I went in for the first time on Friday 8/14/15. I am a bit of a make-up junkie and had tried mac twice in the past it was ok. Thought I would check it out in store. The reps were all busy assisting other customers and so I waited. When the girl who helped me came she had 10 minutes to the end of her shift. No problem I didnt mind waiting but she took me anyway. Kept looking at her watch, which I understand she probably had plans after but I felt like a big inconvenience. Which if that were the only problem it would have 4.5 stars but the real issue was what and how she talked to me. First she acted like I couldnt afford the make up. I do budget but I can afford M.A.C. I have sensitive skin and it breaks out easily if I use "cheap" makeup. I politely told her that I planned on buying a few things but still wanted to stay in budget. As she took off my make up she asked if I washed my face. Im 31 I struggle with acne since I was 12. I wash my face RELIGIOUSLY other wise my face would be worse. I exfoliate 4-8 times a month with a brush or the scrub from Clinique. She kept going on that she was esthetician and that my skin was dry. I told her about my meds for my hormonal acne making my skin dry but my skin is combo not really dry. Then she continued to tell me I need to hydrate my skin. She told me about some great moisturizers. That was appreciated but the tone wasnt . After the color match which seemed so right at the time she said at the check out " you really need to wash your face twice a day in the morning and at night" . I was in SHOCK and decided to just smile and nicely say " Oh I do." Where I was offended was that she was very condescending and judgmental the whole time but mostly about my acne. You could tell that this girl had most likely never had acne because she would never had made the comments she did. I would not have bought anything if I didnt drive all the way from Wyoming. I was prepared to buy the works but only bought a few things... why possibly give her commission on terrible manners. The next day I ran retired clinical esthetician (worked for a dermatologist) and I told her my mac experience she said clearly this girl was not a clinical esthetician. CLEARLY. ALSO MY FOUNDATION was terrible and the color is so OFF. The pigment goes on smooth but after about a minute breaks into weird patches and rubs off.... So much for long-wear. If you put it on too lightly its patchy instantly. NOT IMPRESSED. Will be down next weekend to return these items and I will just go to Sephora and stick with Make UP Forever and Bare Minerals. Better products and service.

I sent a few of my friends to this location because I highly recommended the product and services. I told them to ask them if they show them a few techniques of applying makeup. They told me that the woman acted like she didnt care and didnt have the time. So with a rushed tutorial, they bought some product anyway. I have to say though Im extremely upset with this being that they should treat their customers better. I have makeup artist that work for Mac in Florida,Chicago, Michigan, New York and LA and I know they would never treat anyone like that. Im a huge fan of your products and have a ton of people who are female impersonators that would love to hear about this horrible customer service. I would advise you to talk to someone about this before I need to take this matter the highest I can.

I went in to try to return an eye shadow that we received by trading in old Mac makeup. We accidentally grabbed the wrong color and brought it back a couple weeks later unopened and with the receipt to swap it out with another color. Their customer service was HORRIBLE! I was originally straight up told no by the associates and they didnt seem to care. I then asked for the manager who came out and refused to make a simple exchange. I wasnt asking for a lot here. She said her hands were tied by the system but I call BS. It was not a hard thing to do and the request was very reasonable but they couldnt care less. It was a simple exchange for 1 item!! I will not be shopping at mac again. It is pathetic how poor their customer service was. Maybe this is why the store was empty...

I wanted to have someone do an evening beach wedding look and I was prepared to spend a lot of money to purchase the products used. I went to the Cherry Creek location yesterday and was treated horribly. I called Park Meadows location and they were so nice!!! They booked me an appointment for today and were actually excited to help me. Megan did my makeup for me without hesitation, showed me how to do what she was doing (even drew me an instruction card) and put zero pressure on me for purchases. She was AMAZING. I would highly recommend the Park Meadows Mac location. I will be returning for sure.

Both times that I have been to this particular store I have had a good experience. I do NOT like to do my own make up for special events as a Hip Hop artist and on occasion when my personal make up artist is out of town, I always resort to MAC. They are trained well and have a good technique. This last week (I cant remember her name) I went for make up in the back area which is private and discrete. She asked me many questions as to how I like my make up and she made even my acne prone and broke out skin look flawless and That is hard to do so I will be back today Love it there
