My girl friend and I had an hour and a half to kill before an appointment. So we decided to look at engagement rings at Jared. Big mistake. We walked in the door and was immediately attacked by a salesperson. We said we wanted to look at engagement rings and he directed us to another salesperson who herded us into her little office like a couple of cattle. We told her we had an appointment to be at in an hour and a half. She then proceeded to educate us on diamond quality and how Jared has the best quality diamonds. An hour and fifteen minutes into her lesson we told her we had to leave to make that appointment and that we had just wanted to look at some rings. She did not like this and tried to keep us there. When I finally said lets go, she then wanted to show us some rings. We left there without seeing any rings. This was a big waste of our time and hers. How many people really care about the quality? You cant see the flaws without looking at it through a microscope anyway. Like us most people care about, is it real, is it pretty, is it affordable and most of all does your girl like it? All the other stores we have visited went straight to showing us engagement rings upon our request. Most did tell us about diamond quality but it was added in while looking at the rings, which was fine. We didnt have to sit through a diamond quality class first. We bought her ring from Helzberg after shopping all the other jewelry stores several times except Jared. We will never grace their doors again. Jared wasted our time, didnt show us any rings, made us mad and almost made us late for our appointment. Jared SUCKS!!!!!!! I HATE JARED!!!!!!! I have told many of my friends and family to never go there and will continue to do so. BASTARDS!!!

After visiting several jewelry stores my husband was very impressed with Jareds and he ended up buying me a new diamond ring and wedding band for our 20th anniversary from them about seven months ago. It is so unique and beautiful. He was able to design a ring and wedding band exactly how he wanted and they were so helpful to him and went out of their way to make my daughter and his time there enjoyable. We went there tonight to have my diamonds checked and rings cleaned and to also get gifts for our moms for Mothers Day. It was so great to be able to look around without constantly having a sales associate hovering and over whelming us by never leaving our side like most places do. Our sales associate was the sweetest and most down to earth lady to work with even after being in there for over an hour trying to pick out the perfect gifts she never tried to push or rush us and they were busy. She stayed close and anytime we needed her she happily came over to take things out for us and answer any questions we had. Since she gave us space to look and think and was very helpful when she was needed we ended up getting some really beautiful gifts for our moms that I know they will love. I really look forward to going back to pick out a graduation gift with them next week!

Would give a half star, if I could. Have spend over $12k at this store on various items ... Had one diamond that developed a large flaw (yes! It was not there when purchased and have pics to prove it) which is why you keep up with warrenty service, for incidentals and damages like this. Went to the manager about it (who was a major beep word), not only did she deny "that ever happens, ever" but she made a giant scene in front of other customers to prove to me what an idiot I am & totally blew me off. The most unprofessional service of my life. So bad that 2 employees had to walk her away from me & apologized for HER behavior. Never will purchase anything from this store again.

I would give this store 0 stars if it were possible! Horrible experience! They almost ruined my husbands gold diamond wedding band by CLEANING it! Yes, they did something during the cleaning that caused a tiny hole to form in the gold and tried to tell us it was his fault. We had no idea and believed them but when we took it back a couple weeks later because the diamond they were supposed to fix had become lose again, the same thing happened! Another tiny hole appeared! Luckily the GM was there and fixed it and we didnt have to pay a dime. That was 2 years ago and we will never go back! Go to a family owned jewelry with actual professionals who know what they are doing!

Have had the worse experience with this store. They seem so unorganized with everything. I have spent close to 9k on this store and wanted to purchase something else so I called and spoke to a representative who was supposed to look something up and call me back as the "rewards days" were about to end. I never received a call back and of course that person isnt working today (the last day for rewards). Well I guess I can take my business else where. Youd think if you spend close to $9k at their store that they would atleast return a phone call. Columbia store seemed much better.

Weve always had a good experience at Jared in other states, and this store is no exception. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, and best of all, they allowed us to browse the store without hovering. While I was browsing, they cleaned my wedding rings so beautifully, they looked like new. They certainly made up for the horrible experience I had at Christmas with Kay Jewelers in Simpsonville. I would recommend Jared, and will be back!

Horrid costumer service, I waited 25 minutes without even a glance in my direction. Then watched as an older couple walked in and a sales lady passed right by me to greet them, as if I were invisible! This is the second time this has happened to me there. Just because I look young doesnt mean I am. I was looking for a 10 year anniversary ring set and yall lost out BIG time, dont judge a book by its cover.

Jared has always been WONDERFUL to us. My husband bought my engagement and wedding ring there. I also bought his wedding band. Then for valentines day he bought me a bracelet from Jared as well. Always professional service. They always offer water. They know your name when you walk in the door. Pleasant smiles and great service. I never feel pressured by the employees at all. Overall great place.

I went into the store to buy a ring. A lady that worked there quoted me a certain price. When I returned to buy the ring (which was late getting there) I ended up having to pay $700 more. Nice people, slow work, overpriced, and ripped off.
