Where to begin, I received a new car radio for Christmas, didnt like it, so I returned it. In doing so the rep NEVER stated that there was not going to be a NEW return policy, so after 2 months and the USB port went bad on the new one I called on to exchange that unit. After getting very upset and speaking to 2 different line level reps I spoke to a supervisor who will not be named. After a day and her "looking into it" I was given a return exception to replace my radio. Being that the radios I wanted to replace with was the same price so she said we can do an advance exchange. After hanging up with her I receive an email stating that the charge was declined. I called up and said what are you doing? Your email stated that I would not be charged till after the one I sent back was over 30 days. BIG GOOF since this was a gift from my mother in law and created an issue of its own. So she said we can do it like I had done before, I agreed. After it taking almost 2 weeks to get back to them I saw it was received by them yesterday (5/3/17) and confirmed that the new radio was going to be sent out, the rep confirmed this. Well today I check my email only to see that they REFUNDED the card used and there was no shipping confirmation. I immediately called and asked what is going on. The rep on the phone stated that is was another failure on their part and that accounting saw no need and refunded the original card that was used and a new one would not be sent out. After speaking to another supervisor today 5/4/17 all that was "offered" was free shipping, which they do already, but supposedly speedier and an undisclosed discount. At this point I am "waiting on a call from management" which who knows when that will occur if at all. From now on I will be taking my business elsewhere, the total of the company failed here not just one rep. THE WHOLE COMPANY!

Terrible Company. I had scheduled an appointment to get an Amp and Dynamat installed 2.5 weeks in advance. I had to call several times to make sure that the items that I wanted to purchase from them would be held for me when installation was coming this weekend. I was going to drive 2 hrs to Charlottesville to get it done while I visited the town. I call them 3 days prior to the appointment to make sure everything in line and they tell me that I cannot install the AMP onto my factory stereos. (I am not sure why I cant. It should work just fine except with a better amplifier). I said I would give htem a call back So, I said okay, I will replace the front component speakers with Focal speakers and just give up the Dynamating the 4 doors. Then the installer says I didnt schedule time for Dynamatting and that he could only either do the amp or the speakers. Terrible Service. Was going to spend over $1500 dollars on parts and labor, but I will be taking my money somewhere else. Crutchfield doesnt seem any better than Best Buy Mobile. Except Best Buy probably has better prices on certain things like Dynamat and Crutchfield almost always sells at retail and doesnt price match. Get it done at a professional audio place.

My car radio was playing music but the screen wasnt working, so I went in for a diagnostic. After a quick look, they informed me that they didnt understand what was happening and they offered to replace my radio. Since this was a diagnostic session, I kindly asked them to take a close look at the radio, and remove it if they needed to in order to figure out the problem. They were adamant about selling me a new radio as rather than unplugging the radio, they cut the wires and told me that it simply wasnt working. It is clear to me that they are only good for installing radios but cant (and are not incentivized to) fix problems. This is very disappointing as they call it "diagnostics" and charge $50. Plus, I am also very frustrated that instead of taking off the plugs, they haphazardly cut the wires. Attention to detail is zero at this place. I did pay $200 for a new radio + labor but will never go back again as they are not diligent at their jobs. I find their approach to be immoral.

The TVs and other equipment are pretty much the same as other stores, but what distinguishes Crutchfield from its competitors is its service. When I bought my second TV from them a couple of years ago they came to my house (15 miles away from the store), took the old TV and set up the new one for me. That new one failed to operate a few days ago, so I brought it in to the store for repair. They said it might take up to two weeks, but . . . they would give me a loaner TV for the interim. Get out! Who does that? Who else gives you a 60 day return privilege on new purchases? Try and get that kind of service from a big box store. Their prices are fair -- and competitive -- but their service overall is so far ahead of the competition that the choice to buy there is an easy one.

After determining that my next tech purchase should be a Bluetooth speaker, I decided against Best Buy in favor of Crutchfield because after all..... Crutchfield does specialize in audio, while Best Buy has a general knowledge and/or selection of audio equipment. After getting to Crutchfield, I was greeted promptly by one of the employees. He demoed several different speakers using my music of choice. JBL... No. UE..... No. Sony.... Again, no. Finally chose the new Bose Soundlink Color II. Great sound quality, and great experience buying from them. Will buy from Crutchfield again.

Visited a couple of times. Good selection and great customer service. Purchased a Receiver on first visit. Came back to look at wireless noise cancelling headphones on second trip. Staff, very helpful and was able to try on multiple sets of earphones. Nothing was quite right. Will wait to see what comes next.

As good as it gets. Bryon and the rest of the staff, treated me like I was family. I left a CD in my old stereo, and called to see if it could be recovered. Bryon told me to drop by anytime and he would take care of it. I did and he did. The man in the installation area was awesome as well ! Can I give 10 stars

Salesperson not adequately knowledgeable (knew more about car audio than floor speakers). Instead of having speakers in stock to listen to, they have a simulation room which is supposed to mimic speakers but does not do so. No studio monitors were present at location. Had to be sent from warehouse.

The staff at Crutchfields were able to exchange a defective Bluetooth speaker with no hassles. I wasnt going to make another purchase, but the salesperson said, just listen to the JBL Flip 4. One demonstration and I was sold. Couldnt be happier with it. Planning to take it to the beach version.

I took my 10 year old Sony TV to the retail store in Charlottesville on a Sunday. I got an estimate, approved it, and picked it up on Wednesday. Nobody does service better than Crutchfield. Plus, every person I spoke to in the store was friendly, helpful, and speedy. I love Crutchfield!!!
