A Private User

We recently had a very expensive picture framed at this location and relied primarily on their framing experts guidance on a border and frame. The result was not of very good quality and we were particularly concerned about the longevity of it staying together. They were quite rude and did not offer to alter it or in any way make the situation right. When we asked them to do so or to refund our money, they told us to read our contract and were disrespectful. We expected quality, professional service considering their premium price. We will never shop at Michaels again.

The staff is friendly, but the space is too open, not cozy or craftsy feeling. I love that they have weekly 40% off coupons (and they do accept competitors 50% off coupons), but they just dont have a great selection of adult crafts: its become a lot more kids-craft oriented. Which is fine when you have young ones, but adults like crafting, too! I still shop there, but I dont like the way the store is set up and its not inspiring anymore.

My sister walked to this store without telling our mom. A kid asked her if she knew where a product was, and she helped the kid. Turns out, that kid thought she worked there. She now aspires to be a checkout clerk at Michaels. Thanks!!

Overall this location is decently organized, stocked, and staffed. Michaels in general is a great craft store, though I think they should get rid of the frame section and replace it with fabrics.
