For some horrible reason my laptops battery decided to give up today. I ran into Geek Squad only to hear that it might have to get sent out. I of course am someone who never backs up their computer but saves everything on it. Bruce, the kind employee of Geek Squad working at this store, saw how obviously distraught I was and went above and beyond to get my computer back up and running. However, even if this ended with my computer not turning on I would still write this review. The customer service I received today was courteous, attentive, and diligent in an effort to help me in anyway possible. So, I am just saying: if your computer randomly crashes in the middle of a study session...go see Bruce from Geek Squad.

Horrible service. I made a debit card purchase and had to return two items that Best Buy staff assured were compatible with my android. When I asked that the transaction be credited to my account immediately (since after all they debited my account immediately upon purchase), I received the usual excuse most unethical businesses do who try to suck interest income from banks while holding your and my money hostage for a number of days. Of course the excuse I got was "our system" doesnt work that way. To paraphrase, they take your money immediately, but their system takes days to reverse to transaction. shop Wal-Mart, Target, Radio Shack, etc. They dont pull these stunts.

The service is terrible. They treat you like you owe them something and they waste your time without even apologizing. After being ignored for 40 min, we figured out which pc we would like to buy. We decided to buy a not so cheap pc and they told us first that it should take them an hour to do the back up of the drive, then that it will take three hours. After we came back after 4 hours they said: come back tomorrow...and its all on our money and time. We decided to get the money back and to look for a different place where the salespersons want to get a commission. We will never go back again.

Thought Id make one trip to Target and Best Buy and not have to run all over town, but after spending literally a half hour calling and NOBODY picking up, Im not even going to bother. Are these people serious? A recession going on, and theyre so set for customers that they can ignore the ones calling on the phone? Thats fine, the Apple store in Pentagon City will get my business and money tonight. Its a much longer trip, but THEY answered the phone and told me they had what I needed. I guess thats too much to ask from Best Buy.

I love this Best Buy! Two years in a row of finding the christmas gift that I was looking for that was sold out online and in two other stores that I tried. Steve in video games is the best, he made my day by actually going back into the stock room (which the associates at two other stores did not even attempt) and found the one game my little 8 year old brother asked for. Much better than the one in Alexandria, where the games were all disorganized and no one was helpful. Thanks CH best buy!

Four stars, not because its amazing, but because its a perfectly predictable Best Buy. Prices can be a little high and the staff doesnt usually know that much about technology. But if you need to pick something up in person, or get your hands on a product before you buy it, its a perfectly reasonable shopping stop. However, this store is on the small side so the selection is less than stellar.

The 14th Street Geek Squad is terrific: theyre sympathetic, empathetic and best of all they know what theyre doing. I agree that sometimes there arent enough sales people on the floor but I would never even consider buying a laptop, printer or any other computer-related product anywhere else but the 14th Street Best Buy because of the Geek Squad. Highly recommended!

Its overpriced and the service is slow. The dozens of employees just hang around talking to each other instead of providing help. They have most of the merchandise behind locked cabinets which defeats one of the only reasons to have a physical store. Save the trip and vast amounts money and buy whatever you want from Amazon instead.

Average Best Buy. The major downfall of this store is that there displays never seem to work. I have gone several times to try a product and each time the product on display would not turn on nor could the sales team get it to work. I would say go there to buy not try but I think you should just buy online instead.

I called multiple time to check availability on a product and didnt receive an answer. Waited 20 minutes for someone to pick up. Wont be spending my money @ this Bestbuy because no one cared to answer my call. Thats telling me they dont have good customer service nor do they care about the customers.

Very possibly the worst Best Buy Ive been in. Service is terrible, and often enough they are out of anything worthwhile. Im giving two stars because about half the time at least I can eventually find what Im looking for, and theyre open a bit later. Otherwise, a waste of commercial real estate.

Dont even bother calling...youre just wasting your time and phone minutes. Buy the stuff you need from somewhere else. Maybe then theyll wake up when their sales slump. If this kind of service continues, youre reading a review about the next Circuit City -- theyll soon go bankrupt likewise.

Always a mixed bag at Best Buy in my experience. Half the time the staff is helpful and knowledgeable - other half they are annoyed, impatient, and seem to be completely unfamiliar the products. Return policy is good, even if theyre a bit hostile when you bring something back.

The store is somewhat smaller compared to others, but that is expected considering it is in the city. Parking is in the basement, but it is easy to find a space even in the holidays. Staff are about on par with Home Depot for finding someone if you have a question.

The customer service was horrible! The staff always pass the customer off on another employee! & they are quick to tell you that they dont know! I couldnt believe the service! & I purchased $400 worth of goods! I will never shop at another best buy ever again!!

When I visited the store today there were plenty of staff on the floor in every department and almost all of them greeted me and offered their assistance. I was not making a large purchase but the customer service was great and the store was pleasant and tidy.

I came to Best Buy, to purchase an MP3 player. This is the only electronic store that I buy my electronic equipment! Have found that the prices, are always, within my reach. Customer service has been excellent!! The products that you sell, are exceptional!!!

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. When I got home parts were missing from the box and I was left on hold on the phone for 30 minutes. Its no wonder Best Buy is going bankrupt. I will never shop in another Best Buy store again.
