Went to trade in a used console today, must have been about 20-30 people in line with only one sales associate working there. So I waited about 25 minutes with the console in my arms, got to the front of the line, and the sales associate (Donald) gave me a dirty look and asked if I was trading a console in. He then said he was too busy and had too many people in line to help me, and that I would need to comeback later. I told him I would like to cancel my preorder for Call of Duty Ghosts, at which time he then processed my transaction all while patronizing me, and telling me "good luck finding a copy somewhere else". One of the biggest game releases of the year with only one person working in the store, what kind of game place is this? Oh by the way "Donald" I did happen to find a copy at a Waterbury gamestop (900 Wolcott St), they had plenty in stock, with 2 people working and only about 3 people in line. The sales associate (James) was about to take the traded in console in less then 10 minutes, instead of acting like Ive inconvenienced him by daring to step foot in the store with a trade in.

This is the worst GameStop ever poor customer service they told me if I pre ordered a game before a certain time I would get a steelbook with it when I went to pick the game up they said they might be all out but they only had 1 left dont promise me something if your going to just give those steel books to people who didnt pre order in that certain time I almost missed out on it you need to get the exact number for the people I will never pre order a game from GameStop again

About the typical experience youll expect at a store run by antisocial gamers. The selection and pricing is the same as anywhere, but the surly service and blunt upsell techniques are tiring. Do yourself a favor, and head down the road to the other location in town.

As a gamer the prices are just about right on, the only down fall is their trade policy. Dont bring your trade ins keep your games as you wont get a third of what you paid for it.
