Had a horrible experience. This is a privately owned store apparently which pays UPS corporate for its services. Consequently it charges the customer a premium over what a corporate store would charge. Aside from that I paid for 2 day shipping ($70) for a small package worth far less than the shipping cost. Knowing the recipient worked during delivery hours and would be leaving state the night the package should arrive I explicitly asked if the package would be left at the door. The clerk said yes. Just to be sure I asked again, specifically requesting that the package be left at the door no matter what; no signature, no liability if it is stolen off the porch, nothing. Just leave the package in all cases. Again the clerk responded yes. Much to my dismay watching the tracking reports 2 days later I saw that they attempted to deliver it, but didnt leave it when no one answered the door and would try to deliver it again the next day (when the recipient would be out of state as I knew beforehand). Frustrated I called this store in Thornton and the local branch in Missouri delivering it. Both gave me the same run around saying that they would try to deliver it the next day. After explaining to them it would be pointless with the recipient out of state for 2 weeks and that I requested the package be left when I shipped it I decided to drive to this local Thornton branch. Speaking with the manager I politely requested a refund since the package was not delivered as promised. He replied since they would still try to deliver th package a few more times it wasnt a "failed delivery" in the system yet and could not issue a refund until it failed. Low and behold the next day the package was dropped off at the front door and the package was considered delivered. I again went to the store arguing for a refund and was told that it could not be issued. The store manager told me I had to request a refund through UPS corporate since they were the delivering party and his store was independent and had already paid UPS corporate for the refund. Despite thinking this was absurd I went ahead and called UPS corporate. After several hours on the phone being transferred and put on hold I was told they cant issue refunds for packages delivered through independent locations and I should request it through the local store. Going back to the local store I was flat out refused a refund, albeit with a phony smile and "Have a nice day". Bottom line, I paid this local branch in Thornton to deliver the package to the doorstep of the recipient in 2 days and it was not delivered. If the problem was with UPS corporate it should have been the local branchs responsibility to seek a refund for themselves while issuing me a refund regardless. An analogy comes to mind. Lets say I pay a builder to build a house for me and he subcontracts the plumbing. If the plumbing fails and floods my house I expect to be reimbursed by the builder. I do not expect for the builder to tell me to go ask his plumber for compensation. The builder should compensate me then seek his own compensation from his subcontractor. The local UPS store is the irresponsible builder and the plumber is UPS corporate who was contracted to deliver the package.

Absolutely ridiculous! Mailed 2 boxes, mind you clothes for traveling allowed plenty of time to reach the destination and would have paid more. Employee did not offer any other options, gaurenteed my packages would be there by the date needed. One of them did. Hey, one was sent via ground shipping. So now Im in a different state without any of my items. Called to speak to a manager whom advised ground shipping is not ever gaurenteed and to allow 4 days. Advised they have a new girl in the office. I asked who trained her and why wasnt someone making her aware what should be advising during shipping I questioned why only one of the packages arrived he provided the explanation of he is not responsible and "Ups trained her" if she is working on YOUR store someone in YOUR store trained her. He interrupted me by saying they only work part time and to file a report with UPS. I dont care what your hours are. This is your JOB.(conveniently, after calling UPS I was advised the branch in Thornton is a franchise and is independently owned and operated. As such, the corporate office could offer no solution)Take responsibility. Ridiculous! I understand its not his fault personally that my package is not here, but the way this slime ball handled it is super in professional and in called for. Due to poor training I am 3 states away with 1 change of clothes while "allowing an additional 4 days".

They try to be nice yet they completely over charge for their services! They shipped a Package to Canada ground for our Business and could not use our UPS act number then the charge was double what the charge for the exact same package was when shipped USPS. Once it got to Canada our person receiving the package is being charge about the same amount I paid in duty taxes etc to be able to receive his package.. This is due to the folks at this UPS store putting in something wrong on the shipping..(according to UPS customer service) when I called the store to ask why this was done, they said they do not put anything on the shipping document that would cause this charge that it is just customs, completely disregarding what the TRUE UPS customer service has told me.. And once he slipped up and said that since it was a "sales" item which I never said it was and I said that was not the case, he hung up on me.. DO NOT GO to this STORE!!!!!!! Complete Rip off!!!!!

I had a personal experience a few months ago with this store. I brought in a pkg with a pr paid label and i was still charged $10.00 to ship this package. I thought it was strange since the vendor sent me the pre paid label. I did let vendor know and they said i should have not been charged. I have since then decided i was scammed because i really didnt know any better so i trusted the clerk at that store. I have since then received multiple emails regarding my experience with that particular UPS store since its the only one i have used. I will not be using this store any more. Havent been back since that incident. I dont usually complain so i let it go. Please dont send anymore emails on my experience or opinion of this store and how its managed because i as a consumer was very dissatisfied. Please stop sending rmails. Thank you.

They told me that my package was a guanteed to arrive by Tuesday and they changed the tracking at the last minute. When I called them to figure out how to fix this and get the package sent to my client for their conference on time. They then promised me it would be re-routed to the hotel the next day for the conference. They lied both times, which makes my business look very bad. He then called me four hours later and told me it could not happen. I had to refund my client and was lied to twice by this store. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM- ESPECALLY IF YOU NEED SOMETHING TO BE DELIVERED ON TIME.. We talked to customer service and UPS corporate and they gave us money back, but we lost a great customer, and had to refund a sale. If they would of told us the truth about the delivery time none of this would of happened.
