I just experienced a very rude and unaccommodating employee--so-called manager--of Michaels in Thornton. My husband bought a piece of glass (10x16 in) there yesterday which cost $21.70. I was shocked at the price tag when he brought it home, but found out that Michaels only carries the most expensive type of glass. I just called Hobby Lobby in Broomfield and they carry three types of glass, and the least expensive is $10 for a 10x16 inch size. Today as I tried to put the glass from Michaels in the frame, it broke because it was a very tight fit. I called Michaels and asked if they could recut it at no expense to us because their sizing could have been a little off. She said I was the one who broke the glass and they could not have possibly made a cutting mistake. She continued to be rude and had no words of consolation--not even an "Im sorry this happened." Any store that allows its staff to treat its customers like this do not deserve loyal customers. I will not go to Michaels again, but will choose stores that care for those who make them successful.

I called because I wanted to buy 8 crates and I didnt know if they would have that many, and I didnt ask, but the woman on the phone offered to have them hold them for me, which was extremely helpful. I was able to go straight to the front, pay right away, and she even helped me get all 8 of them outside so I could put them in my car. Ive worked in customer service for about 3 years, and I know its hard to give every customer your best, but the service really blew me away, especially considering they were busy due to the memorial day sale. I really appreciated all the employees going out of their way to help me. Ive been going to this location for a long time and never had a bad experience.

I shop there all the time until today! Kelly the? Assistant manager?? If she deserves that title is the RUDEST human Ive met. Chris the othe manager is just lazy and wouldnt help me 2 weeks ago but today she topped the cake. I think if she really hates her job like it came across she should quit and let someone else take her position. I think the Micheals managers should go to personality and customer service training. But I know if you are born without a personify you pretty much will never have one. Ill shop at hobby lobby where they treat the paying customer with some respect. And I have to put 1 star to post. They deserve negative stars

I called Michaels in Thornton to ask if they had a product I had seen 2 days prior in the store. The woman that answered the phone was: rude, non-accommodating, and put me on hold before I could finish describing the product. When she came back, she asked which store I had gone to because clearly it wasnt their store. I described the store to her in order to prove I was indeed at her location. Afterward, I asked to speak with the manager and low and behold I figured out why the employee acts the way she does. The manager was only slightly better than the employee. They definitely need to get better help and teach customer service.

I forgot to use my coupon and called customer service online if I can honor it still. Yes. I went in the manager said I needed the actual coupon on hand to scan. Nowadays, its online coupon. She got frustrated and put her elbows on desk with head in palms. Wth, the lady didnt want to do her job. I told her I called customer service and they said I can redeem it within 7 days and thats why I came in to the store. Please get some other help if your associate does not want to work.

Some of the staff is very unprofessional and need to be fired, you cant retrain everyone. Please check your receipt thoroughly before you leave the store because chances are you were charged extra!. This happens alot when they have specials or discounts and they tend to charge double for what should be half off or free. The cashiers wont catch their mistakes and so you need to be extra attentive with your purchase upon checkout.

This company has horrible customer service. I went here to get a custom frame, and the employee quoted me without providing me any specifics as to what I was buying, and/or asking what I was looking for. At 55% off they were the same price as other custom frames I had looked at. Also, in purchasing easels, I later found out that they were cheaply made. I would think even a craft store could get this right. Dont waste your time.

It is a great location and product but the staff save 2 are horrible. The manager er whatever she is (black hair, stressed out face and shorts) needs either help or a long long vacation. Ask for help and beware the eye rolling or the constant need to prove an item is listed on sale. All because they forget to take down their signage. Corporate needs to visit this one a lot more.

I have noticed that the employees are not as friendly close to closing as they are during the day. I live very close to this store so I go often. They have great clearance and tons of cute gifts, although most craft supplies are cheaper at their competitors. I really love to go here when I need a quick gift, seasonal items, or home decor.

I do a lot of beading. I was buying the glass pearls for $.99 a strand then they upped the price to $1.99 a strand, not too happy about that. They do carry Japanese beads, that makes me happy. I do most of my bead shopping online with other companys Cuz its way cheaper.

The worst service Ive ever received! Waited for almost an hour for the food, then when we did get our food, the order was wrong! Will never eat there again! Brand new IHOP and youd think they would strive to set a good impression. Dont waste your time or money.

I called this location for pricing on Prismsacolor single soft-core pencils. The representative simply guessed the price, and then, unknowingly, stated that she had no idea and wasnt listening to me, because she quoted a variety pack of made-up ness.

Great place to stop when im feeling crafty! Real close to my apartment so it makes it easy to take a quick stroll on a nice day. The store is always very clean and organized and most of the staff very helpful.
