Complete Lack of Communication. My wife and I opened a card with them and then purchased my wedding band along with other items. They measured my ring finger and gave me a 12. When I finally put it on at the wedding, it was super loose. To the point where I almost lost it at the beach. I went in to have it sized 6 months later, because we had the extended protection plan. The salesman was nice and took the ring and gave me a slip that said I should have it back in 30 days. He said that he had to send it back to the manufacturer to have it resized, but it shouldnt take too long. He said the 30 days was a max. About 3 weeks later, I called for an update, as I was in the area and if it was done, I could come by. The girl that answered the phone was less than interested to be speaking with me, in the first place. Once I asked about my ring, she went to look it up and then told me that it can take another 30 days once it arrives at the manufacturer, which is not what I was told initially. She said that the manufacturer determines if they need to remake it or just send back one that they had in stock, that was my size. So I asked if she could get a status from the manufacturer to see if they have gotten it and if they need to remake it or just send me one in stock. She told me she couldnt contact them. As someone who works with Vendors on a daily basis, I know you have contact with them. She wouldnt even go ask someone if they could. She just didnt want to do it. But in the end, she said she would find out and call me back. I never received a call. I explained the situation to my wife and she said that she would call in a couple of days to see if she can get a status update on the ring. She called and spoke to a Gentleman who told her the same thing, but said that he would call the vendor and then call her back with a status. She never received a call back. Today, my wife gets a call stating that my ring is available for pickup. She arrives at the store, and then they tell her that she has to pay $40 to get the ring back, because of shipping!!!! My Wifes engagement ring was resized 3 times at a different Jeweler, and was never charged a shipping fee. How is my ring covered by a plan that we paid extra for, and yet we still had to pay shipping??? The ring was over $900 with the extended plan, yet Jared couldnt cover the shipping. The customer service, here, is severely struggling. All we needed was a simple call to the vendor and a call back, and yet this simple task was impossible to be completed, by 2 separate employees. We are beyond upset about how we were treated, here, and its unlikely that we will be returning.

I want to start of by saying I have been a customer if Jareds for 8 years and have bought multiple pieces from the 2 locations in Brandon and in Citrus Park. I have never been as frustrated and offended by the situation that occurred today at the Citrus Park location. I went in to have several pieces of jewelry inspected and to have the finish restored. The problem started when they under valued the pieces that I was going to leave with them for service. I let them know that these items were worth more than the were estimating. I had them appraised several years ago so I was confident the number they were putting on the form was very low. I then spoke to Jessica Murphy the general manager who explained that they would just replace the SKUs. I said that the form she was having me sign said nothing of SKUs but did have a dollar amount that I would be held to if something happened to the items I would be leaving in Jareds possession. I had the ring appraised at Jareds in Brandon at 8,500 and she was valuing the ring at 1000 at first and then at 4,500 after I questioned it. When I asked her to raise the amount, she said she didnt feel comfortable doing that. Well how am I supposed to feel comfortable leaving items in Jareds possession knowing they are being undervalued. I have had these pieces serviced in Brandon and have never had a problem with the value of the pieces. Either youre gemologist needs retraining when making her appraisals or she just under appraises jewlery to minimize risk to the Jared company. Needless to say, this does not put my mind at ease when leaving expensive heirlooms in the possession of your staff. It is a shame because I have only had good experiences with Jareds prior to this. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Jareds in Citrus Park and I will seriously think twice before buying another piece from Jareds if this is the service I will receive. I did not leave my jewelry in possession of Jared because ultimately did not feel comfortable leaving them with the undervalued estimates she gave me. I will have to return to the Brandon location where I have received exceptional service every time Ive visited. I hope Jessica Murphy that you dont treat all of your customers this way because if you do, you wont have any left.

After my bad review sat on Google for sometime the manager gave me a call and apologized for my previous experience, informed me that the woman who helped us before was no longer with the company, and asked if wed come back in. We did and the service was a complete turn around, we purchased my diamond, and will be purchasing our wedding bands here, the jewelry is so unique, you cant find styles like this at other stores. My previous review ---->BAD EXPERIENCE. The quality is great but you can find it else where for much cheaper and with better service. I am in my early 20s and I grew up coming to this store with my parents and watched my parents purchase gorgeous jewelry from this store, I was so excited to come here and buy my wedding ring. Unfortunately the sales associates stereotyped a young couple and decided we werent going to spend money so they obviously didnt engage in assisting us. Will never shop with Jareds, Ill go drop the $5,000 somewhere else. 3 sales associates standing at the entrance and no one offered assistance. We had seek someone out to help us. Usually they offer water or coffee and they also offer to clean your jewelry if they see youre wearing any. Not this time. We looked at several rings and after declining their credit card the associate disappeared ( she didnt know that we were paying cash). We had to then ask for more help because I needed my bracelet fixed that I had gotten as a gift from here some time ago, the associate told me it didnt need to be fixed and I had to convince her it did. I was very polite and the associate wasnt rude just unhelpful. We didnt feel welcomed and didnt feel that our $5,000 was good here either.
