Parked on side to go to garden center but it was locked, I guess it had rained earlier. Went inside to harden center but no carts for carrying top soil. Went back outside for cart. Garden Center doors still closed. Got my soil then had to wait forever to check out. The one register was held up waiting for a manager. UPDATE! Went back today, ugh, my stupidity! Need a cartridge for a Home Depot MADE Glacier Bay shower faucet. First the lady in PLUMBING couldnt help me but said he would call someone else, so I went and waited and waited until a man came. He had an attitude when he got there, must have disturbed his nap or something. I told him I need a Glacier Bay Shower cartridge and he said "that doesnt tell me anything at all", did I say he had an ATTITUDE! Then I said how about this, does it help, I showed him a picture of the cartridge with the PART NUMBER on it! He then said that all they had was right here and he didnt see one! I said its your product and I bought it at this STORE. He said they were a CONTRACTORS STORE and really didnt carry a lot of parts! I asked where the sign was "saying when you buy this, we dont have parts for it"!!!!! I asked about another store and he said he would check and punched in the manufacturers number and found NOTHING! NO HELP WHAT SO EVER! DONT BUY GLACIER BAY PRODUCTS, THE DONT BACK THE PRODUCTS MADE FOR THEM!

Awful experience. (Update: I attempted to make a purchase, got a cancellation email, paid with Payapl and they tell me it will be 3 to 5 weeks to get a refund for an item I never got) I purchased an item online to pick up at the store. They said the item was in stock, in fact that they had more than one. Within an hour I got an email saying that my transaction was cancelled, with no reason given. I paid with Paypal. I checked my account and they charged my paypal account which is linked to my Paypal credit card. They were not supposed to charge it until you pick it up, now it shows as a purchase on my Paypal account as well as on my PP credit card and its in the balance I owe. The online chat tells me its just an authorization and I need to call Paypal and they cant credit or fix the problem. Home Depot says they cant do anything because Paypal holds sensitive info, but they are the merchant. They are useless, now I will have to dispute the charge. Ive worked with authorizations and holds before and have seen them as a customer and they never appear as a completed charge. So this amounts to theft or fraud because if I had not checked my account I would have paid for an item that I never got.

I have been going to this (the Deerfield Home Depot near 95) store for 12 years now. Not because they have best selection nor the largest plumbing section, but because they have the best associates. I walked in there today 7/5/09 with a short honey-do-list. I lingered in the grilling section checking out the floor models. I watched a female associate seek out 3 customers and help each of them with a smile which seemed like she knew each them personally. I then headed toward the plumbing section, after turning down assistance from two other associates on the way, an associate walked me to the item I was looking for explained the options that were available and asked if I needed any further help. This is all compared to the last time I went to the West Boca Lowes, and had associates running and hiding as soon as I looked in their direction. This is primarily because they did not appear to know the first thing about their department. If you are looking for assistance and can appreciate exemplary customer services than you should have been at Home Depot this weekend!!!

This is the best homedepot in south Florida I reconstructed my moms condo and the employees there are the most knowledgeable and most helpful out of all the home depots in south Florida I spent about 20,000 dollars there this year and I never had a problem there since day one they are awesome especially in returns department I always buy extra so I dont have to go back 20 times in a day and I never have a problem when I return my extra merchandise love this place thank you homedepot Deerfield beach :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)!

Really happy with this store and the Manager. We had a less-than-stellar experience there yesterday (not our usual experience at this HD), so we took the time to compliment one of the employees who had helped us out...and let the Manager know what our issues had been via email. We not only received a sincere callback and apology, but he went above and beyond in other ways for us. The gestures were truly appreciated. It shows that management is really trying here — and we totally support that. Nice.

Ive been there so many times over the past 20 or so years that theyve been there and Im almost always satisfied or pleased with the outcome. Sometimes I have trouble finding someone to help but so many have gone way above their job description that Ill be a customer for life. Last year the manager here was a true gem and Shannon G has been there making the garden department even more beautiful!

Horrible I bought a smoker grill I placed the order as assembled. When I got there they conveniently told me the assemblers wouldnt be there until Wednesday, its Monday the day before the 4th of July they completely ruined my plans of grilling for my family on the 4th... Will never go to home depot again I recommend Lowes which is where Ill be going from now on...

Every single time I go there another employee harasses me for no good reason. Everyone from the cashiers, self-checkout monitors, sales associates, managers. Its as if theres a storewide conspiracy against me. And Ive heard similar stories from friends. Never shopping there again. Ill just go to Lowes from now on. Its closer to home anyway

A nice Home Depot location tucked away in Deerfield Beach right off of 95. The hours are always accommodating. The service is good. Employees always try to be helpful and answer questions. You can find all the necessary products and services for home improvement that you would expect from a Home Depot.

I went to home depot and as usual the employees are great. This time I needed new blinds and Joe was the person to help me. This isnt my first time needing Joes help and its no surprise he was employee of the month. He knows what hes doing and I recommend his help to everybody with blinds problems.

I needed something from a top shelf and Jessica said she would get a ladder to get it down for me. She never came back. I saw her making keys 2 aisles over instead. Finally found another employee to help and he drug his feet and was super lazy about it. No wonder Lowes is so much better!
