With a little something for everyone (yarn, fabric, roving, embroidery stuffs, tons of notions, etc.) it seems this adorable shop is always hopping! The variety of classes is also reflective of this. The yarn selection is pretty great when it comes to carrying some of the nicer, high-end ones, though the colorways may be somewhat limited depending on what youre looking for. I was surprised to see so many non-cotton fabrics; if youre looking to make clothing instead of quilts, this is the place to check out. My only qualm is that they dont have any rewards point system and all the other LYSs do, so be aware of that.

Jaime and Amber were life savers! I had made a cardigan sweater for my husband from a Stephen West pullover pattern, Drangey. The neck was unsuccessful as a cardigan, but I was very uneasy about what to do, and wanted to get it finished! They took time to figure out what was needed to be done, worked the math with me, and sent me on my way! Within a day I had cut the neck of the top down sweater off, and knit a much more successful one in place. My husband and I are both very happy with the result! Thanks. Jane

I WANT TO LIVE HERE! I have never felt compelled to write a review before but I just had to for Fancy Tiger crafts. It is hands down the most amazing craft store I have ever been to. For such a small shop (they are moving to a much bigger space by the way) they carry the most carefully curated (with love!) fiber and fabric and notions. Everyone who works there is willing to help you with any project they need. I go pretty much every week and they have new stuff there all the time. GO!

This shop is fantastic if you love to geek out on animal fibers. Impeccable selection, very well-executed concept ("hip crafting"?) Although they have lots of high-end yarns, I never think twice about splurging for the quality product they stock. Nice selection of unique/mod fabrics as well. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and non-judgmental even if you frequent the place like a madwoman. Denver is lucky to have this gem!

Jamie, Amber and all of their wonderful staff are super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Im always impressed at how happy they are to help when you have questions. Their stuff isnt cheap, but there is a good selection and decent price range, and it is high quality and worth the time youd put into making something to last. Plus the space itself is inspiring and makes me want to make fun things!

The store is quite an experience! They have a great selection of yarns and some very interesting fabrics. They also carry roving and spinning equipment. The giant table is great for sitting and crafting at with friends at a class. My only complaint is that the majority of the yarns they carry are not for the beginner, since they can cost $20+ per skein.

LOVE TlHIS STORE!!! The people who work there are so friendly and knowledgeable, and above all, HELPFUL! Bought some great yarn and a pattern there. Although selection is small, they have the best stuff in town as well as great ideas/patterns. They also have such a great collection of fabric - if only I had more time in the day to be crafty!!!

Fancy Tiger Crafts is an amazingly inspired store! All of the materials are unique, and amazing! I am new to crafting and am excited to take part in some of the classes they host - and then to support the Annual Holiday Handmade Craft Show! What a great experience shopping here time after time. In my recent trip I was especially happy as staff members talked with my kids to help distract them while I browsed and selected a book. Another staff member was delightfully engaging my 2 year old while my 10 year old discussed his craft purchase.

Fancy Tiger is a great store full of amazing fabric, yarn, felt, and other creative odds and ends. They also carry a nice collection of books related to crafty endeavors. I love that my city has somewhere I can go to find fabric I likely wouldnt find in a chain fabric store.

Selection of yarn is something to be desired, expensive as well and a 20 minute wait to have a skein balled.. Probably a fee as well if you want to wait to find out. Not a very friendly staff, or helpful. Maybe because Im a man? Anyways, I would recommend shopping elsewhere.
