In the past, I used to experience great customer service at Verizon stores, maybe that was because a wonderful friend of mine used to manage multiple Verizon stores. Not so much any more. The manager on duty at the time of my experience was incredibly rude from the start and unwilling to help me or even explain any possible ways he could help. Ive been a customer for the better part of a decade with Verizon and all said and done, spent over $10k with Verizon. Didnt seem to matter. Two parts to this review, the store part and the Verizon part. The store: as i said, the manager was incredibly rude and unwilling to help me. When the initial rep couldnt help, i quickly asked for his manager. Manager came over and pretty much said cant help you. All I wanted was to buy a new phone, less than 2 months from my renewal date... Used to never be an issue. Apparently individual stores are now preventing early upgrades... I say individual stores as per Verizon corporate, they make their own decisions on early customer upgrades. Now, I will admit, i got pretty heated but any consumer should in my shoes. Its incredibly arrogant on their part. Im in the customer service role every day and if I treated my customers this way, Id expect them to be angry. I will do everything I can to never shop at this store again. The company: shall I say each consumer is getting smaller and smaller. Verizon seems to be caring less and less about their customers, we are all pretty much expendable at this point. They are making it harder and hard for us to get what we pay for. For example, rather than rewarding a great customer with a great history, they say things like, "we grandfathered you into the unlimited data plan but if you want to buy any new phone from us at a discounted price, you will have to sign up for a new two year contract which means you can no longer qualify for an unlimited data plan." Effectively saying, thanks for your great service history, but were going to screw you from here on out. If it werent for the final supervisor explaining to me what that really meant for me from a cost perspective, I would have been minutes away from jumping ship and heading to another carrier (not that i would have been any better off there). anyway, dont shop at this store. Colorado BLVD store is much better, or just try places like best buy etc. They need our business, apparently some verizon stores dont.

Being from Colorado I dont get to eat fresh seafood very often. So while in Florida I wanted to go out and eat some good frash seafood. I looked on Google maps for some places that were close to my location and chose the "The Fishing Hole" due to its four and a half star rating and the fact it was causal attire. When I walked in, I felt completely under dressed, do to the white linen table clothes and light candles on the tables. However the owner Kenneth (who meet me at the door) assured me that I was dressed just fine. My waitress was a very nice young lady who almost immediately asked what I would like to drink, followed by Kenneth welcoming me and told me to let him know if there was anything I need to let him or my waitress know. I started with the fried calamari which was very good. Then, I decided to go with the fried shrimp and oysters, which came with a very nice salad. The portion size was more than fair and I remember looking at my plate and think "Am I going to be able to eat all this" which I did because I love good food! As I sat eating my meal I couldnt help but notice the music. So when Kenneth walked by and asked me how everything was, I asked him if he was the "mix master". Tears for fears, Crowded house and and the like straight out of the 80s. So not only was the food great, the music was excellent as well! I gave "The Fishing Hole" five stars because I was that impressed with the entire experience I felt it deserved it. Keep up the great work Kenneth and when I return to Florida you will be one of my regular eateries!!

I hate Verizon, especially this store. Dustin, the store manager that I spoke with this evening, has some of the worst customer service skills of anyone I’ve ever dealt with. I bought two new phones online on Cyber Monday. I thought I was upgrading my 2 phones, but instead I added two lines—now I have four phone lines and 2 new phones and 2 old phones. I called Verizon customer service. They said I had to go to a Verizon store. When I went to the store, Dustin , the store manager, told me that they couldn’t help me because I bought online. He said the only thing he could do was have me return the new phones and they would charge me a restocking fee. He smugly repeated this several times, and told me that if I had bought the phones at the store, there wouldn’t have been a problem. I wish I could never do business with Verizon again.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! The SALESPERSON, Donny, LIED and told my mother (who is almost 80) that the least expensive way to upgrade her phone was to purchase their "promotion" which included an iPad with the iPhone. I was with my mother and we specifically told the salesperson that my mother didnt need an iPad. She just needed a cell phone. It turns out that this "free" iPad was actually going to cost my mother almost $1000 over two years! Donny continued his lying for two hours before I finally caught a discrepancy in his story and forced Donny to offer my mother a plan which cost $50 less per month. Donnys manager, Jaimee, reviewed my mothers cell phone plan upon my request, but backed Donny up saying that it must have been a miscommunication. It wasnt. Donny outright lied to us and tried to take advantage of an 80 year old.

Joe SUCKED! We had the worst customer experience of our lives. We got there at 7, were told about 20 minute wait. They finally got to us at 7:40. That part sucked but I expected it. The guy that set up our phone was horrible, my boyfriend was a new customer and this was his first experience with them. Joe was very agitated with us, and was short. He complained about customers coming in. He got pissy when my boyfriend wouldnt choose the phone he recommended, and also got mad when he didnt sell us a case or screen protector. He treated us like he was better and too good to be helping us. Never going back there. Ive tried several times to call the store to talk to the manager but hes either not there or busy.

Bunch of liars and crooks. Switched two lines from the two year contract to their monthly installment plan. The selling point was that monthly line charges were half what they were before. So buy a new phone and pay it off in total, according to the rep we dealt with, and youve just saved yourself some $40 each month on your bill. Turns out we ended up just buying new phones for the hell of it. Verizon reps over the phone confirmed that isnt possible to get service for that cheap. Guess its my fault for not following up with another point of contact with the store beforehand. Really though, why should i have to double check that verizon isnt hiring lying scumbags in the first place?
