Im new to North Carolina and considering this particular Staples is conveniently close by, I went to the print & copy center to try to get a few pictures printed. Its not what you say, its how you say things. Tanya in the print department definitely has some Southern hospitality, I can sarcastically say. I asked about their prices and the rate she gave me seemed much higher than what Ive been paying at Office Depot back in Virginia so I didnt think the rates would be much different. I asked her if she would price match to them and she tells me how she used to work for Office Depot and their prices are no different. I didnt say too much because I know what Ive been paying. She calls whatever Office Depot she used to work for and laughs to her previous co-worker about me wanting to price match and proceeds to talk to her about her birthday and going to see her and how she was ready to go home--even though I was not in a rush, it was unprofessional! So when she gets off the phone with her and Im telling her the size I want my photos, she tells me "Well I dont know what youre used to but Im going to have to charge you more to resize it" because its a "violation to manipulate the size". NEVER HEARD OF THAT IN ALL OF MY DAYS OF HAVING PICTURES PRINTED! So I tell her Ive never heard of that and she says that Office Depot should have charged me too and she would know because she used to work there. I didnt care where she worked!!! I just wanted my pictures done and 0.25 is not a lot to resize them but I was not putting a dime into Staples with an employee of such horrible customer service. Every customer should always be treated like your first whether you are getting ready to end your shift or not and if she was not interested in helping me, even though its not the proper thing to do, she should have let the man who was with her assist me instead. What a "Welcome to North Carolina"!

This is the worst staples ever! The other users are absolutely correct about their customer service. I went in to pick up some cards for my baby shower at the copy and print shop. There were two male employees in the copy and print shop standing next to each other. I was the only one in line waiting to be helped. The two employees were helping a gentleman print out something. I understand they were helping someone but I stood in line for about 5 minutes just waiting and NO ONE acknowledge me. One of the two employees even walked pass me a few times and still didnt even part his lips to say, "Just a second Ill be with you in a minute" Heck they didnt even make EYE CONTACT to acknowledge me. I dont understand how they missed me. I was the only one the line and I am also 7 months pregnant. You cant miss me. A gentleman walked up behind me in line and not even a second later the same employee who kept walking pass me acknowledged the man behind me and said "Ill be right with you" The other employee acknowledged this man as well. I wanted to walk out the store an not spend one red cent but I needed the cards that day. Needless to say. I will never ever shop there again. Those two employees are a poor representation of how Staples does business and because of them I will never go back! the worst experience Ive ever had in any store.

Whenever I visit this Staples, there are only ever TWO employees working the floor in THIS ENTIRE BIG BOX STORE! Its actually appalling - if you dont know where to find anything, you have to walk half a mile, walking up and down the aisles, looking for it on your own. And if you cant find it, you have to walk a QUARTER of a mile BACK to the cash register to ask the ONE SINGLE cashier where to find your item. The managers are obviously too cheap to hire more staff... however, if they hired more staff, wouldnt customer service improve, thus leading to more business??? This Staples is a joke. Its a dead in the center of Raleigh, to boot.

I have to highly recommend Mr. John Blankenship ( I believe he is one of the Managers). Mr. Blankenship is one the most professional person in the store. His courteous and professional attitude is superb. He has helped me tremendously in my print jobs. I highly recommend him for upper level management position with Staples. With so much competition in Office Supplies business - it best to have people like Mr. Blankenship at the top - so this company can thrive. Selling office product is 25% of the job the other 75% is customer service - and Mr. Blankenship takes the lead in customer service.

This is only for the printing section. The first time we went in to get pictures printed on cardstock one set of pictures 5x5 and the second set 4x6 When we came back after two hours they were printed wrong. We went back in to get it fixed and when they printed out the 4x6 set. After waiting 10 minutes she didnt even look at the printed pictures and any of the ones that were supposed to be horizontal were distorted to a vertical picture. Just a suggestion to the workers there. Check your work three times when youre done.

I was there that day and saw you "google user" and I saw that it was you in the bathroom that was "soiling" the toilet paper and throwing it on the floor. You are an animal and shouldnt be allowed in staples. Best office supply store around! Shame on you for trying to soil their name.....shame on you.

Slow service, poor management. They wasted a lot of my time and overcharged me $5. when asked for refund for the $5, the managers solution was to credit my card the $48 and recharge me $43, of course it would take a couple days to actually get my $

Maybe its because I am retired and so not in a high-pressure world anymore, but I have always had a good experience with them, you just need a little patience because they do have low staff, but I have always gotten excellent advice and service.

Called the first time, attendant hung up on me. Called second time, and was put on hold for 9 MINUTES literally after explaining that I was previously disconnected. This store is out of control! Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Went in to purchase binder paper and couldnt find any made with recycled paper. Very disappointing. In a world where we are using more of our planets resources than is sustainable, this is pretty irresponsible.
