I used a day at work to be off and wait for the delivery of my stove that took, literally, all day to get here. I asked if we could reschedule, and the associate of the delivery company retorted with, "So, are you saying that you cant receive the stove?" I told him that I was concerned about the time since it was getting so late, I dont have lights outside of my house, Im trying to feed my kids and get them ready for school tomorrow, and you guys are taking all day. At the end of the convo, he told insisted that I was literally the next one up so I said ok.... The installation and removal was pretty fast which boosted my spirits a little. But, after all that, once it was installed and we turned the oven on, it let off a huge gust of gas and smoke! My eyes and throat are still burning! Of course the delivery guys were gone by that time. I called the delivery company back. They told me that they couldnt reach the drivers and even if they did, they would not be coming back out tonight and that I should call the store to set up repair. Repair??? On the first day??? So, I called in....again. The manager told me that I could either call the repair line or come in to get a new one of equal or lesser value. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO DO THAT! I dont have a vehicle and wont be able to make it in there for another week. I have NO STOVE! Now, I m so mad I could cry, I feel like Ive been duped and dont even want to replace it with them. I will NEVER spend another dime in this place! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I shouldve gone with my first mind and went to the warehouse on the Southside that sells used appliances. Thats where I got my first stove from. I messed up when I didnt get the warranty. But, at least there you know that your item is refurbished. The lady on the floor at the Sears Outlet told us that this stove was brand new out of the box! Apparently not... Im livid! Very disappointed!

So I started shopping at this Sears February 12th, 2017. I went in to purchase a sectional, a washer, and a dryer. Well origionally Mike W. helped me out and helped me understand the purchase process of the three items. Even took money off my order to help me out as a new home owner! Well, the first issue was this Greg manager guy changed our delivery date without calling us. So in turn these delivery people showed up to a vacant house! Then, we rescheduled the delivery date. We were at our new home with the doors open to have our furniture delivered, and the guy calls, says hes 30 minutes away. Guess what? He never showed up! Turns out he was 20 MILES away from my house. So we rescheduled, again. At this point we had been promised half our money back for the order, and our delivery fee waved. So when we got the call to say when the delivery people would be here we were moved into our new home, with no way to wash our clothes or anywhere to sit.. so they came on March 10th, delivered our belongings. Well, they scratched my new wood floors by being careless as to where they placed my sectional. So I walked out to watch them take the washer and dryer out and heard the delivery mens conversation: D1: (sees scratch and dent on front of washer) didnt you have that refrigerator strapped down? D2: no.. I didnt think I needed to . D1: why? Oh I hope they dont see it. Quite ridiculous right? It keeps getting worse. So whatever. So they told us the legs to the sectional would be in the couch. So they left we put the washer and dryer together, and then went to check out the couch and guess what.. NO LEGS! now, come March 16th, were still on the phone dealing with all the lies weve been told by this "gentleman". Its a bait and switch with this Greg manager. He sent us 4 legs for a sectional.. we need 8.. so we still cannot use our sectional. They have satisfaction guaranteed on their wall, and thats just a lie. Ive never been so unsatisfied in my life. My family has been customers with this specific store for 20+ years and Ill tell you what, we will NOT be returning.
