Of all the Michels Ive visited this is by far my least favorite! I went into this location looking for rubber bands literally just RUBBER BANDS! When I entered there was 3 employees near the check out counter talking amongst themselves. I slowly approached because I didnt not want to disturb them if they were discussing a work matter. After I over hear them talking about pets I said excuse me and asked about the item I was looking for. The three associates stare at each other and finally one says we should have some in the tie dye section. The gentleman turns around points the the back and says its about 4 aisles after the scrapbooking sign... I walk to the back of the store way past the scrapbooking sign I might add and spend 5 minutes searching a wall to finally find what I was looking for. Unfortunately it wasnt the size I needed. So I took the package and walked to the register, when I get to the cashier I ask her if there were rubberbands other places in the store, her response was I dont know but she did take the second to ask the associate next to her. He didnt seem interested and said we may have a rubberbands ball in the back on the other side of the store. Never looked at me or her and was extremely dismissive. When I asked what size it might be he didnt answer me. So I turn to the young lady that was helping me and she again goes I dont know. Now maybe Im expecting too much but is there no way to search the system, is there no way to contact another associate is there no way to have someone meet me somewhere in the store to help me??? She looks at me and proceeds to ring up my item and asked me if I wanted to go check. (At this point I was ready to leave because Michaels should never be this difficult.) I said no and that I was ready to check out. She mustve sense my mood because she apologized BUT still made no effort to help or have anyone else help me. Needless to say I will NOT be visiting this location again. Michaels is a place for art and crafts. Where people come to let their expressive side show, where children get to pick out fun project to do with their parents. The staff should be more up beat and active in helping the consumer.

Both times I visited the place the registers were down. The first time they said they would hold your items for you of you didnt want to wait. I waited 20 minutes and then decided to have them hold my items. When I returned they had placed my items back on the shelf. When I went to select the items again, it was out of stock. I stopped an associate to see if they could check to see if it was available at another Michaels, he said sure I have to give this customer their paint and hed be right back. After 5 minutes I decided to leave and this same associate was outside rounding up carts. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and inconvenient technical issues. Never again.

I went to this Michaels on Dale Mabry in Carrollwood and I needed a bow made and I went inside and I ask who can do it and the lady at the service desk show me.Then I went up to the guy he was rude.He was just doing something else and not even looking at me when I was talking.He said to make a bow is $15 and he said for the whole thing $29.50.Thats a big RIP OFF.The guy only looked up to show there displays.The guy name bill was very rude and I just had to leave the store.I was in the store for 3mins and I left.That was rude of that man he was not helpful at all.I would rather go to a different store than go here for a bow to be made.Wasnt happy at all with that man.

I was able to find everything that I needed, but every single staff was rude. I asked a guy where something was and he gave me attitude. Hello? First of all maybe this store should get what is located in the aisles relabeled because they are way off. Then as I was shopping around this other staff member was going around the store like a lunatic complaining to her coworkers about random stuff. I was using a 20% off total purchase coupon and the cashier was like oh you only saved ___ cents. I still saved some money didnt I? It adds up over time.

Michaels is the ultimate craft store. Love that place. Its the unofficial sponsor of my wedding since almost all the stuff used for it we got from there. Lol Im very crafty so Im in heaven when I walk in. Sign up to get emails from them and they send out great coupons too!

Id love to say I love this place but it never seems to really deliver on the great promise it holds. The staff is friendly, the store is well stocked, but it feels like it kinda needs something uplifting to make it really shine. It may just be the lighting - seriously.

I like Michaels for a certain specific craft things and other items but the smell from all of the pot pourri and candles and such really doesnt do it for me. Still, they really do have a lot of things that you cant find anywhere else.

Clean store. Nice place right up front where you can stand under the giant a/c and cool yourself off after being outside in the Florida sun. Staff is friendly enough. Everything is nice and neat and easy to find.

Been to several Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and other craft stores but this one was awesome. Took some prints in to get framed and Bill and the staff hooked it up beyond what I expected. Loved the work guys!

They had absolutely nothing in stock and had to ask various people for assistance and they were extremely rude and nasty about it. Absolutely worst Michaels Ive ever been to.

Whatever your heart desires in the way of crafts, photo/art frames, yarn, etc., they have it! Downside? You will wait in check out line for a very, very long time.

I really like the offerings of Michaels as far as arts and crafts are concerned, but I think the prices are too high compared to other arts stores in the area.
