I went into this location today and tried to get a short piece of ribbon cut (about 1 foot). The line at the fabric counter was incredibly long so I went to the cashier to see if they could cut it. The cashier immediately gave me an attitude and told me they werent allowed to cut it. I asked if I could speak to the manager and at first she told me no. I insisted and she told me Id have to go wait by the fabric cutting counter for the manager to come to me. I then asked if she had the phone number to either their district office or corporate. She told me no. I asked if the manager would have the number because I wanted to speak to someone with more authority. Another cashier then raised her voice at me and repeated that I would have to go wait for the manager somewhere else. I told the original cashier that Id rather take my business elsewhere than be treated this way. She immediately spoke into her headset telling the manager "Never mind". At this point I placed the things I wanted to buy on the counter and walked out. I enjoy doing crafts, but I will never shop at a Jo-Ann Fabric store again. I will take my business to their competitors.

Worst Joanns Ive ever been to. Not only were there only 2 people working the cutting counter, there was consistently a line of almost 8 people, the entire time I was there. People were taking tickets before searching for fabric, giving tickets to people at the end of line if they ended up not finding anything, and being a nuisance to the one worker who was actually trying to do her job. The other, younger girl at the counter was extremely slow, and ignored everyone in line unless she called your number. When she called me up I told her I wanted one yard cut off the bolt. She asked if I was sure I didnt want the whole thing. Excuse me? Did I stutter? When I repeated that I wanted one yard her response was something I could not believe came out of her mouth. "Dang! If you bought the whole thing itd be easier for me because I wouldnt have to cut it!" Are you kidding me?? I work in retail and if I acted like this towards my customers I would be fired so fast. I advise anyone against shopping here unless they like poor fabric selection and terrible customer service. Im just glad I dont live near here so I dont have to shop here ever again.

Good selection for the most part. Super high prices overall. Ive been shopping at this location for around 10 years and have had mostly frustrating experiences. Long wait to get fabric cut and then an even longer wait to check out. It doesnt seem to matter what day or time I go either. Most of the staff are great. The ladies who have been working there for a really long time never seem to be in any hurry at all to get things cut even when theres a bunch of people waiting. I have had a few interactions with the manager, Janet and I find her to be extremely unpleasant. She never smiles and has talked down to me when Ive had a question, concern or even a return. Given the choice, I always wait for the next available cashier instead of having to deal with her or just head over to amazon and save a great deal of time, money and frustration.

As is usually the case with the Brandon JoAnns location, they rarely have enough registers open to handle their customers. On a recent visit after looking around and being prepared to purchase five items, I headed toward the registers to find about 17 people in line and TWO registers open! I have had this experience on a number of occasions at this JoAnns and have expressed to the store manager this continuing problem. As recently as two weeks ago, I was in the store; and Ialso had this problem. Had the item been stocked at ANY other craft store, I would have left the store and gone elsewhere. On this most recent shopping day, I DID have the choice; and I made no purchases. I did go to another craft store and made purchases there.

Staff is alright. There is always stock in the way when looking for items. Carts of returns were in my way when I was looking for some craft items during one visit though they were tucked back on a later visit. I wasnt impressed with having to move around a cart of stock to look at buttons. Especially since no employee was in the aisle doing anything with it. Saw alot of carts and things full of half packed stock throughout the store with no one working it. I understand having worked retail being understaffed and trying to get everything out and having stock on floor once in awhile, but its been on multiple visits at different times. Love Joanns just not impressed with this store.

Hate coming here ... I miss Hancock fabric ...I never feel comfortable in this store ... the staff can be rude ... there signage does not say door buster and wait in a forever line tell u get into the end of the line and they say Im sorry your item is a door buster and you cannot use the coupon for this item ... it may have been only a few dollars but it is the principle of the thing ... its sad that this store has become a monopoly to the area ... its forgotten its consumer base ...

I went to Jo-Ann Fabrics yesterday to pick up a few things. I rarely go there, but needed some fabric paint. When I got to the register, the cashier, Maria was so helpful and genuinely nice. She downloaded a coupon for me on my phone that saved me $15. Asked me what I was going to paint and seemed to really enjoy her job. Excellent customer service skills and attitude. You dont see that much these days! Big shout out to Maria! Thank you!

Nice variety of fabrics and sewing accessories, but everything is very expensive. You could receive discount coupon by email, but always read carefully before using then, most of the time it does not apply for fabrics. I found most of the my sewing accessories cheaper at Walmart. Extremely long wait time to check out. Called to see if they could open another lane for cashiers and was told that they are waiting for more people to come to work. This needs to be improved. Amazon is another option for ordering these items if they cant get the check out process worked out.

Everyone is always very friendly. I know its a corporate thing, but I do wish their class program was better. In a class there has to be 3 people, if not the class is cancelled. A popular place so the lines can get long waiting for fabric and checkout. Go early and you wont have a problem.

Great prices and always awesome sales running through the store. I am baker who always utilizes them for their molds and other arts and crafts which imo they are the best in terms of selection and prices. Parking lot is clustered though and lines to check out can sometimes be very long.

Its clean and they always have a lot of cool things in stock and the staff are always really pleasant and friendly. However. It is 900 degrees in there at all times as the lines will take you a while to get through so, take your patience and double up on the deodorant.
