NOYB Comedy

I was reluctant at first to go here to have my bike worked on. But I needed a quick turn around on the bike so I can take it with me on my out of town trip. I went here after reading couple of the reviews. Theo took a looke at my bike and told me what was wrong. The bike needed a new front derailleur. The store did not have the derailleur in stock. Theo suggested that I take it to their K St. store. He however called to find out if they had it in stock and most importantly if they are able to fix it in time for my trip. Now that in my books is excellent customer service. This is in addition to offering to have the parts delivered to his store and have it fixed there. But I took the first option. I have found a new LBS. Thanks Theo.

I stopped in pretty close to closing hoping for help with a flat tire. They helped me out right away, and they even walked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable with the steps needed to fix a flat. They were patient, super knowledgeable, and made it really easy to jump in as a beginner. I walked out with a working bike and the tools needed to try it on my own. Everyone was very welcoming and I will definitely try to start getting involved with their various community outreach classes. Thank you!

When you walk into Bicycle Space in Adams Morgan, you can already feel the energy of the staff that is already there to help you with any problem. I just love the team and how they get things done. Exceptional service and very friendly team. They explain the problem with your bike and give you options as well as insight on how to fix it if its a minor issue. That is the only shop I go to, and I say they are one of the best in DC!

Steven assisted me at BicycleSPACE on K Street. I was buying my first bike after a long break from biking and Steven really listened to what I wanted and helped me find a great all-purpose bike. Steven and Phillip answered all my questions. I tried a handful of bikes and never felt rushed or pressured. The staff stayed late to tune the bike up so that I could ride out the same day, which was super nice of them.

Like, totally the best bike shop in DC. Ive been a patron of the shop since it was over on 7th, and it consistently provides the best service and free programming. Some items can be expensive, and every once in a while Ill have to go somewhere else/order online if a certain manufacturer isnt stocked, but for repairs, maintenance, or advice, I wouldnt dream of going somewhere other than BicycleSpace.

Trued my wheels only to have one spoke break during a ride just after doing them- luckily I was not far from home but they took no responsibility for it. Tried to find another but they told me I would have to pay for it. Never coming back. Fwiw, they are friendly but you need to take responsibility if something breaks due to your negligence.

Staff were extremely professional, nonjudgmental, and helpful with me during the three visits I made to decide to buy a bike. They made helpful adjustments to the bike that I purchased, like switching out a stem that would put the handlebars higher. After visiting the three other bike stores in the area, this was by far my favorite!

Ive dealt with many bike shops over the years and I can without question say this was by far the best. The guys at the Adams Morgan shop went above and beyond to help me with a bike build and then, unfortunately, a break down. Its a long story but without these guys I never would have resolved the problem.

This place was great! Not being at all maintenance savvy, I came in with a disconnected cantilever (front) brake. Guy fixed it for me in 30 seconds, didnt charge me anything and pumped up my tires for free! So glad to have it in my neighborhood!
